Single zinc oxide nanowires(ZnO NWs)are promising for nanogenerators because of their excellent semiconducting and piezoelectric properties,but characterizing the latter efficiently is challenging.As reported here,an electrical breakdown strategy was used to construct single ZnO NWs with a specific length.With the high operability of a nanomanipulator in a scanning electron microscope,ZnO-NW-based twoprobe and three-probe structures were constructed for fabricating AC/DC nanogenerators,respectively.For a ZnO NW,an AC output of between−15.31 mV and 5.82 mV was achieved,while for a DC nanogenerator,an output of24.3 mV was realized.Also,the three-probe structure’s output method was changed to verify the distribution of piezoelectric charges when a single ZnO NW is bent by a probe,and DC outputs of different amplitudes were achieved.This study provides a low-cost,highly convenient,and operational method for studying the AC/DC output characteristics of single NWs,which is beneficial for the further development of nanogenerators.

To the Editor:Psoriatic arthritis(PsA)is a type of arthritic condition that occurs in patients with psoriasis.Early identification of patients at risk and the knowledge of risk factors is crucial for dermatologists.The Chinese Psoriasis Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Center(CPSDTC)registry database is a prospective,multicenter cohort study launched by the Peking University First Hospital in July 2020 to gather clinical information on Chinese patients with psoriasis.Our study aimed to report the clinical features of Chinese psoriatic patients using the Psoriasis Epidemiology Screening Tool(PEST)for the early referral of arthritis.

Because of their unique mechanical and electrical properties,zinc oxide(ZnO)nanowires are used widely in microscopic and nanoscopic devices and structures,but characterizing them remains challenging.In this paper,two pick-up strategies are proposed for characterizing the electrical properties of ZnO nanowires using SEM equipped with a nanomanipulator.To pick up nanowires efficiently,direct sampling is compared with electrification fusing,and experiments show that direct sampling is more stable while electrification fusing is more efficient.ZnO nanowires have cut-off properties,and good Schottky contact with the tungsten probes was established.In piezoelectric experiments,the maximum piezoelectric voltage generated by an individual ZnO nanowire was 0.07 V,and its impedance decreased with increasing input signal frequency until it became stable.This work offers a technical reference for the pick-up and construction of nanomaterials and nanogeneration technology.

In February 2023,the annual‘Olympic’of the chip industry,ISSCC,returned to in-person meetings in San Francisco.As shown in Fig.1,from the ISSCC 2023,we can see that the trend in IC design has shifted from pure digital to mixed-signal design,particularly in areas such as AI accelerator chips and quantum computing.Chips have also evolved from integrated circuits to integrated chips through modulelevel,function-level,and chip-level fusion,with compute-inmemory being the best embodiment of module-level and function-level fusion.Moreover,quantum computing was one of the major focuses of this ISSCC edition,with a separate paper session dedicated to cryo-CMOS for quantum computing.

高分子聚合物颗粒轻质土中,原料黏土取自三江平原青龙山灌区田间配套支渠堤坝。由低液限黏土、粉煤灰、减水外加剂、硅酸盐水泥、水、高分子聚合物颗粒按选定比例混合,经搅拌机械翻拌成混合料。这种混合料具有密度比小,热效率传导慢,热效阻隔强和保温效果优等特点。为了深入探究预防冻胀破坏成因成效,拓展预制混凝土矩型槽在渠道应用条件,利用模拟冻融循环试验,对颗粒轻质土的保温效能及预防冻胀破坏进行实测和论证,为颗粒混合轻质土在三江平原季节冰冻地区的典型推广确定理论依据和使用方法,使灌区田间配套渠系水工建筑物在季节冻胀区的冻胀损坏降至最低。

目的探讨肌电图教学中住院医师规范化培训(简称“住培”)的培训方法及效果。方法选择2019年7月—2022年7月在滨州医学院附属医院肌电图室参加住培的医师为研究对象,共60名,采用随机数字表法分为研究组和对照组,各30名。对照组采用传统培训方式,研究组采用系统化培训,对比2组住培医师的理论知识及临床技能操作成绩,并采取调查问卷了解住培医师对教学效果的评价。结果研究组理论知识及临床技能操作成绩优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。调查问卷显示研究组住培医师对培训的满意度高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论在肌电图教学中对住培医师进行系统化培训不仅能获得较好的培训效果,还能激发学习兴趣,提高教学效能。

A pre-metastatic niche(PMN)is a protective microenvironment that facilitates the colonization of disseminating tumor cells in future metastatic organs.Extracellular vesicles(EVs)play a role in intercellular communication by delivering cargoes,such as noncoding RNAs(ncRNAs).The pivotal role of extracellular vesicle-derived noncoding RNAs(EV-ncRNAs)in the PMN has attracted increasing attention.In this review,we summarized the effects of EV-ncRNAs on the PMN in terms of immunosuppression,vascular permeability and angiogenesis,inflammation,metabolic reprogramming,and fibroblast alterations.In particular,we provided a comprehensive overview of the effects of EV-ncRNAs on the PMN in different cancers.Finally,we discussed the promising clinical applications of EV-ncRNAs,including their potential as diagnostic and prognostic markers and therapeutic targets.

This paper concerns the problem of object segmentation in real-time for picking system. A region proposal method inspired by human glance based on the convolutional neural network is proposed to select promising regions, allowing more processing is reserved only for these regions. The speed of object segmentation is significantly improved by the region proposal method.By the combination of the region proposal method based on the convolutional neural network and superpixel method, the category and location information can be used to segment objects and image redundancy is significantly reduced. The processing time is reduced considerably by this to achieve the real time. Experiments show that the proposed method can segment the interested target object in real time on an ordinary laptop.

Carbamazepine(CBZ)is an anticonvulsant with very low water solubility,presenting as a white crystalline powder with poor mechanical properties and is hard to bend.To enhance CBZ's physicochemical properties,such as water solubility and mechanical properties,we selected six cocrystal coformers(CCFs):nicotinamide(NIC),benzamide(BZM),salicylic acid(SCA),fumaric acid(FMA),trimesic acid(TMA),and hesperetin(HPE).Six CBZ cocrystals were successfully prepared using the solution method.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),and single crystal X-ray diffraction(SCXRD)were used to characterize the crystal structures and gain comprehensive insights into the six cocrystals.The mechanical,fluorescence,and solubility properties of the six cocrystals were tested.The results reveal that most of the prepared cocrystals exhibit improved water solubility and mechanical properties when compared to CBZ.Among them,the dissolution rate of cocrystals excluded from CBZ-HPE has increased by an average of 3 or 4 times compared to CBZ,while CBZ-HPE exhibits superior mechanical properties.Moreover,all six cocrystals possess better fluorescence performance than CBZ.We thoroughly evaluated the mechanical properties of the cocrystals through both experimental and theoretical approaches.This work provides a new direction for studying drug cocrystals to improve the physicochemical properties of drugs.
