Unsaturated bi-heterometal clusters in metal-vacancy sites of 2D MoS2 for efficient hydrogen evolution

The valence states and coordination structures of doped heterometal atoms in two-dimensional(2D)nanomaterials lack predictable regulation ***,a robust method is proposed to form unsaturated heteroatom clusters via the metal-vacancy restraint mechanism,which can precisely regulate the bonding and valence state of heterometal atoms doped in 2D molybdenum *** unsaturated valence state of heterometal Pt and Ru cluster atoms form a spatial coordination structure with Pt–S and Ru–O–S as catalytically active *** them,the strong binding energy of negatively charged suspended S and O sites for H+,as well as the weak adsorption of positively charged unsaturated heterometal atoms for H*,reduces the energy barrier of the hydrogen evolution reaction proved by theoretical ***,the electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution performance is markedly improved by the ensemble effect of unsaturated heterometal atoms and highlighted with an overpotential of 84 mV and Tafel slope of 68.5 mV dec^(−1).In brief,this metal vacancy-induced valence state regulation of heterometal can manipulate the coordination structure and catalytic activity of heterometal atoms doped in the 2D atomic lattice but not limited to 2D nanomaterials.

Two New Group 3 LEA Genes of Wheat and Their Functional Analysis in Yeast

The group 3 late embryogenesis abundant （LEA） proteins are thought to protect cells from stresses associated with dehydration during periods of water deficit. To investigate the functions of different members of the group 3 LEA genes, we isolated and characterized two new group 3 LEA genes, namely TaLEA2 and TaLEA3, from wheat （Triticum aestivum L.） and introduced TaLEA2 and TaLEA3 into Saccharmyces cerevisiae to examine the effect of these genes on yeast cell tolerance to osmotic, salt, and cold stresses. The TaLEA2 gene encoded a protein of 211 amino acids and possessed five repeats of 11-mer amino acid motifs. The TaLEA3 gene encoded a polypeptide of 211 amino acids with nine repeated units. Overexpression of TaLEA2 and TaLEA3 improved stress tolerance in transgenic yeast cells when cultured in medium containing sorbitol, salt and-20℃ freezing treatments respectively. However, the yeast transformants with TaLEA2 seemed to be more tolerant to hyperosmotic and freezing stress than transformants with TaLEA3. This implies that a close relationship exists between function and the number of repeats of the 11- mer amino acid motif in the group 3 LEA protein.

Seed weight is usually associated with seed size and is one of the important agronomic traits that determine *** of seed weight control is limited,especially in soybean *** we show that Glycine max JASMONATEZIM DOMAIN 3(GmJAZ3),a gene identified through gene co-expression network analysis,regulates seed-related traits in *** of GmJAZ3 promotes seed size/weight and other organ sizes in stable transgenic soybean plants likely by increasing cell ***3 interacted with both *** RESPONSE REGULATOR 18a(GmRR18a)and GmMYC2a to inhibit their transcriptional activation of cytokinin oxidase gene *** CYTOKININ OXIDASE 3-4(GmCKX3-4),which usually affects seed ***,the GmRR18a binds to the promoter of GmMYC2a and activates GmMYC2a gene *** GmJAZ3-overexpressing soybean seeds,the protein contents were increased while the fatty acid contents were reduced compared to those in the control seeds,indicating that the GmJAZ3 affects seed size/weight and *** variation in JAZ3 promoter region was further analyzed and Hap3 promoter correlates with higher promoter activity,higher gene expression and higher seed *** Hap3 promoter may be selected and fixed during soybean ***3 orthologs from other plants/crops may also control seed size and *** together,our study reveals a novel molecular module GmJAZ3-GmRR18a/GmMYC2a-GmCKXs for seed size and weight control,providing promising targets during soybean molecular breeding for better seed traits.

Ship recognition based on HRRP via multi-scale sparse preserving method

In order to extract the richer feature information of ship targets from sea clutter, and address the high dimensional data problem, a method termed as multi-scale fusion kernel sparse preserving projection(MSFKSPP) based on the maximum margin criterion(MMC) is proposed for recognizing the class of ship targets utilizing the high-resolution range profile(HRRP). Multi-scale fusion is introduced to capture the local and detailed information in small-scale features, and the global and contour information in large-scale features, offering help to extract the edge information from sea clutter and further improving the target recognition accuracy. The proposed method can maximally preserve the multi-scale fusion sparse of data and maximize the class separability in the reduced dimensionality by reproducing kernel Hilbert space. Experimental results on the measured radar data show that the proposed method can effectively extract the features of ship target from sea clutter, further reduce the feature dimensionality, and improve target recognition performance.

Liquid lens based holographic camera for real 3D scene hologram acquisition using end-to-end physical model-driven network

With the development of artificial intelligence,neural network provides unique opportunities for holography,such as high fidelity and dynamic *** to obtain real 3D scene and generate high fidelity hologram in real time is an urgent ***,we propose a liquid lens based holographic camera for real 3D scene hologram acquisition using an end-to-end physical model-driven network(EEPMD-Net).As the core component of the liquid camera,the first 10 mm large aperture electrowetting-based liquid lens is proposed by using specially fabricated *** design of the liquid camera ensures that the multi-layers of the real 3D scene can be obtained quickly and with great imaging *** EEPMD-Net takes the information of real 3D scene as the input,and uses two new structures of encoder and decoder networks to realize low-noise phase *** comparing the intensity information between the reconstructed image after depth fusion and the target scene,the composite loss function is constructed for phase optimization,and the high-fidelity training of hologram with true depth of the 3D scene is realized for the first *** holographic camera achieves the high-fidelity and fast generation of the hologram of the real 3D scene,and the reconstructed experiment proves that the holographic image has the advantage of low *** proposed holographic camera is unique and can be used in 3D display,measurement,encryption and other fields.

Inverse Calculation and Regularization Process for the Solar Aspect System(SAS) of HXI Payload on ASO-S Spacecraft

For the ASO-S/HXI payload, the accuracy of the flare reconstruction is reliant on important factors such as the alignment of the dual grating and the precise measurement of observation orientation. To guarantee optimal functionality of the instrument throughout its life cycle, the Solar Aspect System (SAS) is imperative to ensure that measurements are accurate and reliable. This is achieved by capturing the target motion and utilizing a physical model-based inversion algorithm. However, the SAS optical system’s inversion model is a typical ill-posed inverse problem due to its optical parameters, which results in small target sampling errors triggering unacceptable shifts in the solution. To enhance inversion accuracy and make it more robust against observation errors, we suggest dividing the inversion operation into two stages based on the SAS spot motion model. First, the as-rigid-aspossible (ARAP) transformation algorithm calculates the relative rotations and an intermediate variable between the substrates. Second, we solve an inversion linear equation for the relative translation of the substrates, the offset of the optical axes, and the observation orientation. To address the ill-posed challenge, the Tikhonov method grounded on the discrepancy criterion and the maximum a posteriori (MAP) method founded on the Bayesian framework are utilized. The simulation results exhibit that the ARAP method achieves a solution with a rotational error of roughly±3 5 (1/2-quantile);both regularization techniques are successful in enhancing the stability of the solution, the variance of error in the MAP method is even smaller—it achieves a translational error of approximately±18μm (1/2-quantile) in comparison to the Tikhonov method’s error of around±24μm (1/2-quantile). Furthermore, the SAS practical application data indicates the method’s usability in this study. Lastly, this paper discusses the intrinsic interconnections between the regularization methods.
