Monascus purpureus M-32 fermented soybean meal improves the growth, immunity parameters, intestinal morphology, disease resistance, intestinal microbiota and metabolome in Pacific white shrimp(Litopenaeus vannamei)

This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of Monascus purpureus M-32 fermented soybean meal（MFSM） on growth, immunity, intestinal morphology, intestinal microbiota, and intestinal metabolome of Pacific white shrimp（Litopenaeus vannamei）. Four groups of diets were formulated, including control group（30% fish meal and 30% soybean meal [SBM] included in the basal diet） and three experimental groups which MFSM replaced 20%（MFSM20）, 40%（MFSM40）, and 60%（MFSM60） of SBM in control group, respectively. Results showed that the soluble proteins larger than 49 k Da in MFSM were almost completely degraded. Meanwhile, the crude protein, acid-soluble protein, and amino acid in MFSM were increased. The results of shrimp culture experiment showed that the replacement of SBM with MFSM decreased FCR（P < 0.001） and content of malondialdehyde（P = 0.007） in the experimental groups, and increased weight gain rate（P = 0.006）, specific growth rate（P = 0.002）, survival rate（P = 0.005）, intestinal villus height（P < 0.001）, myenteric thickness（P = 0.002）, the activities of superoxide dismutase（P = 0.002）, and lysozyme（P = 0.006） in experimental groups, as well as increased content of calcium(Ca2+) and phosphorus（■） in blood and muscle, and enhanced resistance to Vibrio parahaemolyticus infection. The gut microbiota of MFSM groups was significantly different from that of the control group,and the abundance of Actinobacteria and Verrucomicrobia increased significantly in the MFSM60 group,whereas Proteobacteria and Firmicutes decreased. Compared with the control group, there were significant changes in the levels of several intestinal metabolites in the MFSM60 group, including leukotriene C5, prostaglandin A1, taurochenodeoxycholic acid, carnosine, and itaconic acid. Polyethylene oxide(PEO)-based solid-state polymer electrolytes(SPEs)are limited by their poor cyclic stability and inferior ionic conductivity for applicating in high-safety,long-cycling and high-energy-density lithium metal ***,porous boron nitride nanofibers(BNNFs)are filled into PEO-based SPE,which significantly suppresses Li dendrites growth and enhances the electrochemical performance of Li metal *** with high porosity have more active sites to connect with PEO,which can effectively reduce the crystallinity of the PEO matrix and enhance its ionic ***,owing to the hardness and good stability of BNNFs,BNNFs/PEO/Li TFSI electrolyte exhibits a wider electrochemical window,better mechanical property and higher thermal stability compared with PEO/Li TFSI ***,the Li symmetric cell composed of 1%BNNFs/PEO/Li TFSI performs good cyclic stability(>1800 h),and the Li||1%BNNFs/PEO/Li TFSI||LFP full battery shows obviously improved performances in charge-discharge polarization voltage,discharge specific capacity,rate performance and cyclic stability than the Li||PEO/Li TFSI||LFP battery.

Centrifuge modeling of unreinforced and multi-row stabilizing piles reinforced landslides subjected to reservoir water level fluctuation

With the construction of the Three Gorges Reservoir dam,frequent reservoir landslide events have been *** recent years,multi-row stabilizing piles(MRSPs)have been used to stabilize massive reservoir landslides in *** this study,two centrifuge model tests were carried out to study the unreinforced and MRSP-reinforced slopes subjected to reservoir water level(RWL)operation,using the Taping landslide as a *** results indicate that the RWL rising can provide lateral support within the submerged zone and then produce the inward seepage force,eventually strengthening the slope ***,a rapid RWL drawdown may induce outward seepage forces and a sudden debuttressing effect,consequently reducing the effective soil normal stress and triggering partial pre-failure within the RWL fluctuation ***,partial deformation and subsequent soil structure damage generate excess pore water pressures,ultimately leading to the overall failure of the reservoir *** study also reveals that a rapid increase in the downslope driving force due to RWL drawdown significantly intensifies the lateral earth pressures exerted on the ***,the MRSPs possess a considerable reinforcement effect on the reservoir landslide,transforming the overall failure into a partial deformation and failure situated above and in front of the *** mechanical transfer behavior observed in the MRSPs demonstrates a progressive alteration in relation to RWL *** the RWL rises,the mechanical states among MRSPs exhibit a growing *** shear force transfer factor(*** ratio of shear forces on pile of the n th row to that of the first row)increases significantly with the RWL *** indicates that the mechanical states among MRSPs tend toward an enhanced *** insights gained from this study contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the failure mechanisms of reservoir landslides and the mechanical behavior of M

