the influence of Re addition and withdrawal rate on the solidification behavior of the first generation single crystal superalloy AM3 was investigated by directional solidification and quenching *** primary dendrite arm spacing and eutectic volume fraction were measured from directionally solidified superalloy AM3 with different Re *** is found that the primary dendrite arm spacing is determined by the withdrawal rate,and Re does not influence on the *** eutectic fraction increases with increasing Re *** coeffcients of alloying elements were investigated with energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry（EDS） *** data was submitted to a statistical treatment to establish the solidification path,and the partition coeficients were measured by fitting the curve with a modified Scheil *** is shown that the addition of Re results in bigger microsegregation of alloying elements in directionally solidified AM3 superalloy.

A conventional X-ray difFractometer has been used to determine the -y/y＇ lattice misfit and γ＇ volume fraction for a Ru-containing nickel-based single crystal superalloy at room temperature. the rocking curve was used to characterize the distribution of subgrains. the diffraction peaks obtained by w-20 scan were used to determine the γ/γ＇ lattice misfit and γ＇ volume fraction. A three peaks fitting model was proposed. the peak fitting results are in good agreement with the model. the X-ray diffraction results indicate that the nickel-based single crystal superalloy was not a perfect monocrystalline material, which is comprised of many subgrains; and each subgrain also consists of large numbers of mosaic structures. In addition, two anomalous reflection phenomena were found during the experiment and discussed with respect to their occurrence and impact on the measurement. the experimental results show that the γ/γ＇ lattice misfit and ~/r volume fraction will be various at the different regions of its dendritic microstructure. the average γ/γ＇ lattice misfit and γ＇ volume fraction of the experimental alloy are approximately-0.2% and 70%, respectively. Furthermore, the γ＇ volume fraction calculated by atom microprobe （AP） data is also basically consistent with the experimental results.

Microstructural stability of a nickel base single crystal alloy DD8 has been *** heat treated specimen showed good microstructural stability at 950℃.While under the as-cast condition,a kind of rod-like phase precipitated in the interdendritic region of as-cast specimen during thermal *** phase,which has bcc structure,was enriched with ***-calc also predicted precipitation of a bcc phase at around 950℃.the Cr-rich bcc phase was considered asα-Cr and formed due to the segregation of Cr under the as-cast condition.

Based on the experimental results that solute-depleted zone was observed in Cu-28Zn-4AI (mass fraction) at 523 K, AG is calculated as a positive according to the thermodynamic criteria for the spinodal decomposition of a ternary systems. So, the solute-depleted zone cannot be formed by spinodal decomposition. Dislocation density required by the formation of solute-depleted zone is estimated greater than 7.89×109 cm-2, according to the segregation of solute atoms around dislocations, which is not consistent with the practical situation for the alloy at 523 K. Associated with the internal friction experimental fact that internal friction peaks appear within the incubation for bainitic transformation in Cu-Zn-AI alloy, the equilibrium temperature, tO, is evaluated as 433 K for solute-depleted Cu-25Zn-3.4AI, which is lower than the experimental temperature 523 K. thus, nucleation by shear mechanism is impossible in this circumstance. therefore, it is concluded that, like bainite in steels and Ag-Cd, bainite in Cu-Zn-AI alloys nucleates by diffusional mechanism, just implied by the experimental existence of solute-depleted zone.

Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) provide an appealing sustainable energy system,with the solid-electrolyte membrane playing a crucial role in its overall ***,sulfonated poly(1,4-phenylene ether-ether sulfone)(SPEES),an aromatic hydrocarbon polymer,has garnered considerable attention as an alternative to Nafion ***,the long-term durability and stability of SPEES present a significant *** this context,we introduce a potential solution in the form of an additive,specifically a core–shell-based amine-functionalized iron titanate (A–Fe_(2)tiO_(5)),which holds promise for improving the lifetime,proton conductivity,and power density of SPEES in *** modified SPEES/A–Fe_(2)tiO_(5)composite membranes exhibited notable characteristics,including high water uptake,enhanced thermomechanical stability,and oxidative ***,the SPEES membrane loaded with 1.2 wt%of A–Fe_(2)tiO_(5)demonstrates a maximum proton conductivity of 155 mS ccm^(-1),a twofold increase compared to the SPEES membrane,at 80°C under 100%relative humidity (RH).Furthermore,the 1.2 wt%of A–Fe_(2)tiO_(5)/SPEES composite membranes exhibited a maximum power density of 397.37 mW cm^(-2)and a current density of 1148 mA cm^(-2)at 60°C under 100%RH,with an opencircuit voltage decay of 0.05 m V/h during 103 h of continuous *** study offers significant insights into the development and understanding of innovative SPEES nanocomposite membranes for PEMFC applications.

For the first time,we have introduced the tetrahedron constellation of gravitational wave observatory(tEGO)composed of four identical spacecrafts(S/Cs).the laser telescopes and their pointing structures are mounted on the S/C platform and are evenly distributed at three locations 120 degrees *** structures form automatically a stable mass center for the *** time delay interferometry(tDI)is used to suppress the frequency noise of gravitational wave(GW)*** unequal-arm Michelson tDI configuration and the Sagnac tDI configuration are equally effective at eliminating the laser frequency noise based on the tEGO ***,compared with the configurations of LISA,taiji,and tian Qin,the tEGO has more combinations of optical paths in its tDI system sensitive to GW *** six arms of tEGO are simultaneously sensitive to the six polarization modes of *** sensitivity implies that GW modes beyond the predictions of general relativity(GR)can be detected *** instance,a scalar longitudinal mode of GWs,which is not predicted by GR,has been identified as a dominant polarization *** mode is found to be evident in the response amplitudes of the tEGO arms,such as between S/C1 and S/C4,and S/C3 and S/C4,at certain orbital positions.
