In mountainous rural settlements facing the threat of geohazards,local adaptation is a self-organizing process influenced by individual and group behaviors.Encouraging a wide range of local populations to embrace geohazard adaptation strategies emerges as a potent means of mitigating disaster risks.The purpose of this study was to investigate whether neighbors influence individuals'adaptation decisions,as well as to unravel the mechanisms through which neighborhood effects exert their influence.We employed a spatial Durbin model and a series of robustness checks to confirm the results.The dataset used in this research came from a face-to-face survey involving 516 respondents residing in 32 rural settlements highly susceptible to geohazards.Our empirical results reveal that neighborhood effects are an important determinant of adaptation to geohazards.That is,a farmer's adaptation decision is influenced by the adaptation choices of his/her neighbors.Furthermore,when neighbors adopt adaptation strategies,the focal individuals may also want to adapt,both because they learn from their neighbors'choices(social learning)and because they tend to abide by the majority's choice(social norms).Incorporating neighborhood effects into geohazard adaptation studies offers a new perspective for promoting disaster risk reduction decision making.

BACKGROUND Acute kidney injury(AKI) after coronary angiography(CAG) and primary percutaneous coronary intervention(PPCI) is frequently observed, and often interpreted as contrast induced-AKI. This study aimed to investigate the incidence, predictors and outcomes of AKI in acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI) patients undergoing emergent CAG/PPCI using the control group of STEMI patients who were not exposed to contrast agents within the first 72 h.METHODS We performed a retrospective analysis of 1670 STEMI patients. Of them, 673 patients underwent emergent CAG/PPCI, and 997 patients treated with thrombolysis or no reperfusion therapy who were not exposed to contrast material during the first 72 h. AKI was defined as an increase of serum creatinine ≥ 44.2 mmol/L or ≥ 25% from baseline within 72 h. Patents were then followed up for the occurrence of all-cause mortality for 40 months(interquartile range: 24–55 months).RESULTS After propensity score matching, 505 pairs of patients were matched. Overall, the incidence of AKI was 27.4%, and AKI rates were not significantly different in patients with and without emergent CAG/PPCI procedure(27.5% vs. 27.3%, P = 0.944). Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified that the independent predictors of AKI were female, elevated interleukin-6 level,decreased lymphocyte count, left ventricular ejection fraction < 50% and use of diuretics in patients with emergent CAG/PPCI. Patients with AKI than those without AKI experienced higher incidence of acute heart failure with Killip class Ⅲ(9.4% vs. 3.3%, P =0.005;15.2% vs. 6.8%, P = 0.003, respectively) and mortality(5.8% vs. 1.4%, P = 0.014;12.3% vs. 4.6%, P = 0.002, respectively) in patients with and without emergent CAG/PPCI. Multivariate Cox regression analysis confirmed that AKI was independently associated with long-term mortality rate at 40 months follow-up in patients with and without emergent CAG/PPCI(HR = 1.867, 95% CI:1.086–3.210, P = 0.024;HR = 1.700, 95% CI: 1.219–2.370, P = 0.002, respectively

BACKGROUND Prealbumin is considered to be a useful indicator of nutritional status. Furthermore, it has been found to be associated with severities and prognosis of a range of diseases. However, limited data on the association of baseline prealbumin level with outcomes of patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI) are available.METHODS We analyzed 2313 patients admitted for acute STEMI between October 2013 and December 2020. In-hospital outcomes and mortality during the 49 months(interquartile range: 26–73 months) follow-up period were compared between patients with the low prealbumin level(< 170 mg/L) and those with the high prealbumin level(≥ 170 mg/L).RESULTS A total of 114 patients(4.9%) died during hospitalization. After propensity score matching, patients with the low prealbumin level than those with the high prealbumin level experienced higher incidences of heart failure with Killip class Ⅲ(9.9%vs. 4.4%, P = 0.034), cardiovascular death(8.4% vs. 3.4%, P = 0.035) and the composite of major adverse cardiovascular events(19.2%vs. 10.3%, P = 0.012). Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified that the low prealbumin level(< 170 mg/L) was an independent predictor of in-hospital major adverse cardiovascular events(odds ratio = 1.918, 95% CI: 1.250–2.942, P = 0.003). The cutoff value of prealbumin level for predicting in-hospital death was 170 mg/L(area under the curve = 0.703, 95% CI: 0.651–0.754, P< 0.001;sensitivity = 0.544, specificity = 0.794). However, after multivariate adjustment of possible confounders, baseline prealbumin level(170 mg/L) was no longer independently associated with 49-month cardiovascular death. After propensity score matching, Kaplan-Meier survival curves revealed consistent results.CONCLUSIONS Decreased prealbumin level closely related to unfavorable short-term outcomes. However, after multivariate adjustment and controlling for baseline differences, baseline prealbumin level was not independently associated with an increased risk of long-term cardio

Deregulation of the phosphatidylinositide 3-kinase(PI3K) and mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR) signaling pathway occurs frequently in a wide range of human cancers and is a major driving force in tumorigenesis.Thus,small molecules targeting this pathway are under active development as anticancer therapeutics.Although small-molecule inhibitors of the PI3K-mTOR pathway have shown promising clinical efficacy against human cancers,the emergence of drug resistance may limit their success in the clinic.To date,several resistance mechanisms,including both PI3K-dependent and-independent mechanisms,have been described.Here,we summarize the current understanding of resistance mechanisms to PI3K-mTOR inhibitors and discuss potential strategies for overcoming resistance for potential clinical application.

