Phase-controlled asymmetric optomechanical entanglement against optical backscattering

Quantum entanglement plays a key role in both understanding the fundamental aspects of quantum physics and realizing various quantum devices for practical applications. Here we propose how to achieve a coherent switch of optomechanical entanglement in an optical whispering-gallery-mode resonator, by tuning the phase difference of the driving lasers. We find that the optomechanical entanglement and the associated two-mode quantum squeezing can be well tuned in a highly asymmetric way,providing an efficient way to protect and enhance quantum entanglement against optical backscattering, in comparison with conventional symmetric devices. Our findings shed a new light on improving the performance of various quantum devices in the practical noisy environment, which is crucial in such a wide range of applications as noise-tolerant quantum processing and the backscattering-immune quantum metrology.

Surface reconstruction of heterostructures in alkaline medium towards enhanced electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution

Constructing heterostructures has proved to be a successful strategy to fabricate electrocatalysts with high efficiency for water ***,the structure evolution in alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction lacks investigation and the specific active center remains ***,we take the well-designed Ni_(3)S_(2)@VO_(2) heterostructures as a model to investigate the electrocatalytic activity and the surface reconstruction process of heterostructure catalysts in alkaline *** Ni_(3)S_(2)@VO_(2) heterostructures,with Ni_(3)S_(2) nanorods as the core and VO_(2) nanoflakes as the shell,coupled with the high conductive Ni_(3)S_(2),the hydrophilic VO_(2) and modulated electronic structures at the interfaces,exhibited prominent activity and superior stability at various current ***,the ex-situ characterizations confirmed that the surface reconstruction from Ni_(3)S_(2)@VO_(2) into Ni_(3)S_(2)@amorphous-Ni(OH)_(2) in alkaline media could optimize the water dissociation barrier and exposed large active area,thereby contributing to improved electrocatalytic *** study not only introduces novel high-performance electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),but also provides a new avenue for re-examining hetero-structural catalysts in alkaline solutions.

A transverse relaxation determination of spin-exchange relaxation free （SERF） magnetometer based on polarization modulation technique is proposed. Compared with the radio-frequency （RF） excitation and light intensity excitation meth- ods used in SERF magnetometer, the light polarization modulation method has a high stability in low-frequency range, which indicates a more accurate transverse relaxation measurement.

MADRL-based UAV swarm non-cooperative game under incomplete information

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)play increasing important role in modern *** this paper,considering the incomplete observation information of individual UAV in complex combat environment,we put forward an UAV swarm non-cooperative game model based on Multi-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning(MADRL),where the state space and action space are constructed to adapt the real features of UAV swarm air-to-air *** multi-agent particle environment is employed to generate an UAV combat scene with continuous observation *** recently popular MADRL methods are compared extensively in the UAV swarm noncooperative game model,the results indicate that the performance of Multi-Agent Soft Actor-Critic(MASAC)is better than that of other MADRL methods by a large *** swarm employing MASAC can learn more effective policies,and obtain much higher hit rate and win *** under different swarm sizes and UAV physical parameters are also performed,which implies that MASAC owns a well generalization ***,the practicability and convergence of MASAC are addressed by investigating the loss value of Q-value networks with respect to individual UAV,the results demonstrate that MASAC is of good practicability and the Nash equilibrium of the UAV swarm non-cooperative game under incomplete information can be reached.

Atorvastatin, etanercept and the nephrogenic cardiac sympathetic remodeling in chronic renal failure rats

