Small RNA(sRNA)-mediated RNA silencing(also known as RNA interference,or RNAi)is a conserved mechanism in eukaryotes that includes RNA degradation,DNA methylation,heterochromatin formation and protein translation *** plants,sRNAs can move either cell-to-cell or systemically,thereby acting as mobile silencing signals to trigger noncell autonomous ***,whether and what proteins are also involved in noncell autonomous silencing have not been *** this study,we utilized a previously reported inducible RNAi plant,PDSi,which can induce systemic silencing of the endogenous PDS gene,and we demonstrated that DCL3 is involved in systemic PDS silencing through its RNA binding *** confirmed that the C-terminus of DCL3,including the predicted RNA-binding domain,is capable of binding short *** affecting RNA binding,but not processing activity,reduced systemic PDS silencing,indicating that DCL3 binding to RNAs is required for the induction of systemic *** mosaic virus infection assays showed that the RNA-binding activity of DCL3 is required for antiviral RNAi in systemically noninoculated *** findings demonstrate that DCL3 acts as a signaling agent involved in noncell autonomous silencing and an antiviral effect in addition to its previously known function in the generation of 2.-nucleotide sRNAs.

In this study,the cooling rate was manipulated by quenching with water of different temperatures(30,60 and 100℃).Surface and internal residual stresses in the quenched 6061 aluminum alloy samples were measured using hole-drilling and crack compliance methods,***,the processability of the quenched samples was evaluated at cryogenic *** mechanical properties of the as-aged samples were assessed,and microstructure evolution was *** surface residual stresses of samples W30℃,W60℃and W100℃is−178.7,−161.7 and−117.2.MPa,respectively along x-direction,respectively;and−191.2.−172.1 and−12..2.MPa,respectively along *** sample quenched in boiling water displaying the lowest residual stress(~34%and~60%reduction in the surface and core).The generation and distribution of quenching residual stress could be attributed to the lattice distortion *** plasticity was also exhibited in the samples with relatively low quenching cooling rates at cryogenic *** strengthes of the as-aged samples are 2.1.2.to 2.0.1 MPa as the quenching water temperature increase from 30℃to 100℃.Fine and homogeneous β"phases were observed in the as-aged sample quenched with boiling water due to the clusters and Guinier-Preston zones(GP zones)premature precipitated during quenching process.

BACKGROUND Accumulating evidence suggests that the inflammatory cytokine interleukin-6(IL-6)contributes to the pathophysiology of psychiatric ***,there was no study concerning the relationship between IL-6 concentrations and clinical features in the chronic phase of early-onset schizophrenia(EOS).AIM To investigate the relationship between serum IL-6 concentration and the clinical features of *** We measured serum IL-6 Levels from 74 patients with chronic schizophrenia,including 33 with age at onset2. years(EOS group)and 41 with onset≥2. years in[adult-onset schizophrenia(AOS)group],and from 41 healthy *** severities were evaluated using the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS).RESULTS Serum IL-6 concentrations were higher in both EOS and AOS groups than healthy controls(F=2..32.Pen EOS and AOS groups(P>0.05)after controlling for age,body mass index,and other *** symptom scores were higher in the EOS group than the AOS group(F=6.199,P=0.015).Serum IL-6 concentrations in the EOS group were negatively correlated with both total PANSS-negative symptom score(r=-0.389,P=0.032.and avolition/asociality subscore(r=-0.387,P=0.02.).CONCLUSION Patients with EOS may have more severe negative symptoms than those with adult-onset schizophrenia during the chronic phase of the ***-6 signaling may regulate negative symptoms and its avolition/asociality subsymptoms among the early-onset chronic schizophrenic patients.
