Acoustic Conditioning System Development and Conditioning Experiments on Black Seabreams in the Xiangshan Bay Sea Ranch

Attracting released hatchery-reared fish to designated areas during the growth process is vital to realize the objectives of sea ranching. Based on the bottom artificial reefs and surface kelp culture facilities in the Xiangshan Bay sea ranch, we proposed systematic techniques related to acoustic conditioning of the black seabream(Sparus macrocephalus). Experiments conducted in 12 m × 10 m × 1.6 m ponds on Xixuan Island showed that black seabream was positively sensitive to 500–600 Hz periodic signals. Conditioned responses were apparent after 8 d. Two to three days were required for recovery of the memory of a conditioned response after a 20-day interval. According to the practical application requirements in the open sea, unattended acoustic conditioning equipment was developed. The ranching equipment was used in 12 m × 12 m × 2.5 m cages, and the behavior of black seabream juveniles was successfully guided after 7 days. Of the 16000 released fish, 82.5% of them were conditioned with a flexible grading net. To avoid inducing a stress response, the juveniles were released into the sea ranch in situ from the net cage. The acoustic conditioning equipments were moved into the open sea and the aggregation phenomenon of the released fish was observed when the sound was played. After 6 months of investigation and based on Sr+ marking, only one acoustically conditioned fish was found outside the 3.5-km^2 sea ranch area, thereby reached the goal of guiding activity. The practical effect in the Xiangshan Bay sea ranch showed the validity of the acoustic conditioning system, which may contribute to improve the operation of the sea ranches in the East China Sea.

The noise spectral characteristics and noise reduction schemes of screw air-source heat pump:A case study

The screw air-source heat pump can cause incessant high noise levels during operation,which might hinder adoption of this energy-efficient heat ***,acoustic measurements and comparison testing were performed in this *** measurements revealed that the compressor is the main noise source of the heat pump,and it shows a multipeak frequency distribution and a wide frequency spectrum under different work conditions,with multiple peaks at 63,250,and 1000 ***,a compressor sound insulation cover with broadband absorption was proposed,and it was experimentally proven that the insulation cover can reduce the maximum sound pressure level of one unit from 89.8 dBA to 79.1 ***,we proposed several noise reduction strategies and compared their noise reduction effects using computer *** results showed that the noise problem can be effectively improved through the rational design of the sound barrier and the layout and opening options of heat *** distance between the sound barrier and heat pump and the sound attenuation due to diffraction ALa exhibit a U-shaped *** buildings of different heights,the optimal heights of noise barrier are *** 5.5-meter is the optimal height of the sound barrier for single-story *** conclusions can be applied to other building projects for heat pump noise reduction.

Replacement of Dietary Fish Oil with Vegetable Oils Improves the Growth and Flesh Quality of Large Yellow Croaker(Larmichthys crocea)

We investigated the effect of the replacement of dietary fish oil with vegetable oils on the growth and flesh quality of large yellow croaker(Larmichthys crocea). The basal diet(FO) was formulated to contain 66.5% fish meal and 6.4% menhaden fish oil; whereas the other 3 experimental diets were formulated by replacing the fish oil with 50% soybean oil(SO50), 100% soybean oil(SO100) and 100% palm oil(PO100), respectively. The 4 diets were randomly assigned to 4 floating sea cages(3.0 m × 3.0 m × 3.0 m), and each was stocked with 250 fish individuals with an initial average weight of 245.29 g ± 7.45 g. The fish were fed to apparent satiation twice a day at 5:00 and 17:00, respectively, for 12 weeks. Experimental analysis showed that the specific growth rate of fish fed SO50 or PO100 were significantly higher than that of fish fed FO or SO100(P0.05). Compared to FO diet, SO50, SO100 and PO100 diets led to substantial decreases in the liquid loss and water loss from fresh fillets(1 d, 4℃)(P<0.05). Similarly, thiobarbituric acid reactive substance(TBARS) values of fillets under different storage conditions(1 d, 4℃; 7 d, 4℃; 4 weeks,-20℃; 8 weeks,-20℃) decreased significantly after partial or complete replacement of fish oil with vegetable oils. These findings indicated that the growth performance and selected flesh quality properties(liquid holding capacity and TBARS value) of large yellow croaker were substantially improved by replacing dietary fish oil with vegetable oils.

Effectiveness of stocking Sparus macrocephalus fry in situ in the East China Sea

The sea area surrounding Baishishan Island has abundant fishery resources because of its plentiful food and rocky reefs that provide refuge from ***,overfishing has occurred in many areas and some species’local populations need to be replenished through stocking *** case study,using Sparus microcephalus as the test species,designed and analyzed detailed stocking strategies to improve the survival ratio and control the active range of the released *** variables included release location,release time,and tidal *** stocking strategies were designed,executed,and evaluated for comparison.A traditional stocking method was applied to the high flow area of Baishishan Island in Xiangshan Bay,East China *** released fry were transported by boat and released to the sea using *** fish were traced using plastic *** average distance of the 19 recaptured fry from the release point was 7.6 km with 52.9%mortality *** distance at recapture and mortality rate among recaptured individuals showed that the traditional releasing method was not *** in situ stocking method was used in a low tide area and natural process was imitated to decrease the stress response and promote physiological *** purpose of this method was to prolong the release process applying temporary net cages at the release location,which resulted in a regional distribution of the released fish and possibly improving the food availability.A new Sr+tagging technique was adopted to evaluate the release effect and quantify comparative release *** 1 fish among the 354 caught was found farther than 1 km from the release point in the following 6 *** results validated the promotion of the new stocking technique.