A gradient metamaterial with varying-stiffness local resonators is proposed to open the multiple bandgaps and further form a broad fusion ***,three local resonators with linearly increasing stiffness are periodically attached to the spring-mass chain to construct the gradient *** dispersion relation is then derived based on Bloch's theorem to reveal the fusion bandgap *** dynamic characteristic of the finite spring-mass chain is investigated to validate the fusion of multiple ***,the effects of the design parameters on multiple bandgaps are *** results show that the metamaterial with a non-uniform stiffness gradient pattern is capable of opening a broad fusion bandgap and effectively attenuating the longitudinal waves within a broad frequency region.

A cognitive spectrum allocation scheme for data transmission in smart distribution grids

As the communication needs in the smart distribution grid continue to rise,using existing resources to meet this growing demand poses a significant *** paper researches on spectrum allocation strategies utilizing cognitive radio(CR)*** consider a model containing strong time-sensitive and regular communication service requirements such as distribution terminal communication services,which can be seen as a user with primary data(PD)and weak time-sensitive services such as power quality monitoring,which can be seen as a user with secondary data(SD).To fit the diversity of services in smart distribution grids(SDGs),we formulate an optimization problem with two indicators,including the sum of SD transmission rates and the maximum latency of ***,we analyze the two convex sub-problems and utilize convex optimization methods to obtain the optimal power and frequency bandwidth allocation for the users with *** simulation results indicate that,when the available transmission power of SD is low,Maximization of Transmission Sum Rate(MTSR)achieves lower maximum transmit ***,when the available transmission power is high,the performance of Minimization of the Maximum Latency(MML)is better,compared with MTSR.

Atmospheric transmission algorithm for pulsed X-rays from high-altitude nuclear detonations based on scattering correction

In high-altitude nuclear detonations,the proportion of pulsed X-ray energy can exceed 70%,making it a specific monitoring signal for such *** pulsed X-rays can be captured using a satellite-borne X-ray detector following atmospheric *** quantitatively analyze the effects of different satellite detection altitudes,burst heights,and transmission angles on the physical processes of X-ray transport and energy fluence,we developed an atmospheric transmission algorithm for pulsed X-rays from high-altitude nuclear detonations based on scattering *** proposed method is an improvement over the traditional analytical method that only computes direct-transmission *** traditional analytical method exhibits a maximum relative error of 67.79% compared with the Monte Carlo *** improved method reduces this error to within 10% under the same conditions,even reaching 1% in certain ***,its computation time is 48,000 times faster than that of the Monte Carlo *** results have important theoretical significance and engineering application value for designing satellite-borne nuclear detonation pulsed X-ray detectors,inverting nuclear detonation source terms,and assessing ionospheric effects.

Effect of Phase Separation Size on the Properties of Self-healing Elastomer

Regulation of phase structure has been recognized as one of the most effective ways to fabricate self-healing polymers with high mechanical *** mechanical properties of the resultant polymers are certainly affected by the size of separated phase ***,the study on this aspect is absence,because it can hardly exclude the influence of variation in monomer proportion required for tuning the separated phase ***,we report the first study on tuning the phase size through reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT)polymerization without changing the proportion of *** expected,the size of separated phase has been successfully mediated from 15 nm to 9 nm by tuning the molecular weight of the chain transfer *** is found that the mechanical strength and the self-healing efficiency of the resultant polymers increase simultaneously with the decrease of phase *** study on the formation kinetics of hydrogen bonds reveals that the decrease of phase size can facilitate the re-bonding rate of hydrogen bonds,even if the migration of polymer chains is restricted.
