Lowering the synthesis temperature of boron nitride nanotubes(BNNTs)is crucial for their *** primary reason for adopting a high temperature is to enable the effective activation of highmelting-point solid *** this study,we developed a novel approach for efficiently activating boron by introducing alkali metal compounds into the conventional MgO–B *** approach can be adopted to form various low-melting-point AM–Mg–B–O growth *** growth systems have improved catalytic capability and reactivity even under low-temperature conditions,facilitating the synthesis of BNNTs at temperatures as low as 850℃.In addition,molecular dynamics simulations based on density functional theory theoretically demonstrate that the systems maintain a liquid state at low temperatures and interact with N atoms to form BN *** findings offer novel insights into the design of boron activation and are expected to facilitate research on the low-temperature synthesis of BNNTs.

AAV2-PDE6B restores retinal structure and function in the retinal degeneration 10 mouse model of retinitis pigmentosa by promoting phototransduction and inhibiting apoptosis

Retinitis pigmentosa is a group of inherited diseases that lead to retinal degeneration and photoreceptor cell ***,there is no effective treatment for retinitis pigmentosa caused by PDE6B ***-associated virus(AAV)-mediated gene therapy is a promising strategy for treating retinitis *** aim of this study was to explore the molecular mechanisms by which AAV2-PDE6B rescues retinal *** do this,we injected retinal degeneration 10(rd10)mice subretinally with AAV2-PDE6B and assessed the therapeutic effects on retinal function and structure using dark-and light-adapted electroretinogram,optical coherence tomography,and ***-independent acquisition-mass spectrometry-based proteomic analysis was conducted to investigate protein expression levels and pathway enrichment,and the results from this analysis were verified by real-time polymerase chain reaction and western ***2-PDE6B injection significantly upregulated PDE6βexpression,preserved electroretinogram responses,and preserved outer nuclear layer thickness in rd10 *** expressed proteins between wild-type and rd10 mice were closely related to visual perception,and treating rd10 mice with AAV2-PDE6B restored differentially expressed protein expression to levels similar to those seen in wild-type *** Encyclopedia of Genes and Genome analysis showed that the differentially expressed proteins whose expression was most significantly altered by AAV2-PDE6B injection were enriched in phototransduction ***,the phototransductionrelated proteins Pde6α,Rom1,Rho,Aldh1a1,and Rbp1 exhibited opposite expression patterns in rd10 mice with or without AAV2-PDE6B ***,Bax/Bcl-2,p-ERK/ERK,and p-c-Fos/c-Fos expression levels decreased in rd10 mice following AAV2-PDE6B *** data suggest that AAV2-PDE6B-mediated gene therapy promotes phototransduction and inhibits apoptosis by inhibiting the ERK signaling pathway and upr

找出作为优质水源地的水库氮的来源对控制其富营养化问题非常重要.本研究选取杭嘉湖地区的4个水库(青山水库、对河口水库、四岭水库和里畈水库),利用氮、氧同位素技术结合稳定同位素模型(stable isotope analysis in R,SIAR),对水库的硝酸盐(NO_3^-)来源进行了识别并计算了各污染源的贡献率.结果表明,4个水库中存在严重的氮污染,以硝酸盐为主,受人类活动干扰较大的青山水库,污染严重.4个水库86%以上的δ^(18)O值小于10‰,93%样品的δ^(15)N/δ^(18)O值小于1.3,说明水库中硝化反应明显而反硝化作用不显著.4个水库硝酸盐的主要来源是化学肥料和土壤氮,两者的贡献率为75%~82%,种植业面源污染给水源地水库带来的氮污染已非常严重;青山水库硝酸盐的来源还包括贡献率为25%的生活污水及粪肥、贡献率为7%的降水和贡献率为6%的工业废水,说明在人类活动强度大的区域生活污水及粪肥的污染也不可忽视;对河口水库、四岭水库和里畈水库硝酸盐的来源还包括降水,其贡献率分别为21%、24%和15%,可见在人为干扰较少的地区,降水对于水体硝酸盐的影响也不可忽略.

Lithium-sulfur （Li-S） battery,as a promising next-generation high-energy-density battery,suffers from lithium polysulfides（LPSs） shuttle and Li dendrites *** crystalline framework-based membranes as separator can effectively absorb and restrain LPSs but without precise structural design principal exploration and mechanism ***,bio-inspired 1D oriented lithium-ion transport channels with molecular negatively charged PO3（-1） have been developed in hybrid tetrazole frameworks for promoting the transmission of Li+*** theoretical calculations and in situ spectroscopy demonstrated the higher binding energy and inhibited diffusion of LPSs in *** assembled PP@PO3Janus separator in Li-S coin cell delivered a high initial capacity of 1410.9 mAh g-1at 0.1 C and a low attenuation rate of 0.038%per cycle over 500 cycles at 5 ***,the high capacities of 862,542 and 409 mAh g-1based on high-sulfur-loading cathodes of 2.6,3.8 and 5.0 mg cm-2at0.5 C were achieved,***,the punch battery of PO3@PP separator with S-cathode of 1.2 mg cm-2has been developed for demonstrating its potentials commercial application,which displays impressive capacity of 873.4 mAh g-1with the retention of～78.9%over 50 cycles.

The atmospheric corrosion monitoring(ACM)technique has been widely employed to track the real-time corrosion behavior of metal ***,limited studies have applied ACM to the corrosion protection properties of organic *** study compared a bare epoxy coating with one containing zinc phosphate corrosion inhibitors,both applied on ACM sensors,to observe their corrosion protection properties over *** with artificial damage via scratches were exposed to immersion and alternating dry and wet environments,which allowed for monitoring galvanic corrosion currents in *** the corrosion tests,the ACM currents of the zinc phosphate/epoxy coating were considerably lower than those of the blank epoxy *** trend in ACM current variations closely matched the results obtained from regular electrochemical tests and surface *** alignment highlights the potential of the ACM technique in evaluating the corrosion protection capabilities of organic *** with the blank epoxy coating,the zinc phosphate/epoxy coating showed much-decreased ACM current values that confirmed the effective inhibition of zinc phosphate against steel corrosion beneath the damaged coating.

Effect of leflunomide on immunological liver injury in mice

AIM: To study the effect of leflunomide on immunologicalliver injury (ILI) in ***: ILI was induced by tail vein injection of 2.5 mgBacilluS Calmette-Guerin (BCG), and 10 d later with :L0 μglipopolysaccharide (LPS) in 0.2 mL saline (BCG+LPS). Thealanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(ASr), nitric oxide (NO) level in plasma and molondiadehyde(MDA), glutathione peroxidase (GSHpx) in liver homogenatewere assayed by spectroscopy. The serum content of tumornecrosis factors-α (TNF-α) was determined by ***-1 (IL-1), interleukin-2 (IL-2) and ConcanavalinA (ConA)-induced splenocyte proliferation response weredetermined by methods of 3H-infiltrated cell ***: Leflunomide (4, 12, 36 mg@kg-1) was found tosignificantly decrease the serum transaminase (ALT, AST)activity and MDA content in liver homogenate, and improvereduced GSHpx level of liver homogenate. Leflunomide (4,12, 36 mg@kg-1) significantly lowered TNF-α and NO level inserum, and IL-1 produced by intraperitoneal macrophagesinduced splenocyte proliferation response were ***: These findings suggested that leflunomidehad significant protective action on ILI in mice.
