The Xi’an proton accelerator facility synchrotron lattice has a systematic fourth-order resonance. The systematic octupole component in dipole magnets is found to have no adverse effect on the dynamic aperture in multiparticle tracking. The frequency map shows particles locked onto the 2v x 2v z-0 resonance. However, we will show that the instantaneous betatron tunes can vary widely around the resonance line for particles locked onto the resonance.

Tertiary lymphoid structures(TLSs)are defined as lymphoid aggregates formed in non-hematopoietic organs under pathological *** to secondary lymphoid organs(SLOs),the formation of TLSs relies on the interaction between lymphoid tissue inducer(LTi)cells and lymphoid tissue organizer(LTo)cells,involving multiple *** is a distinguishing feature of TLSs,which may lead to differences in their *** evidence suggests that TLSs are associated with various diseases,such as cancers,autoimmune diseases,transplant rejection,chronic inflammation,infection,and even ***,the detailed mechanisms behind these clinical associations are not yet fully *** mechanisms by which TLS maturation and localization affect immune function are also ***,it is necessary to enhance the understanding of TLS development and function at the cellular and molecular level,which may allow us to utilize them to improve the immune *** this review,we delve into the composition,formation mechanism,associations with diseases,and potential therapeutic applications of ***,we discuss the therapeutic implications of TLSs,such as their role as markers of therapeutic response and ***,we summarize various methods for detecting and targeting ***,we provide a comprehensive understanding of TLSs and aim to develop more effective therapeutic strategies.

Ion channels are crucial in the generation and modulation of excitability in the nervous system and have been implicated in human epilepsy. Forty-one epilepsyassociated ion channel genes and their mutations are systematically reviewed. In this paper, we analyzed the genotypes, functional alterations（funotypes）, and phenotypes of these mutations. Eleven genes featured loss-offunction mutations and six had gain-of-function *** genes displayed diversified funotypes, among which a distinct funotype-phenotype correlation was found in SCN1A. These data suggest that the funotype is an essential consideration in evaluating the pathogenicity of mutations and a distinct funotype or funotype-phenotype correlation helps to define the pathogenic potential of a gene.

wuschel-related homeobox （WOX） genes play essential, specific, and sometimes redundant roles in plant embryo development, shoot and root meristem maintenance, and plant development. Though much information was quickly gained with members of the WOX gene family of Arabidopsis, monocotyledonous crops, and gymnospermous conifers, little is known about perennial woody plants. In this study, we isolated the first WOXgene family member from grape （Vitis vinifera L. cv. Cabernet Sauvignon）, and named it VvWOX4 based on its characteristic domains and phylogenetic analysis. The identity of VvWOX4 was validated by MALDI-TOF MS and Western blot with polyclonal antibody against Arabidopsis thaliana wuschel. Functional analysis showed that VvWOX4 markedly increased shoot primordia structures when overexpressed under CaMV 35S promoter in tobacco. A different expression pattern was found for VvVOX4 compared with AtwuCHEL and its expression was detected in unique organs of grapevines. Besides the expression in the vegetative shoot apical meristem （SAM） of grape shoot tips, VvWOX4 is expressed in dormant winter buds, inflorescence, young leaves, and tendril tips, but not in root tips. In young leaves, the expression of VvWOX4 is strongly upregulated by wounding, and also by plant growth regulators such as 2 mg L-1 2,4-D, 1 mg L-1 NAA and 1 mg L-1 BAP treatments, while downregulation was monitored by 1 mg L^-1 IBA treatment, and there was no response to 0.5 mg L-1 GA3 treatment. Together, our results revealed the first member of grape WOX gene family and indicated different roles and regulation of VvWOX4 in the perennial woody crop grapevine.

Spatio-temporal changes in rice area at the northern limits of the rice cropping system in China from 1984 to 2013

Rice area has been expanding rapidly during the past 30 years under the influence of global change in northeastern China, which is the northernmost region of rice cultivation in China. However, the spatio-temporal dynamic changes in rice area are still unclear, although they may have important policy implications for environmental protection and adaptation to climate change. In this study, we aimed to identify the dynamic changes of the rice area in Heilongjiang Province of northeastern China by extracting data from multiple Landsat images. The study used ground quadrats selected from Google Earth and the extraction of a confusion matrix to verify the accuracy of extraction. The overall accuracy of the extracted rice area was higher than 95% as a result of using the artificial neural network （ANN） classification method. The results showed that the rice area increased by approximately 2.4×10^6 ha during the past 30 years at an annual rate of 8.0×10^4 ha, and most of the increase occurred after 2000. The central latitude of the rice area shifted northwards from 46 to 47°N during the study period, and moved eastwards from 130 to 133°E. The rice expansion area accounted for 98% of the total change in rice area, and rice loss was notably rare. The rice expansion was primarily from dryland. In addition, rice cultivation in marshland and grassland played a minor role in the rice expansion in this region.

Effectiveness of additional resection of the invasive cancer-positive proximal bile duct margin in cases of hilar cholangiocarcinoma

Background: The survival benefits of additional resection of the positive proximal ductal margin (PM) in hilar cholangiocarcinoma (HCCA) remains controversial. This retrospective study investigated the effectiveness of additional resection of the invasive cancer PM under different levels of preoperative carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9). Methods: Patients who underwent hepatectomy for HCCA from 2000 to 2017 were analyzed. Surgical variables, resection margin status, length of the PM (LPM), prognostic factors, and survival were evaluated. Results: A total of 228 patients were enrolled: 175 PM(?) without additional resection patients (group A), 21 PM(?) after additional resection (group B), 16 PM(+) without additional resection (group C), and 16 PM(+) after additional resection (group D). The median survival of group B (20.99 months) was similar to that of group A (23.00 months;P=0.16), and both were significantly better than those of group C (11.60 months) and D (9.50 months), especially when preoperative CA19-9>150 U/mL (P10 mm was significantly better compared with those with an LPM ≤10 mm, especially when preoperative CA19-9 was >150 U/mL (P10 mm group, the survival of group B was comparable with that of group A (P>0.05). Conclusions: HCCA patients could get a survival benefit from a negative PM resulting from additional resection. Survival could be comparable with that of negative PM without additional resection among HCCA patients. An LPM >10 mm is possibly more associated with better survival compared with whether additional resection of the positive PM is performed under different levels of preoperative CA19-9.

The recurrence of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC)after surgical resection continues to pose a major challenge to cancer *** HNSCC exhibits a low response rate to immune checkpoint blockade(ICB),while photothermal therapy(PTT)can increase the infiltration of immune cells to make tumors more susceptible to cancer *** this regard,we designed and constructed a novel multifunctional nanocomposite comprised of oxidized bacterial cellulose(OBC),thrombin(TB),and gold nanocages(AuNCs)containing anti-programmed death 1(PD-1)antibody(αPD-1@AuNCs),which allows the combination of therapies with remarkable postoperative antitumor immunity to control local tumor ***αPD-1@AuNCs displayed high light-to-heat conversion efficiency and induced pyroptosis under near infrared(NIR)irradiation,which activated a potent antitumor immune *** importantly,the therapeutic system could induce tumor pyroptosis and enhance antitumor immune response by increasing T-cell infiltration and reducing the immune suppressive cells,when combined with local ICB therapy,which effectively avoided the tumor recurrence in a HNSCC postoperative mice ***,the newly developed multifunctional nanocomposites could be a promising candidate for the treatment of postoperative HNSCC.
