A single center investigation of bare-metal or drug-eluting stent restenosis from 1633 consecutive Chinese Han ethnic patients

Background Stents are widely used in China but the clinical impression is somehow that restenosis is less common because of the lower prevalence of coronary artery disease （CAD） and associated risk factors in Chinese populations. However, no large-sample published studies are available on angiographic stent restenosis including those of bare-metal stent （BMS） or drug-eluting stent （DES） in Chinese Han ethnic population. Mothods A total of 1633 consecutive patients with CAD who had undergone coronary stenting, quantitative coronary angiography （QCA） were retrospectively studied. At the time of stent implantation and at 7 months post-stenting 675 patients had a follow-up angiography. Statistical analysis was made with the chi-square test for categorical variables, unpaired t test for continuous variables, univariate or multivariate regression for baseline and angiographic characteristics and the Kaplan-Meier method for rate of target lesion revascularization （TLR）. Results Stent restenosis was defined as ≥50% diameter stenosis in the dilated segment. A total of 675 patients with 1074 lesions were subjected to angiographic follow-up for 7 months on average, Of these lesions, 448 were implanted with BMS whereas 626 lesions with DES. At 7 months, bare-metal in-stent restenosis occured in 148 lesions （33.0%）, and bare metal in-segment restenosis in 155 lesions （34.6%） in contrast to drug-eluting in-stent restenosis in 48 lesions （7.7%） and drug-eluting in-segment restenosis in 73 lesions （11.7%）（P〈0.001 compared with BMS respectively）. Late loss in both in-stent and in segment was higher in BMS than in DES groups [（1.00±0.69） vs （0.28±0.52）; （0.78±0.71） vs （0.21±0.52）, P〈0.001 respectively]. Intensive management enhances mycorrhizal respiration but decreases free-living microbial respiration by affecting microbial abundance and community structure in Moso bamboo forest soils

Intensive management is known to markedly alter soil carbon(C)storage and turnover in Moso bamboo forests compared with extensive ***,the effects of intensive management on soil respiration(RS)components remain *** study aimed to evaluate the changes in different RScomponents(root,mycorrhizal,and free-living microorganism respiration)in Moso bamboo forests under extensive and intensive management practices.A1-year in-situ microcosm experiment was conducted to quantify the RScomponents in Moso bamboo forests under the two management practices using mesh screens of varying *** results showed that the total RSand its components exhibited similar seasonal variability between the two management *** with extensive management,intensive management significantly increased cumulative respiration from mycorrhizal fungi by 36.73%,while decreased cumulative respiration from free-living soil microorganisms by 8.97%.Moreover,the abundance of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)increased by 43.38%,but bacterial and fungal abundances decreased by 21.65%and 33.30%,respectively,under intensive *** management practices significantly changed the bacterial community composition,which could be mainly explained by soil pH and available *** fungi and intensive management affected the interrelationships between bacterial *** equation modeling indicated that intensive management changed the cumulative RSby elevating AMF abundance and lowering bacterial *** concluded that intensive management reduced the microbial respiration-derived C loss,but increased mycorrhizal respiration-derived C loss.

A Secure Mutual Authentication Protocol Based on Visual Cryptography Technique for IoT-Cloud

Because of the increasing number of threats in the IoT cloud, an advanced security mechanism is needed to guard data against hacking or attacks. A user authentication mechanism is also required to authenticate the user accessing the cloud services. The conventional cryptographic algorithms used to provide security mechanisms in cloud networks are often vulnerable to various cyber-attacks and inefficient against new attacks. Therefore,developing new solutions based on different mechanisms from traditional cryptography methods is required to protect data and users’ privacy from attacks. Different from the conventional cryptography method, we suggest a secure mutual authentication protocol based on the visual cryptography technique in this paper. We use visual cryptography to encrypt and decrypt the secret images. The mutual authentication is based on two secret images and *** user requests the ticket from the authentication server(AS) to obtain the permission for accessing the cloud services. Three shared secret keys are used for encrypting and decrypting the authentication process. We analyze the protocol using the Barrows-Abadi-Needham(BAN)-logic method and the results show that the protocol is robust and can protect the user against various attacks. Also, it can provide a secure mutual authentication mechanism.

The Gerdjikov-Ivanov(GI)hierarchy is derived via recursion operator,in this article,we mainly investigate the third-order flow GI *** the framework of the Riemann-Hilbert method,the soliton matrices of the third-order flow GI equation with simple zeros and elementary high-order zeros of Riemann-Hilbert problem are constructed through the standard dressing *** advantage of this result,some properties and asymptotic analysis of single soliton solution and two soliton solution are discussed,and the simple elastic interaction of two soliton are *** with soliton solution of the classical second-order flow,we find that the higher-order dispersion term affects the propagation velocity,propagation direction and amplitude of the ***,by means of a certain limit technique,the high-order soliton solution matrix for the third-order flow GI equation is derived.

CF-DAN: Facial-expression recognition based on cross-fusion dual-attention network

Recently, facial-expression recognition (FER)has primarily focused on images in the wild, includingfactors such as face occlusion and image blurring, ratherthan laboratory images. Complex field environmentshave introduced new challenges to FER. To addressthese challenges, this study proposes a cross-fusion dualattention network. The network comprises three parts:(1) a cross-fusion grouped dual-attention mechanism torefine local features and obtain global information;(2) aproposed C2 activation function construction method,which is a piecewise cubic polynomial with threedegrees of freedom, requiring less computation withimproved ﬂexibility and recognition abilities, whichcan better address slow running speeds and neuroninactivation problems;and (3) a closed-loop operationbetween the self-attention distillation process andresidual connections to suppress redundant informationand improve the generalization ability of the *** recognition accuracies on the RAF-DB, FERPlus,and AffectNet datasets were 92.78%, 92.02%, and63.58%, respectively. Experiments show that this modelcan provide more effective solutions for FER tasks.
