Hepatectomy is still the major curative treatment for patients with liver ***,it is still a big challenge to remove the tumors in the central posterior area,especially if their location involves the retrohepatic inferior vena cava and hepatic *** vivo liver resection and auto-transplantation(ELRA),a hybrid technique of the traditional liver resection and transplantation,has brought new hope to these patients and therefore becomes a valid alternative to liver *** to its technical difficulty,ELRA is still concentrated in a few hepatobiliary centers that have experienced surgeons in both liver resection and liver *** efficacy and safety of this technique has already been demonstrated in the treatment of benign liver diseases,especially in the advanced alveolar ***,the application of ELRA for liver malignances has gained more ***,standardization of clinical practice norms and international consensus are still *** prognostic impact in these oncologic patients also needs further *** this review,we summarized the principles and recent progresses on ELRA.

BACKGROUND Limonin is one of the most abundant active ingredients of Tetradium *** exerts antitumor effects on several kinds of cancer ***,whether limonin exerts antitumor effects on colorectal cancer(CRC)cells and cancer stem-like cells(CSCs),a subpopulation responsible for a poor prognosis,is *** To evaluate the effects of limonin on CSCs derived from CRC *** CSCs were collected by culturing CRC cells in serum-free *** cytotoxicity of limonin against CSCs and parental cells(PCs)was determined by cholecystokinin octapeptide-8 *** effects of limonin on stemness were detected by measuring stemness hallmarks and sphere formation *** As expected,limonin exerted inhibitory effects on CRC cell behaviors,including cell proliferation,migration,invasion,colony formation and tumor formation in soft agar.A relatively low concentration of limonin decreased the expression stemness hallmarks,including Nanog andβ-catenin,the proportion of aldehyde dehydrogenase 1-positive CSCs,and the sphere formation rate,indicating that limonin inhibits stemness without presenting ***,limonin treatment inhibited invasion and tumor formation in soft agar and in nude ***,limonin treatment significantly inhibited the phosphorylation of STAT3 at Y705 but not S727 and did not affect total STAT3 *** of Nanog andβ-catenin expression and sphere formation by limonin was obviously reversed by pretreatment with 2μmol/L *** Taken together,these results indicate that limonin is a promising compound that targets CSCs and could be used to combat CRC recurrence and metastasis.

Munitions contain casings that consume explosive *** blast load(e.g.,peak overpressure and maximum impulse)intensity generated by ammunition explosion will be lower than that generated by a bare charge with equal *** evaluate the blast load of a cased charge under different conditions,the equivalent bare mass needs to be ***,the accuracy of existing correlations strongly depends on the empirical determination of relevant controlling parameters and lacks theoretical *** this paper,new correlations are proposed based on a more rigorous theoretical derivation,considering both the mechanical behaviors of the casing’s material and the change of the polytropic exponent during the expansion process of the explosion *** controlling parameters are attributed to the rupture radius ratio and the polytropic exponent of detonation products expansion to casing rupture *** reasonability is validated by both comprehensive numerical simulations with dynamic mechanical constitutive model and theoretical *** results calculated by the new correlation show better agreement with the experimental results than those calculated by previous correlations,and the results difference is explained in more consistency with the thermos-physical properties of the charge and mechanical behaviors of casing ***,the correlation of the cased-to-bare impulse ratio is also theoretically improved,providing a more accurate theoretical basis for both the equivalent bare mass and impulse evaluation for a cased charge.

In the study, we observed the strong adsorption of CdTe/CdS QDs to antibodies and the formation of QDs-antibodies conjugates. Capillary electrophoresis with laser-induced fluorescence detection （CE-LIF）, fluorescence spectrometry and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy （FCS） were used to characterize the QDs conjugates with antibody. We found that the QDs-antibody conjugates possessed high fluorescence, small hydrodynamic radii and good stability in aqueous solution. 2009 Ji Cun Ren. We study the magnetization of gapped spin 1/2 XXZ Heisenberg Ising chains and calculate the scattering length among massive spinons. We obtain the magnetization close to the critical external magnetic field. The leading correction term determined by the scattering length among massive spinons is given. Our results are in agreement with exact results and with experimental results. We show that the deviation from the massive free hard core boson picture can be accounted very well by the leading correction term due to the spinon-spinon interaction. We show that the deviation increases along with the increasing of the Ising term.
