Thrombosis and inflammation are primary contributors to the onset and progression of ischemic *** contact-kinin pathway,initiated by plasma kallikrein(PK)and activated factor XII(FXIIa),functions bidirectionally with the coagulation and inflammation cascades,providing a novel target for therapeutic drug development in ischemic *** this study,we identified a bat-derived oligopeptide from Myotis myotis(Borkhausen,1797),designated LE6(Leu-Ser-Glu-Glu-Pro-Glu,702 Da),with considerable potential in stroke therapy due to its effects on the contact kinin ***,LE6 demonstrated significant inhibitory effects on PK and FXIIa,with inhibition constants of 43.97μmol/L and 6.37μmol/L,*** vitro analyses revealed that LE6 prolonged plasma recalcification time and activated partial thromboplastin *** murine models,LE6 effectively inhibited carrageenan-induced mouse tail thrombosis,FeCl3-induced carotid artery thrombosis,and photochemically induced intracerebral ***,LE6 significantly decreased inflammation and stroke injury in transient middle cerebral artery occlusion ***,the low toxicity,hemolytic activity,and bleeding risk of LE6,along with its synthetic simplicity,underscore its clinical *** conclusion,as an inhibitor of FXIIa and PK,LE6 offers potential therapeutic benefits in stroke treatment by mitigating inflammation and preventing thrombus formation.

The modulation of circularly polarized luminescence(CPL) has become an increasingly prominent area of research. In this study,we propose a unique “one-excitation-to-three-emissions” CPL system through the co-assembly of an upconversion system,incorporating one sensitizer(Pt(II) mesotetraphenyl tetrabenzoporphyrine, Pt TPBP) and two annihilators(R/S-DPA and R/SBDP) within liquid crystals. The chiral nature of the annihilators induces a transformation of the nematic liquid crystal into chiral nematic liquid crystals(N*LC), establishing an excellent chiral matrix. Upon the incorporation of the sensitizer Pt TPBP and subsequent excitation at 635 nm, the system demonstrates two independent triplet–triplet annihilation photon upconversion(TTA-UC) with the emission in blue and yellow, aided by thermally activated triplet–triplet energy transfer(TTET). This is accompanied by the simultaneous generation of upconverting circularly polarized luminescence(UC-CPL) and downshifting near-infrared circularly polarized luminescence(DS-CPL) originating from the residual luminescence of Pt TPBP. Remarkably,fine-tuning the ratio between the two annihilators allows the TTA-UC system to exhibit multicolor CPL emission with an amplified luminescence dissymmetry factor(glum, reaching up to 0.6). Our study unveils a previously unreported “one-excitation-to-three-emissions” system and provides a versatile strategy for modulating CPL emissions, surpassing conventional methodologies.

In air traffic control communications (ATCC), misunderstandings between pilots and controllers could result in fatal aviation accidents. Fortunately, advanced automatic speech recognition technology has emerged as a promising means of preventing miscommunications and enhancing aviation safety. However, most existing speech recognition methods merely incorporate external language models on the decoder side, leading to insufficient semantic alignment between speech and text modalities during the encoding phase. Furthermore, it is challenging to model acoustic context dependencies over long distances due to the longer speech sequences than text, especially for the extended ATCC data. To address these issues, we propose a speech-text multimodal dual-tower architecture for speech recognition. It employs cross-modal interactions to achieve close semantic alignment during the encoding stage and strengthen its capabilities in modeling auditory long-distance context dependencies. In addition, a two-stage training strategy is elaborately devised to derive semantics-aware acoustic representations effectively. The first stage focuses on pre-training the speech-text multimodal encoding module to enhance inter-modal semantic alignment and aural long-distance context dependencies. The second stage fine-tunes the entire network to bridge the input modality variation gap between the training and inference phases and boost generalization performance. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed speech-text multimodal speech recognition method on the ATCC and AISHELL-1 datasets. It reduces the character error rate to 6.54% and 8.73%, respectively, and exhibits substantial performance gains of 28.76% and 23.82% compared with the best baseline model. The case studies indicate that the obtained semantics-aware acoustic representations aid in accurately recognizing terms with similar pronunciations but distinctive semantics. Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)benefit from an effective electrolyte system design in both terms of their safety and energy storage ***,a series of precursor membranes with high porosity were produced using electrospinning technology by mixing PVDF and triblock copolymer(PS-PEO-PS),resulting in a porous structure with good interconnections,which facilitates the absorbency of a large amount of electrolyte and further increases the ionic conductivity of gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs).It has been demonstrated that post-cross-linking of the precursor membranes increa ses the rigidity of the nanofibers,which allows the polymer film to be dimensionally sta ble up to 260℃while maintaining superior electrochemical *** obtained cross-linked GPEs(CGPEs)showed high ionic conductivity up to 4.53×10^(-3)S·cm^(-1).With the CGPE-25,the assembled Li/LiFeP04 half cells exhibited good rate capability and maintained a capacity of 99.4%and a coulombic efficiency of99.3%at 0.1 *** results suggest that the combination of electrospinning technique and post-cross-linking is an effective method to construct polymer electrolytes with high thermal stability and steadily decent electrochemical performance,particularly useful for Lithium-ion battery applications that require high-temperature usage.
