Metal halide perovskites have attracted much attention in biomedicine because of their excellent fluorescence energy conversion properties;however,poor water-stability and cytotoxicity limit its applications as a biomedical tracer,especially in cellular ***,water-ultrastable perovskites C sPbBr_(3):Cs_(4)PbBr_(6)nanocrystals(NCs)encapsulated in chitosan are fabricated successfully using a water-triggered *** as-synthesized CsPbBr_(3):Cs_(4)PbBr_(6)@CS(chitosan,CS)nanoparticles in water display enhanced fluorescence emission for 35 ***,the viability of glioma cells(U87 cells)incubated with different concentrations of CsPbBr_(3):Cs_(4)PbBr_(6)@CS nanoparticles(0-20μg·ml^(-1))for24 h is found to be higher than 90%.In artificial body fluid,analyses using laser confocal microscopy,the standard Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)method,and flow cytometry demonstrated the good water ultrastability and high biocompatibility performance of CsPbBr_(3):Cs_(4)PbBr_(6)@CS nanoparticles in cellular ***,the water-ultrastable halide perovskites support promising perspectives in biological cell tracing and intelligent medical technology.

Mg-doped ZnO （MgxZn1-xO, x=0-0.10） nanoparticles were prepared by sol-gel method. Structural characterization by X-ray diffraction （XRD） indicates that the lattice parameter a increases and c decreases linearly with the increase in Mg content （x） due to the substitution of Mg2＋ for Zn2＋ in ZnO lattice. The blueshift of Raman modes is observed, impling the increase in force constant of atom vibration in the MgxZn1-xO （MgZnO） nanoparticles. Resonant Raman spectra show longitudinal optical phonon overtones up to fifth order, revealing that the short part of the electron-phonon interaction is enhanced and long-range part is weakened by Mg doping.

Copper-coated woven carbon fiber-reinforced aluminum alloy composite was prepared by spark plasma sintering （SPS）. Microstructure, three-point bending mechanical property, and the failure mechanisms of the composite were investigated. Microstructure observation shows that the carbon fibers bond compactly with matrix alloy. Compared with the matrix aluminum alloy, the bending strength, ductility, fracture energy, and cracking resistance of the composite are evidently improved. Microstructure analyses reveal that the high specific strength of carbon fibers and transfer of stress from matrix alloy to carbon fibers are responsible for the increase of the composite bending strength. The expanding of cracks is restrained, and cracking resistance of the composite is improved by adding woven carbon fiber. Attributed to the carbon fibers＇ debonding, cracks deflection, and multipath propagation mechanisms, the fracture energy of the composite increases.

Background The effect of fish oil-containing lipid emulsions on preventing parenteral nutrition-associated cholestasis(PNAC)in very low birth weight(VLBW)infants is not ***,we conducted a meta-analysis to identify any preven-tion *** PubMed,EMBASE,and CENTRAL were searched up to 26 January 2021 for studies related to the preventive effect of fish oil-containing lipid emulsions and fish oil-free lipid emulsions on cholestasis in VLBW *** 5.3 was used to synthesize the results.A fixed-effect model was used to summarize the data when the heterogeneity was non-significant(I250%).Results Of 728 articles,11 randomized controlled trials met the inclusion *** meta-analysis indicated that fish oil-containing lipid emulsion reduced the occurrence of PNAC significantly with risk ratio(RR)=0.53,95%confidence interval(CI)0.36-0.80,P=*** heterogeneity was non-significant with I2=23%.Subgroup analysis based on par-enteral nutrition duration and median birth weight was *** synthesis results for patients with parenteral nutri-tion duration exceeding 14 days revealed I2=35%(P=0.15)and pooled RR=0.47,95%CI 0.30-0.73,P=0.0008;and for patients with duration less than 14 days revealed I2=0%(P=0.72)and pooled RR=1.14,95%CI 0.39-3.35,P=*** synthesis for patients with birth weight more than 1000 g revealed I2=0%(P=0.41)and pooled RR=0.55,95%CI 0.26-1.18,P=0.12;and for patients with birth weight below 1000 g revealed I2=44%(P=0.11)and pooled RR=0.53,95%CI 0.33-0.85,P=*** The fish oil-containing lipid emulsion can reduce the occurrence of PNAC in VLBW infants based on the avail-able original randomized controlled trial studies,especially for patients with parenteral nutrition duration exceeding 14 days and extremely low birth weight *** studies should be performed before a definitive conclusion can be established.

