In this paper we present systematic differential representations for the dynamical group SO(4).Theserepresentations include the left and the right differential representations and the left and the right adjoint differentialrepresentations in both the group parameter space and its coset *** are the generalization of the differentialrepresentations of the SO(3) rotation group in the Euler *** representations may find their applications in thestudy of the physical systems with SO(4) dynamical symmetry.

The interaction of double-stranded （ds） and G-quadruplex （G4） DNA with sulfonyl 5-fluorouracil derivatives （5-fluoro-l-（arylsulfonyl） pyrimidine-2,4 （1H,3H）-diones） was investigated in this research, in which Au electrodes modified with ds-DNA or G4-DNAs were used as a working electrode. The investigation showed that the binding affinity with G4-DNA was significantly increased when 5-fluorouracil （5-FU） was modified with arylsulfonyl groups. The presence of strong electron-withdrawing groups on benzene sulfonyl 5-FU greatly enhanced the binding selectivity （kG4-DNA/kds-DNA）. Such results provided new insights into the potential connections between the chemical structure of drug candidates and their anticancer activities.

Porous α-Al2O3 thermal barrier coatings （TBCs） containing dispersed Pt particles were prepared by cathode plasma electrolytic deposition （CPED）. The influence of the Pt particles on the microstructure of the coatings and the CPED process were studied. The prepared coatings were mainly composed of α-Al2O3. The average thickness of the coatings was approximately 100 μm. Such single-layer TBCs ex- hibited not only excellent high-temperature cyclic oxidation and spallation resistance, but also good thermal insulation properties. Porous α-Al2O3 TBCs inhibit further oxidation of alloy substrates because of their extremely low oxygen diffusion rate, provide good thermal insu- lation because of their porous structure, and exhibit excellent mechanical properties because of the toughening effect of the Pt particles and because of stress relaxation induced by deformation of the porous structure.

胶质瘤是中枢神经系统最常见的恶性肿瘤,主要起源于神经胶质细胞。由于胶质瘤具有高度侵袭性的特点,其死亡率在各种癌症中名列前茅。因此,新的治疗方法和新的药物开发对于胶质瘤的治疗意义十分重大。在大约30%的胶质瘤中,端粒的维持并不是通过端粒酶的激活延长的,而是通过端粒延长替代机制(ALT)来维持和延长端粒。然而,由于目前对于ALT胶质瘤细胞系以及临床前的ALT胶质瘤模型的研究还比较匮乏,从而制约了ALT胶质瘤的机制研究。因此,本篇综述在此探讨了目前发现的ALT胶质瘤细胞系及ALT胶质瘤动物模型,以及这些模型在临床前研究中发挥的作用和最新的进展。

Based on the light-cone effective Hamiltonian with confining potential and SU （3） flavor mixing interactions, the flavor mixing mesons on the u, d, and s quark sectors are investigated. The mass eigen equations of the flavor mixing vector and pseudo vector mesons are solved. The calculated masses are in good agreement with the experimental data.

Antitumor and antimicrobial activities of endophytic fungi from medicinal parts of Aquilaria sinensis

The purpose of this study was to isolate and characterize endophytic fungi from the stem tissue which can produce fragrant ingredients in Aquilaria sinensis(also called agarwood) to determine their antitumor and antimicrobial ***-eight fungal endophytes were isolated from agarwood by strict sterile sample preparation and were classified into 14 genera and 4 taxonomic classes(Sordariomycetes,Dothideomycetes,Saccharomycetes,and Zy-gomycetes) based on molecular *** the 28 isolates,13(46.4%) showed antimicrobial activity against at least one of the test strains by the agar well diffusion method,and 23 isolates(82.1%) displayed antitumor activity against at least one of five cancer cell lines by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) *** diameters of inhibition zones of YNAS07,YNAS14,HNAS04,HNAS05,HNAS08,and HNAS11 were equal to or higher than 14.0 mm against Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli,Bacillus subtilis,***,Aspergillus fumigatus,and ***,*** inhibition rates of YNAS06,YNAS08,and HNAS06 were not less than 60% to 293-T,293-T,and SKVO3 cells,*** results suggest that the endophytic fungi associated with agarwood will provide us with not only useful micro-ecological information,but also potential antimicrobial and anti-tumor agents.

Therapeutic effects of hydrogen saturated saline on rat diabetic model and insulin resistant model via reduction of oxidative stress

Background Molecular hydrogen, as a novel antioxidant, has been proven effective in treating many diseases. This study aimed to evaluate the therapeutic effects of hydrogen saturated saline in treatment of a rat model of diabetes mellitus and a rat model of insulin resistant. Methods A rat diabetes mellitus model was established by feeding a high fat/high carbohydrate diet followed by injection of a small dose of streptozotocin, and an insulin resistant model was induced with a high glucose and high fat diet. Hydrogen saturated saline was administered to rats with both models conditions on a daily basis for eight weeks. A pioglitazone-treated group and normal saline-treated group served as positive and negative controls. The general condition, body weight, blood glucose, blood lipids, and serum insulin levels of rats were examined at the 8th week after treatment. The oxidative stress indices, including serum superoxide dismutase （SOD）, glutathione （GSH） and malondialdehyde （MDA） were also evaluated after eight weeks of treatment using the commercial kits.Results Hydrogen saturated saline showed great efficiency in improving the insulin sensitivity and lowering blood glucose and lipids. Meanwhile, the therapeutic effects of hydrogen saturated saline were superior to those of pioglitazone. Hydrogen saturated saline markedly attenuated the MDA level and elevated the levels of antioxidants SOD and GSH. Conclusion Hydrogen saturated saline may improve the insulin resistance and alleviate the symptoms of diabetes mellitus by reducing the oxidative stress and enhancing the anti-oxidant system.

Even and Odd Coherent States for Time-Dependent Harmonic Oscillator

The dynamical invariant for a general time-dependent harmonic oscillator is constructed by making use of two linearly independent solutions to the classical equation of motion. In terms of this dynamical invariant we define the time-dependent creation and annihilation operators and relevantly introduce even and odd coherent states for time dependent harmonic oscillator. The mathematical and quantum statistical properties of these states are discussed in detail. The harmonic oscillator with periodically varying frequency is treated as a demonstration of our general approach.
