The effects of weather conditions are ubiquitous in practical wireless quantum communication *** in this work,the performances of atmospheric continuous-variable measurement-device-independent quantum key distribution(CV-MDI-QKD)under diverse weather conditions are analyzed *** to the Mie scattering theory and atmospheric CV-MDI-QKD model,we numerically simulate the relationship between performance of CV-MDI-QKD and the rainy and foggy conditions,aiming to get close to the actual combat environment in the *** results show that both rain and fog will degrade the performance of the CV-MDI-QKD *** the rainy condition,the larger the raindrop diameter,the more obvious the extinction effect is and the lower the secret key rate *** addition,we find that the secret key rate decreases with the increase of spot deflection distance and the fluctuation of *** the foggy condition,the results illustrate that the transmittance decreases with the increase of droplet radius or deflection distance,which eventually yields the decrease in the secret key ***,in both weather conditions,the increase of transmission distance also leads the secret key rate to *** work can provide a foundation for evaluating the performance evaluation and successfully implementing the atmospheric CV-MDI-QKD in the future field operation environment under different weather conditions.

Compared with the fiber channel,the atmospheric channel offers the possibility of a broader geographical coverage and more flexible transmission for continuous-variable quantum key distribution(CVQKD).However,the fluctuation of atmospheric conditions will lead to the loss of performance in atmospheric quantum *** this paper,we study how temperature affects atmospheric *** mainly consider the temperature effects on the transmittance and interruption *** the numerical simulation analysis,it can be shown that the performance of atmospheric CVQKD is improved as temperature increases,with the other factors ***,the results in this work can be used to evaluate the feasibility of the experimental implementation of the atmospheric CVQKD protocols.

Objective To assess the prevalence of the bleeding complications in pacemaker implanted patients receiving different antiplatelet regimens, and the influence of each regimen on hospital stays after device implantation. Methods We prospectively enrolled 364 patients receiving the cardiac rhythm device implantations in Fuwai Hospital from July 2012 to December 2013. Bleeding complications including pocket hematoma, hemothorax, cardiac tamponade and blood transfusion requirement were measured as endpoints. Post operation hospital stay was also included in the endpoints. Results Bleeding complications were detected in 15 patients （14 with hematoma, one with hemothorax） out of all 364 patients （4.12%）. Dual antiplatelet therapy （DAT） significantly increased hematoma （19.3%） compared with aspi- fin treatment （ASA）（3.2%, P = 0.001） and no antiplatelet therapy （1.9%, P 〈 0.001）. There was no significant difference in incidence of pocket hematoma between the ASA group and the control group （P = 0.45）. The post procedure hospital stay was longer in DAT group （5.45 ± 2.01 days） compared to those in the ASA group （3.65 ± 1.37 days, P 〈 0.05） or control group （3.99 ± 2.27 days, P 〈 0.05）. Pocket hema- toma was considered an independent predictor of hospital stay prolongation （OR： 5.26; 95% CI： 1.56-16.64; P = 0.007）. Conclusions Among the Chinese patients undergoing device implantation in this study, the use of dual antiplatelet agents significantly increased the risk of pocket hematoma complications and led to a longer hospital stay. Use of aspirin alone did not increase the risk.

To the Editor:Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease(ADPKD)is a common inherited kidney disease with an estimated incidence of 1 in 400 to 1 in 1000.[1] It is a late-onset systemic disorder characterized by the development and progressive enlargement of cysts in the kidney,eventually leading to end-stage renal disease.[2] Previous studies have shown that ADPKD is a heterogeneous monogenic disorder resulting from mutations in two genes:PKD1 and *** data showed that PKD1 and PKD2 mutations account for 85% and 15% of ADPKD cases,respectively.[3]

