Effect of Moderate Oxygen Preconditioning on Pulmonary Function and Electrophysiological Properties of Hippocampal Neurons in Rats with Lung Cancer

Objective:To observe the effect of moderate oxygen preconditioning on pulmonary function and electrophysiological properties of hippocampal neurons in rats with lung ***:By establishing a lung cancer surgery model in rats,the experimental animals were randomly divided into model group,surgery group,oxygen treatment group A,oxygen treatment group B,and oxygen treatment group *** cancer group was not treated,lung cancer surgery group underwent surgery to remove lung tissue,oxygen treatment group A received oxygen pre-treatment at a concentration of 1-3 L/min,oxygen treatment group B received oxygen pre-treatment at a concentration of 4-5 L/min,and oxygen treatment group C received oxygen pre-treatment at a concentration of 6-8 L/*** operation,Morris water maze behavior was observed,lung function indicators were measured by lung function test,and the amplitude and frequency of micro-excitatory postsynaptic current of hippocampal neurons in rats were detected by electrophysiological membrane ***:Lung cancer surgery would have an effect on the spatial memory in lung cancer rats,and the spatial memory ability of oxygen-treated group A,group B and group C was improved compared with that of the surgery *** 0.3(forced expiratory capacity at0.3 s)and FVC(forced vital capacity)in the oxygen-treated group B were significantly higher than those in the model group,in which the improvement of FEV 0.3 and FVC reached(3.32±0.42)m L and(3.79±0.82)m L,*** FEV 0.3/FVC ratio of87.04±1.44 in oxygen-treated group B was higher than that of the model group and surgery *** post-synaptic current frequency(3.73±0.27)Hz and post-synaptic current(13.74±0.26)p A of oxygen-treated group B were also significantly increased compared to other groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Moderate oxygen preconditioning,especially at a concentration of 4-5 L/min,can exert protective effects on lung and hippocampal neurons in a rat model of lung cancer surgery,helping

A series of Bi^(3+)/Eu^(3+)co-doped Ca_(2)Ta_(2)O_(7)(CTO:Bi^(3+)/Eu^(3+))phosphors were prepared by high-temperature solid-state method for dual-emission center optical thermometers and white light-emitting diode(WLED)*** modulating the doping ratio of Bi^(3+)/Eu^(3+)and utilizing the energy transfer from Bi^(3+)to Eu^(3+),the tunable color emission ranging from green to reddish-orange was *** designed CTO:0.04Bi^(3+)/Eu^(3+)optical thermometers exhibit signifcant thermochromism,superior stability,and repeatability,with maximum sensitivities of Sa=0.055 K^(−1)(at 510 K)and Sr=1.298%K^(−1)(at 480 K)within the temperature range of 300−510 K,owing to the diferent thermal quenching behaviors between Bi^(3+)and Eu^(3+)*** features indicate the potential application prospects of the prepared samples in visualized thermometer or hightemperature safety ***,leveraging the excellent zero-thermal-quenching performance,outstanding acid/alkali resistance,and color stability of CTO:0.04Bi^(3+)/0.16Eu^(3+)phosphor,a WLED device with a high Ra value of 95.3 has been realized through its combination with commercially available blue and green phosphors,thereby demonstrating the potential application of CTO:0.04Bi^(3+)/0.16Eu^(3+)in near-UV pumped WLED devices.

Predictive modeling of photocatalytic NO removal is highly desirable for efficient air pollution ***,great challenges remain in precisely predicting photocatalytic performance and understanding interactions of diverse features in the catalytic ***,a dataset of g-C_(3) N_(4)-based catalysts with 255 data points was collected from peer-reviewed publications and machine learning(ML)model was proposed to predict the NO removal *** result shows that the Gradient Boosting Decision Tree(GBDT)demonstrated the greatest prediction accuracy with R 2 of 0.999 and 0.907 on the training and test data,*** SHAP value and feature importance analysis revealed that the empirical categories for NO removal rate,in the order of importance,were catalyst characteristics>reaction process>preparation ***,the partial dependence plots broke the ML black box to further quantify the marginal contributions of the input features(e.g.,doping ratio,flow rate,and pore volume)to the model output *** ML approach presents a pure data-driven,interpretable framework,which provides new insights into the influence of catalyst characteristics,reaction process,and preparation conditions on NO removal.

