Colorectal cancer(CRC) is one of the major causes of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Most near-infrared(NIR) agents used in clinical CRC treatment are at NIR-I(700–900 nm) window, which has limitations on deep tissue, and fluorescent probes in the second NIR(1,000–1,700 nm) allow high-resolution bioimaging with deep tissue penetration. However, existing NIR-II fluorophores used in clinical are still rare. Herein, based on shielding-donor-acceptor-donor-shielding(s-D-A-D-s) scaffold, we developed an organic small-molecule fluorophore IR-BTGP with NIR-II emission for imaging-guided photothermal therapy(PTT) in CRC mice model. Amphiphilic IR-BTGP can be self-assembled into spherical nano-micelles, which presents reliable water solubility and photothermal conversion efficiency(30.2%). In vitro experiments indicate that cancer cells treated with IRBTGP were significantly killed upon 808 nm light irradiation. Furthermore, in vivo NIR-II fluorescence imaging confirms that IR-BTGP accumulates in the tumor region. Remarkably, a significant tumor inhibition rate(78.5%) was observed in tumorbearing mice when treated with IR-BTGP plus 808 nm irradiation. Therefore, this work shows that IR-BTGP holds great promise as an NIR-II fluorescence imaging-guided PTT platform for CRC in the future.

Built-in electric field induced s-scheme g-C_(3)N_(4)homojunction for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen evolution:Interfacial engineering and morphology control

s-scheme possesses superior redox capabilities compared with the II-scheme,providing an effective method to solve the innate defects of g-C_(3)N_(4)(CN).In this study,s-doped g-C_(3)N_(4)/g-C_(3)N_(4)(sCN-tm/CN)s-scheme homojunction was constructed by rationally integrating morphology control with interfacial engineering to enhance the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution ***-situ Kelvin probe force microscopy(KPFM)confirms the transport of photo-generated electrons from CN to *** functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the generation of a built-in electric field between sCN and CN enables the carrier separation to be more efficient and *** transient absorption spectrum(fs-TAs)indicates prolonged lifetimes of sCN-tm/CN_(3)(τ1:9.7,τ2:110,andτ3:1343.5 ps)in comparison to those of CN(τ1:4.86,τ2:55.2,andτ3:927 ps),signifying that the construction of homojunction promotes the separation and transport of electron hole pairs,thus favoring the photocatalytic *** visible light irradiation,the optimized sCN-tm/CN_(3)exhibits excellent photocatalytic activity with the hydrogen evolution rate of 5407.3μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),which is 20.4 times higher than that of CN(265.7μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1)).Moreover,the homojunction also displays an apparent quantum efficiency of 26.8%at 435 nm as well as ultra-long and ultra-stable cycle *** work offers a new strategy to construct highly efficient photocatalysts based on the metal-free conjugated polymeric CN for realizing solar energy conversion.

ADAM8 has been identified as the fibronectin-cleaving enzyme in human degenerative intervertebral disc(IVD)tissues.^(1)Increase of the active form of ADAM8 and its cleavage product,fibronectin fragment,correlated with an increased degree of IVD degeneration.1 Furthermore,fibronectin fragments have been shown to accelerate the progression of IVD degeneration.^(2)These findings suggest that ADAM8 may play a role in degenerative disc disease,a clinical problem with tremendous socioeconomic burdens in the United states.

Residual subsidence time series model in mountain area caused by underground mining based on GNss online monitoring

The residual subsidence caused by underground mining in mountain area has a long subsidence duration time and great potential harm,which seriously threatens the safety of people's production and life in the mining ***,it is necessary to use appropriate monitoring methods and mathematical models to effectively monitor and predict the residual subsidence caused by underground *** with traditional level survey and InsAR(Interferometric synthetic Aperture Radar)technology,GNss(Global Navigation satellite system)online monitoring technology has the advantages of long-term monitoring,high precision and more flexible monitoring *** empirical equation method of residual subsidence in mining subsidence is effectively combined with the rock creep equation,which can not only describe the residual subsidence process from the mechanism,but also predict the residual ***,based on GNss online monitoring technology,combined with the mining subsidence model of mountain area and adding the correlation coefficient of the compaction degree of caving broken rock and the Kelvin model of rock mechanics,this paper constructs the residual subsidence time series model of arbitrary point on the ground in mountain *** the example,the predicted results of the model in the inversion parameter phase and the dynamic prediction phase are compared with the measured data *** results show that the model can carry out effective numerical calculation according to the GNss monitoring data of any point on the ground,and the model prediction effect is good,which provides a new method for the prediction of residual subsidence in mountain mining.

Mask image projection-based vat photopolymerization(MIP-VPP)offers advantages like low cost,high resolution,and a wide material range,making it popular in industry and ***,MIP-VPP employing liquid crystal displays(LCDs)has gained traction,increasingly replacing digital micromirror devices,particularly among hobbyists and in educational settings,and is now beginning to be used in industrial ***,LCD-based MIP-VPPsuffers from pronounced pixelated aliasing arising from LCD’s discrete image pixels and itsdirect-contact configuration in MIP-VPP machines,leading to rough surfaces on the 3D-printed ***,we propose a vibration-assisted MIP-VPP method that utilizes a microscalevibration to uniformize the light intensity distribution of the LCD-based mask image on VPP’s building *** maintaining the same fabrication speed,our technique generates asmoother,non-pixelated mask image,reducing the roughness on flat surfaces and boundary segments of 3D-printed *** light intensity modeling and simulation,we derived an optimal vibration pattern for LCD mask images,subsequently validated by *** assessed the surface texture,boundary integrity,and dimensional accuracy of componentsproduced using the vibration-assisted *** notably smoother surfaces and improved boundary roughness enhance the printing quality of MIP-VPP,enabling its promisingapplications in sectors like the production of 3D-printed optical devices and others.
