Constructing controllable thermal conduction networks is the key to efficiently improve thermal conductivities of polymer *** this work,graphite oxide(GO)and functionalized carbon nanotubes(f-CNTs)are combined to prepare“Line-Plane”-like hetero-structured thermally conductive GO@f-CNTs fillers,which are then performed to construct controllable 3D GO@f-CNTs thermal conduction networks via selfsacrificing template method based on oxalic ***,thermally conductive GO@f-CNTs/polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)composites are fabricated via casting *** the size of oxalic acid is 0.24 mm and the volume fraction of GO@f-CNTs is 60 vol%,GO@f-CNTs/PDMS composites present the optimal thermal conductivity coefficient(λ,4.00 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)),about 20 times that of theλof neat PDMS(0.20 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)),also much higher than theλ(2.44 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1))of GO/f-CNTs/PDMS composites with the same amount of randomly dispersed ***,the obtained GO@f-CNTs/PDMS composites have excellent thermal stability,whoseλdeviation is only about 3%after 500 thermal cycles(20-200℃).

Curtain walls are more and more commonly used as building *** allow a better daylight availability and a direct connection to exterior ***,due to the high specular reflections,they may also introduce negative impacts,such as glare and urban heat island effects,to the surround,especially in dense and urban ***,it is important to effectively characterize the reflected sunlight from curtain *** study aimed to compare how different simulation methods can be used to characterize the reflected sunlight from curtain *** was found that the modeling of the sun and sky,ambient calculation,and the modeling of the building facade significantly affected the simulation results.A combination of forward and backward ray-tracing is recommended,with forward ray-tracing for identifying the curtain wall areas reflecting sunlight and backward ray-tracing for calculating illuminance due to reflected sunlight.A follow-up work is planned to investigate how different parameters will affect the simulation results and which method can produce similar results as field measurements.

Based on the natural disaster risk evaluation mode, a quantitative danger degree evaluation model was developed to evaluate the danger degree of earth dam reservoir staged operation in the flood season. A formula for the overtopping risk rate of the earth dam reservoir staged operation was established, with consideration of the joint effect of flood and wind waves in the flood sub-seasons with the Monte Carlo method, and the integrated overtopping risk rate for the whole flood season was obtained via the total probability approach. A composite normalized function was used to transform the dam overtopping risk rate into the danger degree, on a scale of 0-1. Danger degree gradating criteria were divided by four significant characteristic values of the dam overtopping rate, and corresponding guidelines for danger evaluation are explained in detail in this paper. Examples indicated that the dam overtopping danger degree of the Chengbihe Reservoir in China was 0.33-0.57, within the range of moderate danger level, and the flood-limiting water level （FLWL） can be adjusted to 185.00 m for the early and main flood seasons, and 185.00-187.50 m for the late flood season. The proposed quantitative model offers a theoretical basis for determination of the value of the danger degree of an earth dam reservoir under normal operation as well as the optimal scheduling scheme for the reservoir in each stage of the flood season.

In this paper, a quasi-Newton-type optimized iterative learning control （ILC） algorithm is investigated for a class of discrete linear time-invariant systems. The proposed learning algorithm is to update the learning gain matrix by a quasi-Newton-type matrix instead of the inversion of the plant. By means of the mathematical inductive method, the monotone convergence of the proposed algorithm is analyzed, which shows that the tracking error monotonously converges to zero after a finite number of iterations. Compared with the existing optimized ILC algorithms, due to the superlinear convergence of quasi-Newton method, the proposed learning law operates with a faster convergent rate and is robust to the ill-condition of the system model, and thus owns a wide range of applications. Numerical simulations demonstrate the validity and effectiveness.

Objective:Postpartum weight retention(PPWR)is a common problem among women after *** main objectives of this study are to understand the changes in body weight of breastfeeding mothers during long-term follow-up and preliminarily explore the relationship between maternal body weight and human milk composition,including macronutrients,leptin,and ***:The study included a longitudinal cohort(122 mothers),and a cross-sectional cohort(37 mothers).The human milk,maternal weight,and dietary surveys were collected in the longitudinal cohort at different follow-up time points(1-14 days postpartum,2-4 months postpartum,5-7 months postpartum,and 12-17 months postpartum).The maternal body weight was analyzed using the responses in the survey questionnaires.A milk analyzer based on the mid-infrared spectroscopy(MIRS)was used to determine milk composition,and nutrition analysis software evaluated dietary *** the cross-sectional cohort,participating mothers were asked to provide blood and human milk samples and pertinent information related to maternal body *** body composition was measured by bioelectrical impedance analysis(BIA),while ELISA analyzed leptin and adiponectin in milk and ***:At 5-7 months postpartum,the PPWR of breastfeeding mothers was(2.46±3.59)*** 12-17 months postpartum,the PPWR was(0.98±4.06)*** was found to be negatively correlated with milk fat content within 14 days postpartum and positively correlated at 2-4 months *** addition,the maternal weight and body muscle mass were positively correlated with leptin and adiponectin in *** leptin was positively correlated with the mother’s body weight,body mass index(BMI),FAT percentage,and body fat mass,while plasma adiponectin did not correlate with any *** results also indicate that the PPWR did not correlate with leptin and adiponectin in plasma or ***:Breastfeeding mothers may retain considerable weight gai

It is proved that air entrainment is one of the efficient measures dealing with cavi-tation control for the release works of hydropower projects. There are many factors to be considered in designing a chute aerator. One of the most important factors concerns the cavity length below the aerator,which has outstanding effects on air entrainment against cavitation damage. It is crucial to determine reasonable emergence angle for the calculation of the cavity length. In the present paper the overall effects of structural and hydraulic parameters on the emergence angle of the flow from the aerator were analyzed. Four improved expressions of the emer-gence angle with weight coefficient were investigated through experimental data of 68 points observed from 12 aerators of 6 hydropower projects,of both model and prototype,on the basis of error theory. A method to calculate the cavity length be-low aerators was suggested,which considers overall effects of the above men-tioned parameters. Comparison between the method in this paper and the other five methods of calculating the cavity length showed that the present method is much more reliable than the existing methods while the mean error of the method is less than others.