Sliding-induced subsurface microstructure evolution is believed to be decisive for determining the friction and wear performance of metallic contacts as well as the development of *** expects to develop a new prediction method of wear state by elucidating the correlation between subsurface microstructure evolution and corresponding magnetic domain ***,subsurface microstructure evolution including crystal and magnetic domain under tribological action is investigated *** results demonstrate that dislocation mediated plastic deformation decisively influences microstructural changes during tribological contact,further determining the magnetic domain ***,sliding-induced plastic deformation causes an increase in the width of magnetic domains,but depth-dependent derived microstructure formed under severe plastic deformation such as the refined grains and sub-grains,in turn,promoted the refinement of magnetic domains and their discontinuity,forming depth-dependent magnetic domain *** results are helpful to clarify the evolution of tribo-magnetization and the pinning effect of dislocations on magnetic domains.

Accurate and efficient urban traffic flow prediction can help drivers identify road traffic conditions in real-time,consequently helping them avoid congestion and accidents to a certain ***,the existing methods for real-time urban traffic flow prediction focus on improving the model prediction accuracy or efficiency while ignoring the training efficiency,which results in a prediction system that lacks the scalability to integrate real-time traffic flow into the training *** conduct accurate and real-time urban traffic flow prediction while considering the latest historical data and avoiding time-consuming online retraining,herein,we propose a scalable system for Predicting short-term URban traffic flow in real-time based on license Plate recognition data(PURP).First,to ensure prediction accuracy,PURP constructs the spatio-temporal contexts of traffic flow prediction from License Plate Recognition(LPR)data as effective ***,to utilize the recent data without retraining the model online,PURP uses the nonparametric method k-Nearest Neighbor(namely KNN)as the prediction framework because the KNN can efficiently identify the top-k most similar spatio-temporal contexts and make predictions based on these contexts without time-consuming model retraining *** experimental results show that PURP retains strong prediction efficiency as the prediction period increases.

Modulating surface charge redistribution based on interface and defect engineering has been considered as a resultful means to boost electrocatalytic ***,the mechanism of synergistic regulation of heterojunction and vacancy defects remains ***,a Vs-CoP-CoS_(2)/C n-n heterojunction with sulfur vacancies is successfully constructed,which manifests superior electrocatalytic activity for oxygen evolution,as demonstrated by a low overpotential of 170 mV to reach 10 mA/cm^(2).The experimental results and density functional theory calculations testify that the outstanding OER performance of Vs-CoP-CoS_(2)/C heterojunction is owed to the synergistic effect of sulfur vacancies and built-in electric field at n-n heterogeneous interface,which accelerates the electron transfer,induces the charge redistribution,and regulates the adsorption energy of active intermediates during the *** study affords a promising means to regulate the electrocatalytic performance by the construction of heterogeneous interfaces and defects,and in-depth explores the synergistic mechanisms of n-n heterojunction and vacancies.

Developing highly active oxygen evolution reaction(OER)electrocatalysts with robust durability is essential in producing high-purity hydrogen through water *** double hydroxide(LDH)based catalysts have demonstrated efficient catalytic performance toward the relatively sluggish *** considering the promotion effect of phosphate(Pi)on proton transfer,herein,a facile phosphate acid(PA)surface-neutralization strategy is developed to in-situ construct NiCo-LDH/NiCoPi hetero-sheets toward OER *** activity of NiCoLDH is significantly boosted due to the proton promotion effect and the electronic modulation effect of *** a result,the facilely prepared NiCo-LDH/NiCoPi catalyst displays superior OER catalytic activity with a low overpotential of 300 mV to deliver 100 mA cm^(-2)OER and a Tafel slope of 73 mV dec^(-1).Furthermore,no visible activity decay is detected after a 200-h continuous OER *** present work,therefore,provides a promising strategy to exploit robust OER electrocatalysts for commercial water electrolysers.