Particle size dependence of the microsegregation and microstructure in the atomized Ni-based superalloy powders:Theoretical and experimental study

The microstructure and microsegregation of atomized powder,which depend on their sizes,are of great importance to the mechanical properties of the consolidated bulk ***,it is necessary to reveal the relationship between particle size and powder *** effects of particle size on the so-lidification characterization of the atomized Ni-based superalloy powders were studied via finite element *** on the simulations,a model was developed to predict the microsegregation and mi-crostructure of atomized powders with different sizes and study the influence of thermal history on the powder attributes during the atomization *** radiation heat transfer and temperature gradi-ent within the rapid solidification alloy powders were taken into account in this *** validating the accuracy of the model,the predictions of the present model were compared with the microsegregation and microstructure of the specific size powder close to the screen mesh *** results showed that mi-crostructure depended primarily on the temperature gradient within the powder,while the solidification rate had a more significant effect on the *** model predicted microstructure features in agreement with the experiment,and for microsegregation,the deviations of prediction for most ele-ments were less than 10%.This work provides a new model to precisely predict the microsegregation and microstructure of the atomized alloy powders and sets a foundation to control the powder features for various engineering applications.

Cu/Mo2C synthesized through Anderson-type polyoxometalates modulate interfacial water structure to achieve hydrogen evolution at high current density

The development of efficient non-precious metal catalysts is important for the large-scale application of alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Here,we synthesized a composite catalyst of Cu and Mo_(2)C(Cu/Mo_(2)C)using Anderson-type polyoxometalates(POMs)synthesized by the facile soaking method as *** electronic interaction between Cu and Mo_(2)C drives the positive charge of Cu,alleviating the strong adsorption of hydrogen at the Mo site by modulating the d-band center of Mo_(2)*** studying the interfacial water structure using in situ attenuated total reflection surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy(ATR-SEIRAS),we determined that the positively charged Cu crystals have the function of activating water molecules and optimizing the interfacial water *** interfacial water of Cu/Mo_(2)C contains a large amount of free water,which could facilitate the transport of reaction *** to activated water molecules and optimized interfacial water structure and hydrogen adsorption energy,the overpotential of Cu/Mo_(2)C is 24 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2) and 178 mV at a current density of 1000 mA·cm^(-2).This work improves catalyst performance in terms of interfacial water structure optimization and deepens the understanding of water-mediated catalysis.

“第二个结合”的提出经过了一个长期的、连续的过程。近代以来,民族危机深重,一些进步知识分子逐渐从被动接受西方文化转变为主动向西方文化学习,并在这一过程中坚持中华文化主体性。中国早期马克思主义者对代表旧制度和旧文明的传统文化基本持批判态度,毛泽东则主张将中华民族历史遗产和传统文化中的优秀元素化用到自己的思想和理论体系中,为我们党正确对待中华传统文化提供了基本遵循。改革开放以来,中国共产党人逐步认识到,中华民族的优秀传统文化在马克思主义中国化和社会主义现代化建设中发挥着重要作用,因此提倡继承和弘扬中华优秀传统文化。中国特色社会主义进入新时代,习近平高度重视文化建设,把文化自信和道路自信、理论自信、制度自信并列为中国特色社会主义的“四个自信”,推进我国文化建设在正本清源、守正创新中取得历史性成就,最终提出“第二个结合”的理论。

贝类对对虾养殖池塘沉积物中小型底栖动物的影响

通过分析凡纳滨对虾单养及其与泥蚶混养实验的沉积物的理化特性、小型底栖动物种类组成及其生物量的变化,研究贝类对对虾池中小型底栖动物的影响。实验中对虾放养密度均为17×10~4个/hm~2,泥蚶密度分别为0粒/m~2(S)、60粒/m~2(SC1)、120粒个/m~2(SC2)和180粒/m~2(SC3)。结果显示,随养殖时间增加:(1)沉积物中有机物含量呈上升趋势,pH与氧化还原电位逐渐下降;随贝类放养密度增加,底质环境恶化程度趋缓;(2)小型底栖动物的丰度和生物量呈下降趋势,随着贝类放养密度增加,小型底栖动物的群落结构变化逐渐减少;(3)回归分析表明,介形类与线虫比值与对虾产量呈较好的相关性,一定密度贝类混养有利于底泥中介形类与线虫比值的提高,初步结果为养殖过程中该比值平均要达到6,单次值不低于3.5。研究表明,对虾与泥蚶混养有利于底质的改善和小型底栖动物的生长,较高密度的泥蚶(80~140个/m~2)有明显净化底质的作用。