We examine the repeatabilities of oblique-incidence reflectivity difference(OIRD) method for label-free detecting biological molecular interaction using protein *** experimental results show that the repeatabilities are the same in a given microarray or microarray-microarray and are consistent,indicating that OIRD is a promising label-free detection technique for biological microarrays.

Global research progress on coastal flooding was studied using a bibliometric evaluation of publications listed in the Web of Science extended scientific citation index. There was substantial growth in coastal flooding research output, with increasing publications, a higher collaboration index, and more references during the 1995–2016 period. The USA has taken a dominant position in coastal flooding research, with the US Geological Survey leading the publications ranking. Research collaborations at institutional scales have become more important than those at global scales. International collaborative publications consistently drew more citations than those from a single country. Furthermore, coastal flooding research included combinations of multi-disciplinary categories, including ‘Geology' and ‘Environmental Sciences & Ecology'. The most important coastal flooding research sites were wetlands and estuaries. While numerical modeling and 3 S(Remote sensing, RS; Geography information systems, GIS; Global positioning systems, GPS) technology were the most commonly used methods for studying coastal flooding, Lidar gained in popularity. The vulnerability and adaptation of coastal environments, their resilience after flooding, and ecosystem services function showed increases in interest.

U-Pb Zircon and Re-Os Molybdenite Geochronology of the W-Mo Mineralized Region of South Qinling, China, and their Tectonic Implications

A W-Mo mineralized region is located along the northern margin of the South Qinling tectonic belt of China. WMo mineralization occurs mainly in Cambrian–Ordovician clastic and carbonate rocks, and the ore bodies are structurally controlled by NW–SE-and NNE–SSW-striking faults. Evidence for magmatism in the area is widespread and is dominated by intermediate–felsic intrusives or apophyses, such as the Dongjiangkou, Yanzhiba, Lanbandeng, and Sihaiping granitic bodies. Quartz-vein-type mineralization and fault-controlled skarn-type mineralization dominate the ore systems, with additional enrichment in residual deposits. At present, there are few or insufficient studies on(1) the age of mineralization,(2) the relationship between intermediate–felsic granite and W-Mo mineralization,(3) the source of ore-forming materials, and(4) the metallogenic and tectonic setting of the mineralized area. In this paper, we present geochronology results for numerous intrusive granitic bodies in the South Qinling tectonic belt. U-Pb zircon geochronology of the Lanbandeng monzogranite and Wangjiaping biotite monzogranite yields ages of 222.7 ± 2.3 and 201.9 ± 1.8 Ma, respectively. In contrast to the Late Triassic age of the Lanbandeng monzogranite, the age of the newly discovered Wangjiaping biotite monzogranite places it at the Triassic–Jurassic boundary. Re-Os molybdenite geochronology on the Qipangou W-Mo deposit yielded a model age of 199.7 ± 3.9 Ma, indicating the deposit formed in the early Yanshanian period of the Early Jurassic. Granitoid intrusions in the mineralized area are characterized by composite granite bodies that crystallized at ca. 240–190 Ma. While there were multiple stages of intrusion, most occurred at 210–220 Ma, with waning magmatic activity at 200–190 Ma. The Re-Os age of molybdenite in the region is ca. 200–190 Ma, which may represent a newly discovered period of W-Mo metallogenesis that occurred during the final stages of magmatism. Accumulating evidence suggests that C-type lectin-like receptor-2(CLEC-2)plays an important role in *** this case-control study,we investigated the association between CLEC-2 and incidence of coronary artery disease(CAD).A total of 216 patients,including 14 cases of stable angina pectoris(SAP,non-ACS)and 202 cases of acute coronary syndrome(ACS),and 89 non-CAD control subjects were *** levels of soluble CLEC-2(sCLEC-2)were measured using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Compared with the control group(65.69(55.36–143.22)pg/mL),the plasma levels of sCLEC-2 were significantly increased in patients with CAD(133.67(88.76–220.09)pg/mL)and ACS(134.16(88.88–225.81)pg/mL).The multivariate adjusted odds ratios(95%confidence interval)of CAD reached 2.01(1.52–2.66)(Ptrend<0.001)for each 1-quartile increase in *** cubic splines showed a positive dose-response association between sCLEC2 and CAD incidence(Plinearity<0.001).The addition of sCLEC-2 to conventional risk factors improved the C statistic(0.821 vs.0.761,P=0.004)and reclassification ability(net reclassification improvement:57.45%,P<0.001;integrated discrimination improvement:8.27%,P<0.001)for *** conclusion,high plasma sCLEC-2 is independently associated with CAD risk,and the prognostic value of sCLEC-2 may be evaluated in future prospective studies.
