Catalytic Performance of Carbon Smoke over Ag-LSCF Composite Catalysts

To improve the catalytic performance of La_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Co_(0.2)Fe_(0.8)O_(3)(LSCF)towards carbon soot,we utilized the impregnation method to incorporate Ag into the prepared LSCF *** conducted a series of characterization tests and evaluated the soot catalytic activity of the composite catalyst by comparing it with the LaCoO_(3) group,LaFeO_(3) group,and catalyst-free *** results indicate that the Ag-LSCF composite catalyst exhibits the highest soot catalytic activity,with the characteristic temperature values of 376.3,431.1,and 473.9℃at 10%,50%,and 90%carbon soot conversion,*** values are 24.8,20.2,and 23.1℃lower than those of the LSCF *** also shows that LSCF can improve the catalytic activity of soot after compounding with Ag,and reflects the necessity of using catalysts in soot combustion *** characterization and BET test show that Ag-LSCF has more abundant surface-adsorbed oxygen species,larger specific surface area and pore volume than LSCF,which also proves that Ag-LSCF has higher soot catalytic activity.

Although solar steam generation strategy is efficient in desalinating seawater,it is still challenging to achieve continuous solar-thermal desalination of seawater and catalytic degradation of organic ***,dynamic regulations of hydrogen bonding networks and solvation structures are realized by designing an asymmetric bilayer membrane consisting of a bacterial cellulose/carbon nanotube/Co_(2)(OH)_(2)CO_(3)nanorod top layer and a bacterial cellulose/Co_(2)(OH)_(2)CO_(3)nanorod(BCH)bottom ***,the hydrogen bonding networks inside the membrane can be tuned by the rich surface–OH groups of the bacterial cellulose and Co_(2)(OH)_(2)CO_(3)as well as the ions and radicals in situ generated during the catalysis ***,both SO_(4)^(2−)and HSO_(5)−can regulate the solvation structure of Na^(+)and be adsorbed more preferentially on the evaporation surface than Cl^(−),thus hindering the de-solvation of the solvated Na^(+)and subsequent nucleation/growth of ***,the heat generated by the solar-thermal energy conversion can accelerate the reaction kinetics and enhance the catalytic degradation *** work provides a flow-bed water purification system with an asymmetric solar-thermal and catalytic membrane for synergistic solar thermal desalination of seawater/brine and catalytic degradation of organic pollutants.

Graphene oxide(GO),a new and promising material,has been widely used as a co-catalyst in photocatalytic reactions;however,its capacity as a sole photocatalyst has rarely been *** this study,ultraviolet(UV) light irradiation was used as a modification method to obtain reduced GO(rGO) *** samples were used as photocatalysts to examine their visible light photocatalytic activity toward hexavalent chromium(Cr(Ⅵ)) *** force microscopy(AFM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),UV-vis spectrophotometry,Raman spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and electron spin resonance(ESR) spectroscopy were applied to interpret the surface and structure changes with UV *** oxygen-containing functional groups(OFGs) on the GO surface were reduced to defective carbons andπ-conjugated C=C(sp^(2) domains) under UV light;this led to a decrease in the interlayer distance between GO sheets,GO fragmentation,and increased disorder on the GO *** restoration of sp^(2) domains led to a narrower band gap of GO,which favored the rGO excitation by visible light to generate electron-hole *** rGO pre-irradiated with UV for 1 h(rGO-1),possessing the highest defect density and electron generation efficiency,exhibited the best Cr(Ⅵ) reduction efficiency,which was about three times that of the GO sample;moreover,it outperformed most of the reported GO-based *** addition,low pH and the addition of citric acid as a hole scavenger could further improve the photocatalytic *** study proves that GO or rGO can be used as a sole photocatalyst under visible light to remove environmental pollutants such as heavy-metal ions,and it paves the way for the development of this kind of material and its UV-irradiation modification for further applications.

High-entropy materials have become high-activity electrocatalysis owing to their high-entropy effect and multiple active ***,we synthesize a series of carbon-supported nano high-entropy oxides（HEOs/C）,specifically （PtFeCoNiCu）O/C,using a carbothermal shock （CTS） method for application as a cathode catalyst in direct borohydride fuel cells （DBFCs）.The microstructure of the prepared catalysts was characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray absorption fine structure,and transmission electron *** prepared （PtFeCoNiCu）O/C,with particle sizes ranging from 2 to 4 nm,demonstrates 3.94 transferred electrons towards the oxygen reduction reaction in an alkaline environment,resulting in a minimal H2O2yield of 2.6%.Additionally,it exhibits a Tafel slope of 61 mV dec-1,surpassing that of commercial Pt/C (82 mV dec-1).Furthermore,after 40,000 cycles of cyclic voltammetry（CV） testing,the half-wave potential of （PtFeCoNiCu）O/C shows a positive shift of 3 mV,with no notable decline in the limiting current *** （PtFeCoNiCu）O/C is used as a cathode catalyst in DBFCs,the DBFC achieves a maximum power density of 441 mW cm-2at 60°C and sustains a cell voltage of approximately 0.73 V after 52 h at 30°*** findings confirm that HEO/C is a promising cathode catalyst for DBFCs.

This paper proposes a novel microphone array speech denoising scheme based on tensor filtering methods including truncated HOSVD(High-Order Singular Value Decomposition), low rank tensor approximation and multi-mode Wiener filtering. Microphone array speech signal is represented in three-order tensor space with channel, time, and spectrum modes and then tensor filtering model can be designed to process the multiway array data. As to the first method, noise can be reduced through the truncated HOSVD which is a simple scheme in tensor processing. It is more accurate to find the lower-rank approximation of the three-order tensor with Tucker model. Then MDL(Minimum Description Length) criterion is used to estimate the optimal tensor rank in the second method. Further, multimode Wiener filtering approach upon tensor analysis can be considered as the spanning of one-mode wiener filtering. How to take advantages of tensor model to obtain a set of filters is the heart of the novel scheme. The performances of the proposed three approaches are evaluated with objective indexes and listening quality test. The experimental results indicate that the proposed tenor filtering methods have potential ability of retrieving the target signal from noisy microphone array signal and the multi-mode Wiener filtering method provides the best denoising results among the three ones.