Magnetic gear is a transmission device with novel structure.It uses the principle of magnetic field modulation to transmit torque.In view of the magnetic leakage of the magnetic gear in the process of rotation and cannot be eliminated,a magnetic gear model with auxiliary silicon steel sheet is proposed.Based on the conventional magnetic gear structure,the silicon steel sheet is placed outside the permanent magnet of the outer rotor.The magnetization mode of the outer rotor permanent magnet is tangential magnetization,and the spoke structure is adopted,and the inner rotor PMs is surface mounted and magnetized in the radial magnetization.The improved model is simulated by finite element method under three-dimensional conditions,and the electromagnetic performances of the model are optimized.Compared with the conventional magnetic gear model,the improved model has good performance,which improves the transmission capacity of output torque and reduces torque ripple.It is a great significance to improve the performance of magnetic gear.

Evaluation of Green Development Level of Electric Energy in Distribution Network Based on Multilevel Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation

Prevalent copy number alteration(CNA) is the most prominent genetic characteristic associated with ovarian cancer(OV) development,but its role in immune evasion has not been fully elucidated.In this study,we identified RAD21,a key component of the cohesin complex,as a frequently amplified oncogene that could modulate immnue response in OV.Through interrogating RAD21-regulated transcriptional program we found that RAD21 directly interacts with YAP/TEAD4 transcriptional co-repressors and recruits NuRD complex to suppress interferon(IFN) signaling.In multiple clinical cohorts,RAD21 overexpression is inversely correlated with IFN signature gene expression in OV.We further demonstrated in murine syngeneic tumor models that RAD21 ablation potentiated anti-PD-1 efficacy with increased intratumoral CD8+ T-cell effector activity.Our study identified a previously unrecognized RAD21-YAP/TEAD4-NuRD co-repressor complex in immune modulation,and thus provided a potential target and biomarker for precision immunotherapy in OV.

At present,there are few studies on the comprehensive evaluation of green power grid development in China,and all aspects of green power grid need to be evaluated.Therefore,this paper studies the green development level of power distribution network.This paper proposes a multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,which first needs to classify the influencing factors.Therefore,this paper constructs an indicator system for the evaluation of green development of power distribution network from three dimensions.In order to avoid the influence of subjective factors,this paper adopts the model combining analytic hierarchy process and entropy weight method to give weight to indexes.Finally,five typical regions are selected for empirical analysis.The results show that the model established in this paper can reflect the green development level of power distribution network in each region and put forward relevant improvement suggestions for each region.

This study is aimed at exploring a technology that can use the human physiological information,such as Force Myography(FMG)signals to provide sensory feedback to prosthetic hand users.This is based on the principle that with the intent to move the prosthetic hand,the existing limbs in the arm recruit specific group of muscles.These muscles react with a change in the cross-sectional area;piezoelectric sensors placed on these muscles will generate a voltage(FMG signals),in response to the change in muscle volume.The correlation between the amplitude of the FMG signals and intensity of pressure on fingertips during grasping is then computed and a dynamic relation(model)is established through system identification in MATLAB.The estimated models generated a fitting accuracy of more than 80%.The model is then programmed into the Arduino microcontroller,so that a real-time and proportional force feedback is channeled to amputees through a micro actuator.Obtaining such percentages of accuracy in sensory feedback without relying on touch sensors on the prosthetic hand that could be affected by mechanical wear and other interaction factors is promising.Applying advanced signal processing and classification techniques may also refine the findings to better capture and correlate the force variations with the sensory feedback.

The oxide dispersion strengthened Mo alloys(ODS-Mo)prepared by traditional ball milling and subsequent sintering technique generally possess comparatively coarse Mo grains and large oxide particles at Mo grain boundaries(GBs),which obviously suppress the corresponding strengthening effect of oxide addition.In this work,the Y_(2)O_(3) and TiC particles were simultaneously doped into Mo alloys using ball-milling and subsequent low temperature sintering.Accompanied by TiC addition,the Mo-Y_(2)O_(3) grains are sharply refined from 3.12 to 1.36μm.In particular,Y_(2)O_(3) and TiC can form smaller Y-Ti-O-C quaternary phase particles(~230 nm)at Mo GBs compared to single Y_(2)O_(3) particles(~420 nm),so as to these new formed Y-Ti-O-C particles can more effectively pin and hinder GBs movement.In addition to Y-Ti-O-C particles at GBs,Y_(2)O_(3),TiOx,and TiCx nanoparticles(tantly,the Mo-Y_(2)O_(3)-TiC alloys exhibit higher hardness(HV0.2(425±25))compared to Mo-Y_(2)O_(3) alloys(HV0.2(370±25)).This work could provide a relevant strategy for the preparation of ultrafine Mo alloys by facile ball-milling.

In the present work a new thermal conductivity model is developed for two-phase composite materials,which are consisted of a continuous matrix and dispersed 3 D-particles separated from each other by the matrix as a function of grain size and volume ratio of the dispersed particles at different temperatures.The model is applied to reproduce experimental thermal conductivity values of cemented carbide systems WC-Co and WC-Ag.Good agreement was found between measured thermal conductivity data originating from both this work and recent literature and the calculated ones only using semi-empirical parameters for the interfacial thermal resistance(ITR)values at WC/Co,WC/Ag and WC/WC interfaces as a function of temperature.Additionally,the temperature and grain size dependence of the thermal conductivity for WC is established for the first time.The model works well for the case when the matrix(Ag)has a higher thermal conductivity compared to that of the WC particles and also for the case when the matrix(Co)has a lower thermal conductivity compared to that of the WC particles.The new model forms a physically sound basis for further development/materials design of cemented carbides and particlereinforced composite materials.
