The objective of this investigation is to assess the effect of obstacles on numerical heat transfer and fluid flow momentum in a rectangular microchannel(MC).Two distinct configurations were studied:one without obstacles and the other with alternating obstacles placed on the upper and lower *** research utilized the thermal lattice Boltzmann method(LBM),which solves the energy and momentum equations of fluids with the BGK approximation,implemented in a Python coding *** jump and slip velocity conditions were utilized in the simulation for the MC and extended to all obstacle *** study aims to analyze the rarefaction effect,with Knudsen numbers(Kn)of 0.012,0.02,and *** outcomes indicate that rarefaction has a significant impact on the velocity and temperature *** presence of nine obstacles led to slower fluid movement inside the microchannel MC,resulting in faster cooling at the *** MCs with obstacles,the rarefaction effect plays a crucial role in decreasing the Nusselt number(Nu)and skin friction coefficient(Cf).Furthermore,the study demonstrated that the obstacles played a crucial role in boosting fluid flow and heat transfer in the *** findings suggest that the examined configurations could have potential applications as cooling technologies in micro-electro-mechanical systems and microdevice applications.

In the last few years the numerical methods for solving the fractional differential equations started to be applied intensively to real world phenomena. Having these things in mind in this manuscript we focus on the fractional Lagrangian and Harniltonian of the complex Bateman-Feshbach Tikochinsky oscillator. The numerical analysis of the corresponding fractionaJ Euler-Lagrange equations is given within the Griinwald-Letnikov approach, which is power series expansion of the generating function.

Conventional control systems used for regulated power supplies,including the proportional integral and derivation(PID)controller,have some serious *** PID controller has a delayed feedback associated with the control action and requires a lot of mathematical *** paper presents a novel controlling system based on the artificial neural network(ANN),which can be used to regulate the output voltage of the DC power *** MATLABTM,the designed control system was tested and analyzed with two types of back-propagation *** paper presents the results of the simulation that includes sum-squared error(SSE)and mean-squared error(MSE),and gives a detailed comparison of these values for the two *** verification of the new system,using RS232 interface and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0,was implemented,showing very good consistency with the simulation *** proposed control system,compared to PID and other conventional controllers,requires less mathematical derivation in design and it is easier to implement.

We investigate the spectral response of nanostructured copper oxides thin film. Gold was doped in two different concentrations(2% and 4%) using the spray method. A novel ammonia gas sensor at various concentrations(0–500 ppm)was fabricated by replacing CuO films with a clad region. In addition, the effect of gold doping on structural, optical,and morphological properties has been demonstrated. The study shows that the spectral intensity increases linearly with ammonia concentration. The 4% Au doped CuO presents higher sensitivity compared with 2% doped and pure copper oxides. Time response characteristics of the sensor are also reported.