The development of chemoresistance which results in a poor prognosis often renders current treatments for colorectal cancer(CRC).In this study,we identified reduced microvessel density(MVD)and vascular immaturity resulting from endothelial apoptosis as therapeutic targets for overcoming *** focused on the effect of metformin on MVD,vascular maturity,and endothelial apoptosis of CRCs with a non-angiogenic phenotype,and further investigated its effect in overcoming *** situ transplanted cancer models were established to compare MVD,endothelial apoptosis and vascular maturity,and function in tumors from metformin-and vehicle-treated *** in vitro co-culture system was used to observe the effects of metformin on tumor cell-induced endothelial *** sequencing was performed for genetic ***-angiogenic CRC developed independently of angiogenesis and was characterized by vascular leakage,immaturity,reduced MVD,and *** phenomenon had also been observed in human ***,non-angiogenic CRCs showed a worse response to chemotherapeutic drugs in vivo than in *** suppressing endothelial apoptosis,metformin sensitized non-angiogenic CRCs to chemo-drugs via elevation of MVD and improvement of vascular *** results showed that endothelial apoptosis was induced by tumor cells via activation of caspase signaling,which was abrogated by metformin *** findings provide pre-clinical evidence for the involvement of endothelial apoptosis and subsequent vascular immaturity in the chemoresistance of non-angiogenic *** suppressing endothelial apoptosis,metformin restores vascular maturity and function and sensitizes CRC to chemotherapeutic drugs via a vascular mechanism.

Objective:The study objective was to observe the effect of Dachaihu decoction and its "prescription elements" on intestinal flora of model rats with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Materials and Methods:Healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into the following seven groups (n=105):normal, model, pioglitazone hydrochloride (PH), shuganlidan, Jianpihuatan, Tongfuxiezhuo, and dachaihu decoction (DD). 16SrRNA high-throughput IIlumina sequencing platform was used for sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis of rat intestinal flora was done. Results:Compared with the normal group, rats in the model, PH, shuganlidan, Jianpihuatan, Tongfuxiezhuo,and DD groups showed significant differences in the intestinal microflora structure. The microorganisms that play an important role in the normal group are Ruminococcaceae, Oscillospira, Lactobacillales, Lactobacillaceae, Lactobacillus, bacilli, Ruminococcus, TM7, Spirochaetes,Clostridium, Elusimicrobia, Elusimicrobiaceae, Elusimicrobiales, Lactobacillus helveticus, Lactobacillus reuteri, Elusimicrobium, RF39, and Christensenellaceae;in the model group are Ruminococcus gnavus;in the PH group are Prevotella, Paraprevotellaceae, and Blautia;in the Jianpihuatan group are Bacteroidetes, Bacteroidia, Bacteroidales, Roseburia, Rikenellaceae, and?Stridium methylpentosum;in the TongfuXiezhuo group are Bacteroidaceae, Bacteroides, Porphyromonadaceae, Parabacteroide, 4C0d2, Cyanobacteria, YS2, Parabacteroides distasonis,Bacteroides uniformis, Verrucomicrobiaceae, Verrucomicrobiae, Verrucomicrobiales, Akkermansia, Akkermansia muciniphila, Coprobacillus,Parabacteroides gordonii, Blautia producta, and Ruminococcus torques;and in the DD group are Erysipelotrichales, Erysipelotrichi, and Erysipelothrichaceae. Conclusion:The Tongfuxiezhuo prescription elements of the DD significantly improved the intestinal flora of rats with NAFLD, improving the relative abundance of beneficial bacteria in the intestinal flora of NAFLD rat

Lithium argyrodites with high ionic conductivity and low cost are considered as one of the most prospective solid electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium ***,the poor chemical stability and compatibility with lithium metal limit their ***,Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2solid electrolyte with high ionic conductivity of 11.49 m S cm-1and improved chemical stability is synthesized by iodine *** ultra-thin Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2membrane with thickness of 10μm can be obtained by wet coating process,exhibiting a high ionic conductivity of 2.09 mS cm-1and low areal resistance of 1.17Ω***,iodine doping could in-situ form LiI at the lithium/electrolyte interface and improve the critical current density of Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.6from 0.8 to 1.35 mA *** resultant LiCoO2/Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2/Li battery shows excellent cycling stability at 1 C,with a reversible specific capacity of 110.1 mA h g-1and a retention of 80.5% after 1000 *** addition,the assembled LiCoO2/Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2membrane/Li pouch cell delivers an initial discharge capacity of 110.4 mA h g-1and 80.5% capacity retention after 100 cycles.
