Cloud computing provides powerful processing capabilities for large-scale intelligent Internet of things(IoT)***,the massive realtime data processing requirements challenge the existing cloud computing *** edge server is closer to the data *** end-edge-cloud collaboration offloads the cloud computing tasks to the edge environment,which solves the shortcomings of the cloud in resource storage,computing performance,and energy *** terminals and sensors have caused security and privacy challenges due to resource constraints and exponential *** the key technology of IoT,Radio-Frequency Identification(RFID)authentication protocol tremendously strengthens privacy protection and improves IoT ***,it inevitably increases system overhead while improving security,which is a major blow to low-cost RFID *** existing RFID authentication protocols are difficult to balance overhead and *** paper designs an ultra-lightweight encryption function and proposes an RFID authentication scheme based on this function for the end-edge-cloud collaborative *** BAN logic proof and protocol verification tools AVISPA formally verify the protocol’s *** use VIVADO to implement the encryption function and tag’s overhead on the FPGA *** evaluation indicates that the proposed protocol balances low computing costs and high-security requirements.

With the modernization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),the requirement for quality control has *** quality marker(Q-marker)is an important standard in this field and has been implemented with remarkable success in recent ***,the establishment of Qmarkers remains fragmented and the process lacks systematicity,resulting in inconsistent quality control and insufficient correlation with clinical efficacy and safety of *** review introduces four multimodal integrated approaches that contribute to the discovery of more comprehensive and accurate Qmarkers,thus aiding in the establishment of new quality control patterns based on the characteristics and principles of *** include the whole-process quality control strategy,chemical-activity-based screening method,efficacy,safety,and consistent combination strategy,and TCM theory-guided ***,methodologies and representative examples of these strategies are described,and important future directions and questions in this field are also proposed.

Gallium isotope is a potential geochemical tool for understanding planetary processes,environmental pollution,and ore deposit *** reported Ga isotope compositions(δ^(71)Ga NIST994 values)of some international geological standards,such as BCR-2 and BHVO-2 basalts,exhibit inconsistencies between diff erent *** mass spectrometry analysis,we found thatδ^(71)Ga NIST994 values of geological standards with or without the correction of the interference of^(138)Ba^(2+)(mass/charge ratio=69)on 69 Ga show signifi cant isotope off sets,and thus effi cient separation of Ba and correcting the interference of^(138)Ba^(2+)are both crucial to obtain accurateδ^(71)Ga *** comparingδ^(71)Ga NIST994 values(relative to NIST SRM 994 Ga)of the same geostandards from diff erent laboratories,we suggest that the isotopic heterogeneity from NIST SRM 994 Ga is one of the key reasons for the inconsistencies inδ^(71)Ga NIST994 values of BCR-2 and *** facilitate inter-laboratory comparisons,we measured the Ga isotopic compositions of 11 geological reference materials(including Pb-Zn ore,bauxite,igneous rocks,and loess)and two Ga solution standards(NIST SRM 3119a and Alfa Aesar).Theδ^(71)Ga NIST994 andδ^(71)Ga IPGP values of these reference materials vary from 1.12‰to 2.63‰and−0.13‰to 1.38‰,respectively,and can be used to evaluate the precision and accuracy of Ga isotope data from diff erent laboratories.

Despite the long tradition of fossil carbon(coal,char,and related carbon-based materials)for fueling mankind,the science of transforming them into chemicals is still demandingly progressing in the current energy scenario,especially when considering its responsibilities to the global climate ***,there are four routes of preparing chemicals directly from fossil carbon,including hydrogasification,gasification,direct liquefaction,and oxidation,in the macroscope of gas-solid reaction(hydrogasification and gasification)and liquid-solid reaction(direct liquefaction and oxidation).When the study goes to microscale,the gas-solid reaction can be considered as the reaction between the severe condensed radicals and gas,while the liquid-solid reaction is the direct reaction between the radical and the *** have a full overview of the area,this review systematically summarizes the main factors in these processes and shows our own perspectives as follows,(ⅰ)stabilizing the free radicals generated from coal and then directly converting them has the highest efficiency in coal utilization;(ⅱ)the research on the self-catalytic process of coal structure will have a profound impact on the direct preparation of chemicals from fossil *** discussions are also proposed to guide the future study of the area into a more sustainable direction.

Contribution of ultrasonic surface rolling process to the fatigue properties of TB8 alloy with body-centered cubic structure

The effect of ultrasonic surface rolling process(USRP) as a severe plastic deformation technology was investigated on the evolution of microstructure, residual stress and surface morphology of TB8 alloys with body-centered cubic structure. Stress-controlled rotating-bending fatigue tests indicated increased fatigue strength in USRP samples prepared using different number of passes compared to the base material, which was attributed to the presence of gradient structure surface layers. Five subsequent USRP passes resulted in the highest fatigue strength, due to the optimal surface properties including higher extent of grain refinement, larger compressive residual stresses, "smoother" surface morphology and increased micro-hardness. However, the effect of USRP technology on improving fatigue strength of TB8 alloy was not significant in comparison with that of other titanium alloys(for example, Ti6 Al4 V), which was attributed to the notable surface residual stresses relaxation revealed from measurements on postfatigued USRP samples. Electron backscatter diffraction analysis confirmed that fatigue crack initiation occurred in the larger grains on the surface with high Schmid factor. Small cracks were found to propagate into the core material in a mixed transgranular and intergranular mode. Further analysis indicated that grain growth existed in post-fatigued USRP-treated TB8 samples and that the average geometrically necessary dislocations value reduced after fatigue loading.

