Macrophages(MΦ) differe ntiate from blood monocytes and participate in innate and adaptive immunity.Because of their abilities to recognize pathogens and activate bactericidal activities,MΦ are always discovered at the site of immune defense.MΦ in the intestine are unique,such that in the healthy intestine,they possess complex mechanisms to protect the gut from inflammation.In these complex mechanisms,they produce anti-inflammatory cytokines,such as interleukin-10 and transforming growth factor-β,and inhibit the inflammatory pathways mediated by Toll-like receptors.It has been demonstrated that resident MΦ play a crucial role in maintaining intestinal homeostasis,and they can be recognized by their unique markers.Nonetheless,in the inflamed intestine,the function of MΦ will change because of environmental variation,which may be one of the mechanisms of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).We provide further explanation about these mechanisms in our review.In addition,we review recent discoveries that MΦ may be involved in the development of gastrointestinal tumors.We will highlight the possible therapeutic targets for the management of IBD and gastrointestinal tumors,and we also discuss why more details are needed to fully understand all other effects of intestinal MΦ.

Facile synthesis of hierarchical NaX zeolite from natural kaolinite for efficient Knoevenagel condensation

Zeolite catalysts have found extensive applications in the synthesis of various fine chemicals.However,the micropores of zeolites impose diffusion limitations on bulky molecules,greatly reducing the catalytic efficiency.Herein,we explore an economic and environmentally friendly method for synthesizing hierarchical NaX zeolite that exhibits improved catalytic performance in the Knoevenagel condensation reaction for producing the useful fine chemical 2-cyano-3-phenylacrylate.The synthesis was achieved via a low-temperature activation of kaolinite and subsequent in-situ transformation strategy without any template or seed.Systematic characterizations reveal that the synthesized NaX zeolite has both intercrystalline and intra-crystalline mesopores,smaller crystal size,and larger external specific surface area compared to commercial NaX zeolite.Detailed mechanism investigations show that the inter-crystalline mesopores are generated by stacking smaller crystals formed from in-situ crystallization of the depolymerized kaolinite,and the intra-crystalline mesopores are inherited from the pores in the depolymerized kaolinite.This synthesis strategy provides an energy-saving and effective way to construct hierarchical zeolites,which may gain wide applications in fine chemical manufacturing.

介绍了基夫赛特直接炼铅法的反应机理过程,并对锌浸出渣的四种常见的处理方法做了比较,对比发现基夫赛特炉法对渣料中铅锌铜银铟等金属的回收率高,铅铜银进入粗铅能更好地进行下一步提炼并且渣料中的硫全部进入竖炉烟气制酸,从根本上消除了单独处理锌浸出渣料产出低浓度含硫烟气的高脱硫成本问题。与常规的湿法炼锌工艺协同处理锌浸出渣,实现了渣的无害化、资源化处理,取得了较好的经济效益,同时消除了因锌浸出渣堆存而对环境潜在的影响。

AIM: To study the effects of entacapone, a catecholO-methyltransferase inhibitor, on colon motility and electrolyte transport in Parkinson's disease(PD) rats.METHODS: Distribution and expression of catecholO-methyltransferase(COMT) were measured by immunohistochemistry and Western blotting methods. The colonic smooth muscle motility was examined in vitroby means of a muscle motility recording device. The mucosal electrolyte transport of PD rats was examined by using a short-circuit current(I SC) technique and scanning ion-selective electrode technique(SIET). Intracellular detection of c AMP and c GMP was accomplished by radioimmunoassay testing. RESULTS: COMT was expressed in the colons of both normal and PD rats, mainly on the apical membranes of villi and crypts in the colon. Compared to normal controls, PD rats expressed less COMT. The COMT inhibitor entacapone inhibited contraction of the PD rat longitudinal muscle in a dose-dependent manner. The β2 adrenoceptor antagonist ICI-118,551 blocked this inhibitory effect by approximately 67%(P < 0.01). Entacapone increased mucosal ISC in the colon of rats with PD. This induction was significantly inhibited by apical application of Cl- channel blocker diphenylamine-2, 2'-dicarboxylic acid, basolateral application of Na+-K+-2Cl-co-transporter antagonist bumetanide, elimination of Cl- from the extracellular fluid, as well as pretreatment using adenylate cyclase inhibitor MDL12330 A. As an inhibitor of prostaglandin synthetase, indomethacin can inhibit entacaponeinduced ISC by 45%(P < 0.01). When SIET was applied to measure Cl- flux changes, this provided similar results. Entacapone significantly increased intracellular c AMP content in the colonic mucosa, which was greatly inhibited by indomethacin.CONCLUSION: COMT expression exists in rat colons. The β2 adrenoceptor is involved in the entacaponeinduced inhibition of colon motility. Entacapone induces c AMP-dependent Cl- secretion in the PD rat.

The combat tasks faced by UAVs are becoming more and more complex.Traditional single UAVs are limited by the constraints of platform load capacity,lightweight load,and insufficient lowpower equipment,so it is difficult to complete complex tasks independently.Aiming at typical UAV collaborative confrontation application scenarios,this paper constructs a multi-agentoriented cluster collaborative intelligent system architecture and establishes a swarm-oriented intelligent UAV cluster collaborative control algorithm.Moreover,this paper forms a simulation environment for UAV cluster collaborative confrontation and completes the design and implementation of the UAV cluster collaborative confrontation system based on swarm intelligence.In addition,this paper analyses the key technologies of the UAV cluster collaborative system with the support of the Internet of Things technology and verifies the performance of the system after constructing the corresponding system.The experimental results show that the system constructed in this paper is effective.