BACKGROUND Chronic renal failure(CRF) patients are predisposed to arrhythmias, while the detailed mechanisms are unclear. We hypothesized the chronic inflammatory state of CRF patients may lead to cardiac sympathetic remodeling, increasing the incidence of ventricular arrhythmia(VA) and sudden cardiac death. And explored the role of atorvastatin and etanercept in this *** A total of 48 rats were randomly divided into sham operation group(Sham group), CRF group, CRF + atorvastatin group(CRF + statin group), and CRF + etanercept group(CRF + rhTNFR-Fcgroup). Sympathetic nerve remodeling was assessed by immunofluorescence of growth-associated protein 43(GAP-43) and tyrosine hydroxylase positive area fraction. Electrophysiological testing was performed to assess the incidence of VA by assessing the ventricular effective refractory period and ventricular fibrillation threshold. The levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) and interleukin-1beta were determined by Western blotting and enzyme-linked immunosorbent *** Echocardiogram showed that compared with the Sham group, left ventricular end-systolic diameter and ventricular weight/body weight ratio were significantly higher in the CRF group. Hematoxylin-eosin and Masson staining indicated that myocardial fibers were broken, disordered, and fibrotic in the CRF group. Western blotting, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,immunofluorescence and electrophysiological examination suggested that compared with the Sham group, GAP-43 and TNF-α proteins were significantly upregulated, GAP-43 and tyrosine hydroxylase positive nerve fiber area was increased, and ventricular fibrillation threshold was significantly decreased in the CRF group. Carbonbased aerogels derived from biomass chitosan are encountering a flourishing moment in electromagnetic protection on account of lightweight,controllable fabrication and ***,developing a facile construction method of component design with carbon-based aerogels for high-efficiency electromagnetic wave absorption(EWA)materials with a broad effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)and strong absorption yet hits some ***,the nitrogen-doped magnetic-dielectric-carbon aerogel was obtained via ice template method followed by carbonization treatment,homogeneous and abundant nickel(Ni)and manganese oxide(MnO)particles in situ grew on the carbon *** to the optimization of impedance matching of dielectric/magnetic components to carbon aerogels,the nitrogen-doped magnetic-dielectric-carbon aerogel(Ni/MnO-CA)suggests a praiseworthy EWA performance,with an ultra-wide EAB of 7.36 GHz and a minimum reflection loss(RLmin)of−64.09 dB,while achieving a specific reflection loss of−253.32 dB mm−***,the aerogel reveals excellent radar stealth,infrared stealth,and thermal management ***,the high-performance,easy fabricated and multifunctional nickel/manganese oxide/carbon aerogels have broad application aspects for electromagnetic protection,electronic devices and aerospace.

Clinical efficacy of Baijin pills in the treatment of generalized tonicclonic seizure epilepsy with cognitive impairment

BACKGROUND The generalized tonic-clonic seizure(GTCS)is the most usual variety of epileptic *** is mainly characterized by strong body muscle rigidity,loss of consciousness,a disorder of plant neurofunction,and significant damage to cognitive *** effect of antiepileptic drugs on cognition should also be *** present,there is no effective treatment for patients with epilepsy,but traditional Chinese medicine has shown a significant effect on chronic disease with fewer harmful side effects and should,therefore,be considered for the therapy means of epilepsy with cognitive *** To investigate the clinical efficacy of Baijin pills for treating GTCS patients with cognitive *** This prospective study enrolled patients diagnosed with GTCS between January 2020 and December 2023 and separate them into two groups(experimental and control)using random number table *** control group was treated with sodium valproate,and the experimental group was Baijin pills and sodium valproate for three *** frequency and duration of each seizure,the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA),and the Quality of Life Rating Scale(QOLIE-31)were recorded before and after *** There were 85 patients included(42 in the control group and 43 in the experimental group).After treatment,the seizure frequency in the experimental group was significantly reduced(P<0.05),and seizure duration was shortened(P<0.01).The total MoCA score in the experimental group significantly increased compared to before treatment(P<0.01),and the sub-item scores,except naming and abstract generalization ability,significantly increased(P<0.05),whereas the total MoCA score in the control group significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.05).The QOLIE-31 score of the experimental group increased significantly after treatment compared to before treatment(P<0.01).CONCLUSION Baijin pills have a good clinical effect on epilepsy with cognitive dysfunction.

Exploring a new path of green and efficient utilization of sinter return fine to produce composite pellets

Efficient utilization of sinter return fine is an important measure to reduce cost,increase efficiency,save energy and reduce emission.A new path of green and efficient utilization of return fine was proposed to produce composite *** metallurgical properties of composite pellets under the condition of hydrogen-rich blast furnace were *** experimental results indicate that the coated concentrate was consolidated for the composite pellets through normal Fe_(2)O_(3) *** the surface of core return fine,the liquid phase formed due to its low-melting point,assimilated the adjacent concentrate,and then consolidated with the temperature *** with regular pellets,the com-pressive strength and reduction swelling index of composite pellets were decreased,but the reducibility index and softening-melting properties were *** addition,the reduction degradation index of composite pellets was sig-nificantly higher than that of ***,adding composite pellets was conducive to indirect reduction in blast furnace,reducing fuel ratio and improving production *** to the effect of the roasting system on the metallurgical properties,the roasting temperature and time were determined as 1250℃and 30 min,*** composite pellets can be produced under the traditional pelletizing process.
