Quantum heat engines and refrigerators are open quantum systems,whose dynamics can be well understood using a non-Hermitian formalism.A prominent feature of non-Hermiticity is the existence of exceptional points(EPs),which has no counterpart in closed quantum *** has been shown in classical systems that dynamical encirclement in the vicinity of an EP,whether the loop includes the EP or not,could lead to chiral mode ***,we show that this is valid also for quantum systems when dynamical encircling is performed in the vicinity of their Liouvillian EPs(LEPs),which include the effects of quantum jumps and associated noise—an important quantum feature not present in previous *** demonstrate,using a Paul-trapped ultracold ion,the first chiral quantum heating and refrigeration by dynamically encircling a closed loop in the vicinity of an *** witness the cycling direction to be associated with the chirality and heat release(absorption)of the quantum heat engine(quantum refrigerator).Our experiments have revealed that not only the adiabaticity breakdown but also the Landau–Zener–Stückelberg process play an essential role during dynamic encircling,resulting in chiral thermodynamic *** observations contribute to further understanding of chiral and topological features in non-Hermitian systems and pave a way to exploring the relation between chirality and quantum thermodynamics.

The DNA sequence encoding the chicken＇s insulin-like growth factor Ⅰ （IGF-Ⅰ） was amplified with the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR）, which was then cloned into vector pMD18-T and sequenced. The sequencing result showed that there was 100% homology among the documented sequences and the sequence reported in this article, which was successfully inserted into the expressing plasmid pRLC and was highly expressed in ***. The Tricine-SDS- PAGE result showed that the cloned recombinant protein was expressed in the form of inclusion bodies in the *** cell with molecular weight of 7.6 kD and was amount to 23% of the whole protein in the *** cell. Western blotting indicated that recombinant protein had the antigenicity of IGF- Ⅰ. The inclusion bodies were subsequently dissolved in 7 M guanidine chloride and renatured with dilution in refolding buffer containing 0.5 M arginine. To obtain pure protein, the renatured chicken IGF- Ⅰ was desalting by Hiprep 26/10 and purified by Hiprep Sephacryl S-200 chromatography. The biological activities of IGF- Ⅰ product were assayed in NIH 3T3 cells and osteoblastic cells of embryonic chicken by using MTT method. The results show that the expressed IGF- Ⅰ can obviously stimulate NIH3T3 cells and osteoblastic cells to proliferate at the concentration ranging from 100, 200, 400 to 800 ng mL^-1, suggesting that the protein has its biological activities.

Realtime trigger and localization of bursts are the key functions of GECAM,an all-sky gamma-ray monitor launched on 2020 December *** developed a multifunctional trigger and localization software operating in the CPU of the GECAM Electronic *** onboard software has the following features:high trigger efficiency for real celestial bursts with a suppression of false triggers caused by charged particle bursts and background fluctuation,dedicated localization algorithm optimized for both short and long bursts,and low time latency of the trigger information which is downlinked through the Global Short Message Communication service of the global BeiDou navigation *** paper provides a detailed description of the design and development of the trigger and localization software system for *** covers the general design,workflow,the main functions,and the algorithms used in the *** paper also includes on-ground trigger tests using simulated gamma-ray bursts generated by a dedicated X-ray tube,as well as an overview of the performance for real celestial bursts during its in-orbit operation.

The evolution of the microstructure and mechanical properties of alloy system with nominally composition Mg-5Li-1Zn-0.5Ag-0.5Zr-xGd(x=0,1.2,2.4,3.6,4.8,6)is evaluated based on computational phase diagram and corresponding experimental *** results show that grains are significantly refined with the increase of Gd *** main phases of as-cast alloys areα-Mg,β-Li,AgLi_(2)Mg,and Mg_(3)*** the increase of Gd content,the amounts of Mg_(3)Gd phase andβ-Li phase have been *** the Gd content exceeds 3.6 wt%,Mg_(3)Gd phase precipitates in a form of the network at the grain *** precipitation ofβ-Li can be attributed to the competitive dissolution of Zn,Gd,and Li in ***,γ″is formed after the addition of Gd,which grows and transforms intoγ′with the increase of Gd *** solidification process,stacking faults are formed by solid transformation of partialα-Mg and Mg_(3)***,with the synergistic effect of Mg_(3)Gd,β-Li,andγ″(orγ′),as the Gd content increasing,the tensile strength of the alloy first increases,then decreases,and the elongation *** the content of Gd is 4.8 wt%,the ultimate tensile strength and yield strength reach the maximum values of 227 MPa and 139 MPa,and the elongation is 18.1%,respectively.

AIM: To explore the relationship between the level of proinsulin with cardiovascular risk factors and sleep ***: Based on the random stratified sampling principle, 1 193 Chinese residents in Pizhou City, jiangsu Province (530 males and 663 females, aged 35-59 years with an average age of 46.69 years) were recruited. Their sleep snoring habits were investigated. Biotin-avidin based double mAbs ELISA was used to detect specific insulin and proinsulin, and a risk factor score was established to evaluate the individuals according to the number of their risk ***: The results of Spearman correlation analysis and covariate ANOVA analysis after age and sex were controlled, indicated that not only the level of proinsulin (r = 0.156, P = 0.000, F= 5.980 P = 0.000), but also cardiovascular risk factors score (r = 0.194, P = 0.000,F= 11.135, P = 0.000) significantly associated with the frequency of sleep snoring, and the significant relationship between true insulin and frequency of sleep snoring was only shown in the covariate ANOVA analysis (F = 2.868,P = 0.022). The result of multivariate stepwise logistic regression after age, sex, body mass index, waist circumference and true insulin were controlled showed that proinsulin (division by interval of quartile) was an independent risk factor for sleep snoring (OR = 1.220,95%CI: 1.085-1.373, P = 0.001).CONCLUSION: The interaction of cardiovascular risk factors clustering, high proinsulin level and sleep breathing disorder may be a syndrome, which has not been recognized in human beings so far.

The electron mediator can effectively improve the performance of the direct Z-scheme heterojunction photocatalysts. However, it is still a great challenge to select cheap and efficient electron mediators and to design them into the Z-scheme photocatalytic system. In the present paper, the g-C_(3)N_(4)/CNTs/CdZnS Z-scheme photocatalyst was prepared using carbon nanotubes(CNTs) as the electron mediators, and its photocatalytic hydrogen production performance was studied. Compared with single-phase g-C_(3)N_(4),CdZnS and biphasic g-C_(3)N_(4)/CdZnS photocatalysts, the photocatalytic hydrogen production performance of the prepared g-C_(3)N_(4)/CNTs/CdZnS has been significantly enhanced. Meanwhile, g-C_(3)N_(4)/CNTs/CdZnS possesses very good photocatalytic hydrogen production stability. The enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen production performance of g-C_(3)N_(4)/CNTs/CdZnS is attributed to the fact that CNTs, as an electron mediator,can accelerate the recombination of the photogenerated holes in the valence band of g-C_(3)N_(4) and the photogenerated electrons in the conduction band of CdZnS, which makes the g-C_(3)N_(4)/CNTs/CdZnS Zscheme photocatalyst be easier to escape the photogenerated electrons, increases the concentration of the photogenerated carriers and prolongs the lifetime of the photogenerated carriers. This work provides a theoretical basis for the further development and design of CNTs as the intermediate electron mediator of the Z-scheme heterojunction photocatalyst.
