X-ray detection is crucial across various sectors,but traditional techniques face challenges such as inefficient data transmission,redundant sensing,high power consumption,and *** innovative idea of a retinomorphic X-ray detector shows great ***,its implementation has been hindered by the absence of active layers capable of both detecting X-rays and serving as memory *** response to this critical gap,our study integrates hybrid perovskite with hydrion-conductive organic cations to develop a groundbreaking retinomorphic X-ray *** novel device stands at the nexus of technological innovation,utilizing X-ray detection,memory,and preprocessing capabilities within a single hardware *** core mechanism underlying this innovation lies in the transport of electrons and holes within the metal halide octahedral frameworks,enabling precise X-ray ***,the hydrion movement through organic cations endows the device with short-term resistive memory,facilitating rapid data processing and ***,our retinomorphic X-ray detector boasts an array of formidable features,including reconfigurable shortterm memory,a linear response curve,and an extended retention *** practical terms,this translates into the efficient capture of motion projections with minimal redundant data,achieving a compression ratio of 18.06%and an impressive recognition accuracy of up to 98.6%.In essence,our prototype represents a paradigm shift in X-ray detection *** its transformative capabilities,this retinomorphic hardware is poised to revolutionize the existing X-ray detection landscape.

The metal halide perovskites exhibit excellent performance as the direct X-ray detectors owing to their strong absorption capability,long carrier lifetime and diffusion length,radiation ruggedness,*** imaging applications,the ionic migration of perovskites and charge sharing effect between the adjacent pixels have a significantly negative impact on the spatial ***,for the first time,the porous anodic aluminum oxides(AAO)have been used as a template to grow the CsPbBr2I thick film for the direct X-ray *** from the oxygen passivation effect,the activation energy for ionic migration has been observed to increase to 0.701 eV,whereas the dark current drift(1.01×10^(-5)nA cm^(-1)s^(-1)V^(-1))is one to two orders of magnitude lower than the other lead halide perovskite single crystals and ***,the AAO insulating wall effectively blocks the charge diffusion effect across a pixel pitch of 10^***,the findings reported in this study open a new route for reducing the ionic migration and pixel crosstalk,thus,bringing the perovskite X-ray detectors close to the practical applications.

Direct X-ray detectors based on semiconductors have drawn great attention from researchers in the pursuing of higher imaging ***,many previous works focused on the optimization of detection performances but seldomly watch them in an overall view and analyze how they will influence the detective quantum efficiency（DQE） ***,we propose a numerical model which shows the quantitative relationship between DQE and the properties of X-ray detectors and electric *** results point out that pursuing high sensitivity only is *** reduce the medical X-ray dose by 80%,the requirement for X-ray sensitivity is only at a magnitude of 10～3 μCGy-1·*** achieve the DQE=0.7 at X-ray sensitivity air from 1248 to 8171 μCGy-1air·cm-2,the requirements on dark current density ranges from 10 to 100 nA·cm-2and the fluctuation of current density should fall in 0.21 to 1.37 nA·cm-2.

X-ray detection is of great significance in biomedical,nondestructive,and scientific *** halide perovskites have recently emerged as one of the most promising materials for direct X-ray ***,the lead toxicity remains a worrisome concern for further commercial *** efforts have been made to search for lead-free perovskites with similar optoelectronic ***,we present a lead-free oxide double perovskite material Ba2AgIO6 for X-ray *** lead-free,all-inorganic nature,as well as the high density of Ba2AgIO6,promises excellent prospects in X-ray *** employing the hydrothermal method,we successfully synthesized highly crystalline Ba2AgIO6 powder with pure ***,we prepared Ba2AgIO6 wafers through isostatic pressure and built X-ray detectors with Au/Ba2AgIO6 wafer/Au photoconductive *** as-prepared X-ray detectors showed a sensitivity of 18.9μC/(Gyair$cm2)at 5 V/mm,similar to commercialα-Se detectors showcasing their advantages for X-ray detection.