This paper proposes a learning-based method for text detection and text segmentation in natural scene images. First, the input image is decomposed into multiple connected-components (CCs) by Niblack clustering algorithm. Then all the CCs including text CCs and non-text CCs are verified on their text features by a 2-stage classification module, where most non-text CCs are discarded by an attentional cascade classifier and remaining CCs are further verified by an SVM. All the accepted CCs are output to result in text only binary image. Experiments with many images in different scenes showed satisfactory performance of our proposed method.

Opioid use disorder(OUD)has become a considerable global public health challenge;however,potential medications for the management of OUD that are effective,safe,and nonaddictive are not *** preclinical evidence indicates that antagonists of the dopamine D3 receptor(D3R)have effects on addiction in different animal *** have previously reported that YQA14,a D3R antagonist,exhibits very high affinity and selectivity for D3Rs over D2Rs,and is able to inhibit cocaine-or methamphetamine-induced reinforcement and reinstatement in self-administration *** the present study,our results illustrated that YQA14 dose-dependently reduced infusions under the fixed-ratio 2 procedure and lowered the breakpoint under the progressive-ratio procedure in heroin self-administered rats,also attenuated heroin-induced reinstatement of drug-seeking *** the other hand,YQA14 not only reduced morphine-induced expression of conditioned place preference but also facilitated the extinguishing process in ***,we elucidated that YQA14 attenuated opioid-induced reward or reinforcement mainly by inhibiting morphine-induced up-regulation of dopaminergic neuron activity in the ventral tegmental area and decreasing dopamine release in the nucleus accumbens with a fiber photometry recording *** findings suggest that D3R might play a very important role in opioid addiction,and YQA14 may have pharmacotherapeutic potential in attenuating opioid-induced addictive behaviors dependent on the dopamine system.

Recently,numerous mechanically robust synthetic hydrogels have been ***,unlike natural loading-bearing materials such as cartilages and muscles,most hydrogels have inherently contradictory requirements,obstructing the design of hydrogels with characteristics of robustness and rapid ***,we present a facile strategy for constructing mechanically robust and rapidly self-recoverable *** linear poly(acrylamide-co-itaconic acid)chains crosslink via coordination bonds and minimal chemical crosslinkers to form the hydrogel *** design endows the coordination interactions to be asymmetrically *** deformation,the coordination interactions exhibit a reversible dissociation-and-reorganization property,demonstrating a new mechanism for energy dissipation and stress ***,the hydrogels possess tensile strength up to 12.5 MPa and toughness up to 28.2 MJ/***,the inherent dynamic nature of the coordination bonds imparts these hydrogels with stretch rate-and temperature-dependent mechanical behavior as well as excellent self-recovery *** method employed in this study is universal and is applicable to other polymers with load-bearing yet rapid recovery *** study will facilitate diverse applications of most metallosupramolecular hydrogels.

Isolation and Purification of Polysaccharides from Cordyceps minlitaris and Its Inhibition on the Proliferation of Rat Glomerular Mesangial Cells

The crude polysaccharide was obtained by means of the decolorization of porphyrized Cordyceps minlitaris stroma with organic solvent, extraction with hot water, precipitation in 80% ethanol, and protein removal with the Sevag method. After purification with Sephadex G-75, two of its components, CMP-1 and CMP-2, were obtained. Through the assay of gel chromatography and polarimetry, CMP-1 was identified as pure polysaccharide. The results demonstrated that CMP-1 had favorable oxidation resistance activity, which could scavenge not only oxygen-free radicals in the self-oxidation system of pyrogallic acid, but also the hydroxide-free radicals in the Fenton system. The study focused on the effects of low, medium, and high dosages of CMP-1 in rat blood serum on the proliferation of glomerular mesangial cells in vitro. Through MTT Colorimetric analysis, the activities were compared among the blank control group and the Niaoduqing positive control group CMP-1 and CMP-2. The results shows that CMP-1 was able to inhibit the proliferation of rat glomerular mesangial cells effectively. Therefore, CMP-1, one component of polysaccharides of Cordyceps minlitaris, was certainly a potential remedy for hyperplastic glomerular nephritis, whose antioxidant activity could slow down the process of chronic renal failure（CRF） to some extent.
