Four new norditerpenoid heterodimers with different dimerization patterns-namely,trigofragiloids A-C(denoted as compounds 1-3)and(+)-and(-)-trigofragiloid D(compound 4)-and three new phenanthrenone norditerpenoids-namely,trigofragiloids E-G(compounds 5-7)-were isolated from Trigonostemon *** 1 and 2 feature a novel heterodimeric carbon skeleton formed by the conjugation of a tetra-norditerpenoid and an ennea-norditerpenoid;they have been identified as class 2 atropisomers by means of quantum chemical *** 3 is an unprecedented phenylpropanoid-norditerpenoid adduct with a new dimerization ***(+)-and(-)-4 are the first example of S-shaped 1,4-dioxane-fused norditerpenoid *** by the structure elucidation of compound 4,two co-occurring analogues,actephilol A and epiactephilol A,were structurally revised as a pair of geometrical isomers and were identified as two pairs of enantiomers,(+)-and(-)-8 and(+)-and(-)-9,*** structures were characterized using a combined ***,compound 7 exhibits remarkable adenosine triphosphate-citrate lyase(ACLY)inhibition with a halfmaximal inhibition concentration(IC50)value of(0.46±0.11)lmol·L^(-1),as active as the positive control BMS-303141,and a molecular docking study offers deep insight into the interaction between compound 7 and ACLY.

Background The combination of cilostazol, aspirin and clopidogrel （triple antiplatelet therapy, TAT） after a percutaneous coronary intervention has been used as an alternative therapy. We performed a meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy and safety of TAT for patients after percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI）. Methods We systematically searched Pubmed, Embase and Web of Science databases to identify all randomized controlled trials （RCTs） that compared dual antiplatelet therapy （DAT） with and without cilostazol after PCI. All analyses were conducted using Review Manager 5.0. Results The final analysis consisted of 4474 patients from ten studies. The combined results suggested that there was a lower risk of cardiac death （relative risk （RR）=0.55, 95% confidence interval （Cl）： 0.31-0.98, P 〈0.05） and major adverse cardiac events （MACEs）（RR=0.63, 95% Cl： 0.54-0.74, P 〈0.05） in patients treated with TAT as compared to those with DAT follow-ups after six months to one year; no significant difference was observed in bleeding and non-fatal myocardial infarction （MI）（RR=1.14, 95% Cl： 0.80-1.64, P 〉0.055 RR=0.87, 95% Cl： 0.42-1.83, P 〉0.05）. However, the rate of adverse drug reaction was higher in patients receiving TAT than in patients receiving DAT （RR=2.21, 95% Cl： 1.84-2.66, P 〈0.05）. Moreover, there was a lower risk of stent thrombosis in patients treated with TAT as compared to those treated with DAT （RR=0.44, 95% Cl： 0.21-0.94, P 〈0.05）. The TAT group had a reduced risk of target lesion revascularization （TLR）（RR=0.60, 95% Cl： 0.43-0.82, P=-0.001） and target vessel revascularization （TVR） than the DAT group （RR=0.56, 95% Cl： 0.45-0.71, P 〈0.05）. The number of MACEs was lower for patients in the TAT group than in the DAT group with diabetes mellitus sub-analysis （RR=0.41, 95% Cl： 0.28-0.61, P 〈0.05）. But no significant difference was observed between the two groups regarding MACEs in patients with drug-eluting stent implantations （RR=0.82, 95% Cl： 0.65-1.03, P

It used to be held that the cloud point phenomenon was only a characteris-tic of nonionic surfactants alone. Such phenomenon is rarely observed in ionicsurfactants. The present study shows that the mixture of cationic-anionic surfac-tants not only has a krafft point which is the characteristic of an ionic surfactant,but also exhibits the cloud point phenomenon obviously at certain concentrations.