Metal halide perovskites(MHPs)have demonstrated excellent performances in detection of X-rays and *** studies focus on improving the sensitivity of single-pixel MHP ***,little work pays attention to the dark current,which is crucial for the back-end circuit ***,the requirement of dark current is quantitatively evaluated as low as 10^(−9)A/cm^(2)for X-ray imagers integrated on pixel ***,through the semiconductor device analysis and simulation,we reveal that the main current compositions of thick perovskite X-ray detectors are the thermionic-emission current(J_(T))and the generation-recombination current(J_(g-r)).The typical observed failures of p-n junctions in thick detectors are caused by the high generation-recombination current due to the band mismatch and interface *** work provides a deep insight into the design of high sensitivity and low dark current perovskite X-ray detectors.

Direct X-ray detectors are considered as competitive next-generation X-ray detectors because of their high spatial resolution,high sensitivity,and simple device ***,their potential is largely limited by the imperfections of traditional materials,such as the low crystallization temperature of α-Se and the low atomic numbers of α-Si and α-***,we report the Sb_(2)Se_(3) X-ray thin-film detector with a p-n junction structure,which exhibited a sensitivity of 106.3 μC/(Gyair·cm^(2))and response time of<2.5 *** decent performance and the various advantages of Sb_(2)Se_(3),such as the average atomic number of 40.8 and μτ product(μ is the mobility,and τ is the carrier lifetime)of 1.29×1O^(-5) cm^(2)/V,indicate its potential for application in X-ray detection.

Suitable temperature and light intensity play important roles in the formation of harmful algae blooms(HABs),which can pose serious threats to aquatic ecosystems and human *** this study,we measured the growth,physiological function,and paralytic shellfish toxins(PSTs)production of Alexandrium pacificum(CCMA-272),a strain isolated from East China Sea,at different temperatures(15,20,and 25℃)and light intensities(30,60,and 90μmol photons/(m^(2)·s)).Results indicate that temperature and light intensity significantly affected the growth,physiology,and toxigenic potentials of *** optimal conditions for the growth of *** were observed at 20℃ under60μmol photons/(m^(2)·s).Regarding the production of PSTs,this strain of *** produced 12 PSTs,including carbamate toxins:saxitoxin(STX),neosaxitoxin(NEO),and gonyautoxin 1–4(GTX1,GTX2,GTX3,GTX4);dicarbamoyl toxins:dicarbamoylsaxitoxin(dcSTX),dicarbamoylgonyautoxin 2,3(dcGTX2,dcGTX3);and N-sulfocarbamoyl toxins:N-sulfocarbamoylgonyautoxin 1,2(C1,C2),and gonyautoxin 5(GTX5).Among all the PSTs,C2 was the most *** temperature(15℃)and high light intensity(90μmol photons/(m^(2)·s))were beneficial for the production of PSTs in *** cultured at 20 and 25℃,*** generated comparable total quantities of PSTs,yet the toxicity levels were lower at 25℃.Intra-cellular PSTs contents were greater than extra-cellular PSTs contents,except those under the condition of 25℃ with 30μmol photons/(m^(2)·s).However,as the increase of temperature,*** released more amounts of analogues with higher toxicity levels(e.g.,STX and dcGTX_(2))into the environment than *** findings emphasize the significant sensitivity of *** to temperature and light intensity,highlighting the importance of evaluating both intra-cellular and extra-cellular PSTs for assessing its toxicity and aiding in the prediction and management of HABs.

Research progress of small-molecule natural medicines for the treatment of ischemic stroke

Stroke is the second leading cause of disability and mortality worldwide, imposing a substantial socioeconomic burden on individuals and healthcare systems. Annually, approximately 14 million people experience stroke, with ischemic stroke comprising nearly 85% of cases, of which 10% to 20% involve large vessel occlusions. Currently, recombinant tissue plasminogen activator(tPA) remains the only approved pharmacological intervention. However, its utility is limited due to a narrow therapeutic window and low recanalization rates, making it applicable to only a minority of patients. Therefore, there is an urgent need for novel therapeutic strategies, including pharmacological advancements and combinatory ***-molecule natural medicines, particularly those derived from traditional Chinese herbs,have demonstrated significant therapeutic potential in ischemic stroke management. These compounds exert multiple neuroprotective effects, such as antioxidation, anti-inflammatory action, and inhibition of apoptosis, all of which are critical in mitigating stroke-induced cerebral damage. This review comprehensively examines the pathophysiology of acute ischemic stroke(AIS) and highlights the recent progress in the development of small-molecule natural medicines as promising therapeutic agents for cerebral ischemic stroke.