Room temperature sodium-sulfur(Na-S)batteries,known for their high energy density and low cost,are one of the most promising next-generation energy storage systems.However,the polysulfide shuttling and uncontrollable Na dendrite growth as well as safety issues caused by the use of organic liquid electrolytes in Na-S cells,have severely hindered their commercialization.Solid-state electrolytes instead of liquid electrolytes are considered to be the most direct and effective solution to solve the above problems.However,its practical application is still greatly challenged due to the poor interfacial compatibility between the all-solid-state electrolytes and the anode/cathode,ionic conductivity,and the shuttle effect caused by the presence of liquid phase in the quasi-solid-state electrolytes.This paper presents a comprehensive review of solid-state Na-S batteries from the perspective of regulating interfacial compatibility and improving ionic conductivity as well as suppressing polysulfide shuttle.According to different components,solid-state electrolytes were divided into five categories:solid inorganic electrolytes,solid polymer electrolytes,polymer/inorganic solid hybrid electrolytes,gel polymer electrolytes,and liquid–solid inorganic hybrid electrolytes.Finally,the prospect of developing high performance solid-state electrolytes to improve the cycling stability of room temperature Na-S cells is envisaged.

Staggered-grid finite-difference(SGFD)schemes have been widely used in acoustic wave modeling for geophysical problems.Many improved methods are proposed to enhance the accuracy of numerical modeling.However,these methods are inevitably limited by the maximum Courant-Friedrichs-Lewy(CFL)numbers,making them unstable when modeling with large time sampling intervals or small grid spacings.To solve this problem,we extend a stable SGFD scheme by controlling SGFD dispersion relations and maximizing the maximum CFL numbers.First,to improve modeling stability,we minimize the error between the FD dispersion relation and the exact relation in the given wave-number region,and make the FD dispersion approach a given function outside the given wave-number area,thus breaking the conventional limits of the maximum CFL number.Second,to obtain high modeling accuracy,we use the SGFD scheme based on the Remez algorithm to compute the FD coefficients.In addition,the hybrid absorbing boundary condition is adopted to suppress boundary reflections and we find a suitable weighting coefficient for the proposed scheme.Theoretical derivation and numerical modeling demonstrate that the proposed scheme can maintain high accuracy in the modeling process and the value of the maximum CFL number of the proposed scheme can exceed that of the conventional SGFD scheme when adopting a small maximum effective wavenumber,indicating that the proposed scheme improves stability during the modeling.

Cuproptosis,a novel mechanism of programmed cell death,has not been fully explored in the context of spermatogenic cells.Thisstudy investigated the potential involvement of cuproptosis in spermatogenic cell death using a mouse model of copper overload.Sixty male Institute of Cancer Research(ICR)mice were randomly divided into four groups that received daily oral gavage withsodium chloride(control)or copper sulfate(CuSO4)at 50 mg kg−1,100 mg kg−1,or 200 mg kg−1,for 42 consecutive days.Micesubjected to copper overload exhibited a disruption in copper homeostasis.Additionally,significant upregulated expression of keycuproptosis factors was accompanied by a significant rise in the rates of testicular tissue cell apoptosis.Immunohistochemicalanalysis revealed the presence of ferredoxin 1(Fdx1)in Sertoli cells,Leydig cells,and spermatogenic cells at various stages oftesticular development,and the Fdx1-positive staining area was significantly increased in copper-overloaded mice.Mitochondrialdysfunction and decreased adenosine triphosphate levels were also observed,further implicating mitochondrial damage undercuproptosis.Further analyses revealed pathological lesions and blood−testis barrier destruction in the testicular tissue,accompaniedby decreased sperm concentration and motility,in copper-overloaded mice.In summary,our results indicate that copper-overloadedmice exhibit copper homeostasis disorder in the testicular tissue and that cuproptosis participates in spermatogenic cell death.These findings provide novel insights into the pathogenic mechanisms underlying spermatogenic cell death and provide initialexperimental evidence for the occurrence of cuproptosis in the testis.

Characteristics and stability of oxide+carbonitride in H13 steel at 1250℃

The morphology,size,quantity,and composition of complex oxide+carbonitride in H13 steel held at 1250℃for 5,10,and 15 h were determined.The results show that the ratio and number of complex carbonitrides with cores in H13 steel are gradually increased when holding at 1250℃compared with those in the original H13 steel,and the core size increases.There are one or more oxide cores in(Ti_(x),V_(1-x))(Cy,N_(1-y)),including xCaO·zAl_(2)O_(3),xCaO·yMgO·zAl_(2)O_(3),and CaO after holding at 1250℃,in addition to MgO·Al_(2)O_(3)and Al_(2)O_(3)in the original steel.The equilibrium temperature for(Ti_(x),V_(1-x))(Cy,N_(1-y))precipitation at the solidification front and decomposition in the solid state was theoretically analyzed,which was affected by the x value and the product of Ti and N contents in H13 steel.Meanwhile,the composition of(Ti_(x),V_(1-x))(Cy,N_(1-y))is influenced by the oxide cores.It is convinced that(Ti_(x),V_(1-x))(Cy,N_(1-y))with oxide cores has a higher stability,especially for oxides with a high Al_(2)O_(3)content.Heat treatment at high temperature facilitates a more reasonable analysis of oxide+carbonitride,and the generation mechanism of oxide+carbonitride was discussed.