Regulated cell death(RCD)is a controlled form of cell death orchestrated by one or more cascading signaling pathways,making it amenable to pharmacological *** subroutines can be categorized as apoptotic or non-apoptotic and play essential roles in maintaining homeostasis,facilitating development,and modulating *** evidence has recently revealed that RCD evasion is frequently the primary cause of tumor *** non-apoptotic RCD subroutines have garnered attention as promising cancer therapies due to their ability to induce tumor regression and prevent relapse,comparable to ***,they offer potential solutions for overcoming the acquired resistance of tumors toward apoptotic *** an increasing understanding of the underlying mechanisms governing these non-apoptotic RCD subroutines,a growing number of small-molecule compounds targeting single or multiple pathways have been discovered,providing novel strategies for current cancer *** this review,we comprehensively summarized the current regulatory mechanisms of the emerging non-apoptotic RCD subroutines,mainly including autophagy-dependent cell death,ferroptosis,cuproptosis,disulfidptosis,necroptosis,pyroptosis,alkaliptosis,oxeiptosis,parthanatos,mitochondrial permeability transition(MPT)-driven necrosis,entotic cell death,NETotic cell death,lysosome-dependent cell death,and immunogenic cell death(ICD).Furthermore,we focused on discussing the pharmacological regulatory mechanisms of related small-molecule *** brief,these insightful findings may provide valuable guidance for investigating individual or collaborative targeting approaches towards different RCD subroutines,ultimately driving the discovery of novel small-molecule compounds that target RCD and significantly enhance future cancer therapeutics.

The putrefaction of alkaline silica sol was investigated in this paper. The total colony numbers in three alkaline silica sol samples were 1.47 ×^ 105, 1.25× 10^4, and 9.45 × 10^4 cfu. mL 1, respectively. The salt- and alkalitolerant strains were isolated and selected using nutrient agar medium at 2.5% salinity and pH 9.5. Basic morphological, physiological and biochemical tests were conducted to confirm the preliminary characterizations of the strains. Based on API 50 CH test and 16S rDNA gene sequence analysis, the isolated strains were finally identified as Exiguobacterium aurantiacum, Cyclobacteriaceae bacterium, Microbacterium sp., Acinetobacter sp., Stenotrophomonas maltophilia and Bacillus thuringiensis. The survivability of the strains under different conditions such as salinities, acidities and temperatures was also studied. Some suitable methods for degerming, such as product pipe steam sterilization and regular canister cleaning, were proposed. To explore the possibility of isolates in industrial application, their alkaline protease and amylase production abilities were preliminarily studied. Five strains produced alkaline protease, whereas two strains produced alkaline amylase. Thus, understanding of the putrefaction on alkaline silica sol would be beneficial for improving industrial production.

A chemical investigation of the 95%EtoH extract of the seeds of Cephalotaxus fortunei *** led to the isolation of nine new cephalotane-type norditerpenoids,ceforalides A-I(1-9),and two known analogues(10 and 11).Compounds 1-8 belong to a rare class of A-ring-contracted cephalotane-type norditerpenoids,of which compound 8 incorporates a unique tetrasubstituted 2,5-cyclohexadienone *** 9 is a rare 13,14-seco-17-nor-cephalotane-type *** structures were determined based on NMR,HRESIMS,ECD,and X-ray diffraction *** tests revealed compounds 10 and 11 displayed moderate antimalarial activity.

In a previous paper, we have showed that, when aqueous solutions of cationicand anionic surfactants at certain concentrations were mixed, the solution separatedspontaneously into two immiscible phases (aqueous two-phases), one phase was rich,and the other was poor in the mixed surfactants. A clear interfacial boundary existsbetween two phases.

A greater number of compact and reliable electrostatic capacitors are in demand due to the Internet of Things boom and rapidly growing complex and integrated electronic systems,continuously promoting the development of high-energy-density ceramic-based *** significant successes have been achieved in obtaining high energy densities in lead-based ferroelectric ceramics,the utilization of lead-containing ceramies has been restricted due to environmental and health hazards of ***-free ferroelectric ceramics have garnered tremendous attention and are expected to replace lead-based ceramics in the near ***,the energy density of lead-free ceramics is still lagging behind that of lead-containing ***,severely limiting their *** efforts have been made to enhance the energy storage performance of lead-free ceramics using multi-scale design strategies,and exciting progress has been achieved in the past *** review briefly discusses the energy storage mechanism and fundamental characteristics of a dielectric capacitor,summarizes and compares the state-of-the-art design strategies for high-energy-density lead-free ceramics,and highlights several critical issues and requirements for industrial *** prospects and challenges of lead-free ceramics for energy storage applications are also discussed.