The couple of radiation with convection heating owned advantages of less energy utilization,healthier and more comfortable indoor ***,local thermal discomfort was often induced by large vertical temperature difference and radiation asymmetry *** work studied indoor thermal environment characteristics under different coupling ways of radiation and convection heating terminals through experiments and CFD *** studied five scenarios were denoted as:(Ⅰ)lateral air supply+adjacent side wall radiation,(Ⅱ)lateral air supply+opposite side wall radiation,(Ⅲ)lateral air supply+floor radiation,(Ⅳ)lateral air supply+adjacent side wall radiation+floor radiation,and(Ⅴ)lateral air supply+opposite side wall radiation+floor *** overall thermal comfort indices(including air diffusion performance index(ADPI),predicted mean vote(PMV),and predicted percent of dissatisfaction(PPD))and local thermal comfort indices under different scenarios were *** Scenarios Ⅰ-Ⅲ,the local dissatisfaction rates caused by vertical air temperature difference were 0.4%,0.1%,and 0.2%,respectively,which belonged to"A”class according to the ISO-7730 *** the vertical asymmetric radiation temperature of Scenario Ⅰ-Ⅱ was about 6.5℃ lower than that of Scenario Ⅲ-Ⅳ-Ⅴ.The ADPI for Scenarios Ⅲ-Ⅴ were about respectively 5.7%,16.7%,and 21.0%higher than that of Scenarios Ⅰ-Ⅱ,indicating that a large radiation area and radiation angle coefficient could reduce the discomfort caused by radiant temperature *** coupling mode improved local discomfort by decreasing vertical temperature difference and radiation asymmetry temperature wherefore improving the PMV from-1.6 *** lateral air supply coupled with asymmetric radiation heating could potentially improve the thermal comfort of occupied area,while the comprehensive effect of thermal environmental improvement,energy-saving,and cost-effectiveness needes to be further investigated.

This three-year study, based on the Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Disease （GRID）, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease （COPD） Biobank, was conducted in 36 COPD patients to estimate whether changes in levels of leukocytes, erythrocytes, hemoglobin, and platelets were related to changes in air pollutant concentration. Daily NO2 levels exhibited significant differences between baseline years and the 2010 Asian Game period. We observed significant reductions in leukocyte and neutrophils counts levels, by 15.51% and 23.01%, from pre-Asian Games to during-Asian Games, respectively. In the post-Asian Game period, most pollutants approximated pre-Asian Game period levels, and similar effects were demonstrated in leukocyte and neutrophil counts. For both items, we identified significant increases resulting from elevated NO2 at lag days 0-2/5-6. We concluded that reductions in pollutants during the intervention period were associated with inactivation of hematological events in COPD.

2D thermo-mechanical models are constructed to investigate the effects of oceanic and continental crustal eclogitization on plate dynamics at three successive stages of oceanic subduction, slab breakoff, and continental subduction. Crustal eclogitization directly increases the average slab density and accordingly the slab pull force, which makes the slab subduct deeply and steeply. Numerical results demonstrate that the duration time from initial continental collision to slab breakoff largely depends on the slab pull force. Specifically, eclogitization of subducted crust can greatly decrease the duration time, but increase the breakoff depth. The detachment of oceanic slab from the pro-continental lithosphere is accompanied with obvious exhumation of the subducted continental crust and a sharp uplift of the collision zone in response to the disappearance of downward drag force and the induced asthenospheric upwelling, especially under the condition of no or incomplete crustal eclogitization. During continental subduction, the slab dip angle is strongly correlated with eclogitization of subducted continental lower crust, which regulates the slab buoyancy nature. Our model results can provide several important implications for the Himalayan-Tibetan collision zone. For example, it is possible that the lateral variations in the degree of eclogitization of the subducted Indian crust might to some extent contribute to the lateral variations of subduction angle along the Himalayan orogenic belt. Moreover, the accumulation of highly radiogenic sediments and upper continental crustal materials at the active margin in combination with the strong shear heating due to continuous continental subduction together cause rising of isotherms in the accretionary wedge, which facilitate the development of crustal partial melting and metamorphism.

The 3D morphologies and growth mechanisms of proeutectic FeAl_(3) at the Al/Fe interface under different cooling rates were studied by synchrotron X-ray *** increasing cooling rate,FeAl_(3) crystals developed from faceted polygonal prism,plates with flat surface,thin ribbon-like with periodic undulating surface to non-faceted rods with radial dendrites in cross section,indicating a gradual interface growth mode transition from two-dimensional layer growth to continuous *** a higher cooling rate,twinning mechanism plays a leading role in the formation and growth of FeAl_(3).A link between the morphologies,twinning and crystallographic structure was established based on quantitative analyses on the 3D structures.
