Studying the co.tro.s o. bio.ass allo.atio. trade-o.fs in plants are impo.tant since they affect harvestable pro.uct yields and are critical to.understanding symbio.ic *** fungal endo.hytes asso.iate with co.l-seaso. grasses,gro.ing systemically within the plant inter-cellular spaces and are transmitted thro.gh *** explo.e the endo.hytes influence o. the relatio.ship between the plant repro.uctive and vegetative abo.egro.nd bio.ass(repro.uctive effo.t:RE)and o. the trade-o.f between two.co.po.ents o. the repro.uctive bio.ass,number and weight o. panicles(RPN),using tall fescue as a mo.el *** endo.hyte-co.o.ized,manipulatively endo.hyte-free,and naturally endo.hyte-free plants fro. No.thern Euro.ean wild-po.ulatio.s to.ether with the cultivar Kentucky-31 were gro.n under different enviro.mental co.ditio.s(nutrients x water).The endo.hyte had an effect o. the RPN(E+:6.19,ME-:4.68 and E-:4.40)which indicates ho. repro.uctive bio.ass is partitio.ed into.number and mass o. panicles,but no. o. RE(≈0.06).As expected,wild plants sho.ed higher repro.uctive effo.t(≈0.06)co.pared to.the cultivar KY-31(0.05),irrespective o. endo.hyte ***-co.o.ized plants had lighter panicles than endo.hyte-free plants,a pattern that was clear amo.g lo.-yielding ***,the tradeo.f between RPN and RE was higher fo. endo.hyteco.o.ized *** was again evident amo.g plants with lo. RE indicating that co.o.ized plants split the yield into.either greater number o. panicles and/o. lighter *** effect o. vertically transmitted endo.hytes has earlier been studied as ratio.(***);ho.ever,o.r study sho.s that this appro.ch may hide size-dependent endo.hyte effects o. these *** study reveals that Neo.ypho.ium endo.hyte affects trade-o.fs in tall fescue plants in a co.plex manner,and is influenced by a number o. bio.o.ical and abio.ic facto.s.

The hydraulic fracturing is a no.linear,fluid-so.id co.pling and transient pro.lem,in mo.t cases it is always time-co.suming to.simulate this pro.ess *** recent years,altho.gh many numerical metho.s were pro.o.ed to.settle this pro.lem,mo.t o. them still require a large amo.nt o. co.puter *** it is a high demand to.develo. mo.e efficient numerical appro.ches to.achieve the real-time mo.ito.ing o. the fracture geo.etry during the hydraulic fracturing *** this study,a reduced o.der mo.eling technique namely Pro.er Generalized Deco.po.itio.(PGD),is applied to.accelerate the simulatio.s o. the transient,no.-linear co.pled system o. hydraulic fracturing pro.lem,to.match this extremely tight respo.se time *** separability o. the so.utio. in space and time dimensio.s is studied fo. a simplified mo.el *** so.id and fluid equatio.s are co.pled explicitly by inverting the so.id discrete pro.lem,and a simple iterative pro.edure to.handle the no.-linear characteristic o. the hydraulic fracturing pro.lem is pro.o.ed in this *** validatio. illustrates that the results o. AIM: To.evaluate whether serum levels o. nitric o.ide (No.·) and plasma levels o. cyclic guano.ine mo.o.ho.phate (cGMP) and to.al glutathio.e (GSH) are altered in patients with alco.o.ic cirrho.is and to.examine their co.relatio. with the severity o. liver ***: Twenty-six patients with alco.o.ic liver cirrho.is were studied. Serum levels o. No.· and plasma levels o. cGMP and GSH were measured in 7 patients with co.pensated alco.o.ic cirrho.is (Child-Pugh A) and 19 patients with advanced cirrho.is (Child-Pugh B and C). The mo.el fo. end-stage liver disease (MELD) sco.e was evaluated. Sixteen healthy vo.unteers served as co.tro.s. Liver enzymes and creatinine levels were also.***: No.· and cGMP levels were higher in patients with Child-Pugh B and C cirrho.is than in Child-Pugh A cirrho.is o. co.tro.s (No.·: 21.70 ± 8.07 vs 11.70 ± 2.74; 21.70 ± 8.07 vs 7.26 ± 2.47 μmo./L, respectively; P o./L, respectively; P o.al glutathio.e levels were lo.er in patients with Child-Pugh B and C cirrho.is than in patients with Child-Pugh A cirrho.is o. co.tro.s (16.04 ± 6.06 vs 23.01 ± 4.38 o. 16.04 ± 6.06 vs 66.57 ± 26.23 μmo./L, respectively; P o.relatio. between No.· and cGMP levels in all patients with alco.o.ic cirrho.is. Supercapacito.s(SCs) are high-po.er energy sto.age devices with ultra-fast charge/discharge *** using co.centrated aqueo.s-based electro.ytes can wo.k at lo. temperatures due to.their intrinsic pro.erties, such as higher freezing po.nt depressio.(FPD) and ro.ustness. Besides the traditio.al o.ganic-and aqueo.s-based(salt-in-water) electro.ytes used in SCs, water-in-salt(WISE) so.ium perchlo.ate electro.ytes o.fer high FPD, no.-flammability, and lo.-to.icity co.ditio.s, allo.ing the fabricatio. o. safer, enviro.mentally friendly, and mo.e ro.ust devices. Fo. the first time, this wo.k repo.ts a co.prehensive study regarding WISE system’s charge-sto.age capabilities and physico.hemical pro.erties under lo.-temperature co.ditio.s(T o.o.o.s carbo.-based electro.es. The effect o. temperature reductio. o. the electro.yte visco.ity and electrical pro.erties was investigated using different techniques and the in-situ(o. o.erando. Raman spectro.co.y under dynamic po.arizatio. *** cell vo.tage, equivalent series resistance, and specific capacitance were investigated as a functio. o. the temperature. The cell vo.tage(U) increased ~ 50%, while the specific capacitance decreased ~20%when the temperature was reduced fro. 25 ℃ to.-10 ℃. As a result, the maximum specific energy(E = CU^(2)/2) increased ~ 100%. Therefo.e, lo.-temperature WISEs are pro.ising candidates to.impro.e the energy-sto.age characteristics in SCs.
