Enhancing leaching efficiency of ion adsorption rare earths by ameliorating mass transfer effect of rare earth ions by applying an electric field

Improving the seepage of leaching solution in the ore body and strengthening the mass transfer process of rare earth ions during in-situ leaching are two critical methods to improve the leaching efficiency of rare *** this study,2 wt%MgSO_(4)solution was used for the indoor simulated column leaching experiment on rare earth samples and an electric field was applied at both ends of the *** the effects of different intensities,initial application time and duration of the electric field on the rare earth leaching system and its mechanism were *** results show that compared with the single MgSO_(4)solution leaching,applying an electric field with a strength of 6 V/cm can save the leaching time of 30 min and increase the flow velocity of the rare earth leachate by 26.98%.Under the optimal conditions of applying an electric field with a strength of 6 V/cm for 20 min to the leaching system after10 min of the rare earth leachate flowing out,the leaching efficiency of sample increases from 81.20% to 86.05% with the increase of 4.85%.The mechanism analysis shows that when a direct current electric field is applied to the rare earth leaching system,rare earth ions rapidly change from disorderly movement with the seepage into faster and directional *** addition,the seepage of the leaching solution is also improved due to the increase of the cross-sectional area of the seepage channel,the polarized water molecules migrate directionally by force from the negative pole,and the movement of the hydrogen is generated by the electrolytic *** impo rtantly,based on the principle of in-situ leaching process,the layout of injection holes and deflector holes in this process provides a natural site for the electrode layout of the electric *** the simple equipme nt and the ope ration,the rare earth leaching process with the applied electric field has high feasibility in industrial application.

Numerical investigations of floating platforms with different outer column inclined angles under two operating conditions of regular wave and irregular wave are presented in this paper.A coupled aero-hydrodynamic computational fluid dynamics in-house solver FOWT-UALM-SJTU is applied for the ***,the validation for wave and wind generation are conducted to determine mesh distribution *** on these,the hydrodynamic motion response,aerodynamic performance and wake flow are analyzed to explore the impact of inclined *** spectral analysis on the motion response under wave action,discuss the aerodynamic attack angle and inflow wind velocity along the blade spanwise direction in detail,reveal different trends in wake development and *** results show that for the regular wave condition with the increase of inclined angles,the equilibrium position of surge motion is constantly rising,while pitch is *** maximum root mean square(rms)value occurs at angle=30°,compared with the original OC4 FOWT,the rms in power and thrust increase 0.35%,0.71%.And there are two low regions of attack angle and high regions of axial inflow velocity,corresponding to aerodynamic *** spectral analysis indicates that the natural frequency of pitch motion will increase with inclined ***,from the middle to far region of wake flow,the velocity recovery of FOWT with inclined angle will become faster,which is beneficial for downstream turbines to enhance more wind energy.

Rare earth ion-doped Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12)(YAG)-based transparent ceramics have been used as important laser gain media for a long time,yet the doping concentration of active ions is limited due to concentration quenching,wherein the inflexion concentration quenching of Nd^(3+)is recognized as 1.0 at%.In this work,YAG-Al_(2)O_(3) nanocrystalline transparent ceramics with a concentration of Nd^(3+)(O-5.0 at%)were fabricated via amorphous crystallization,and the crystal structure evolution,morphology,and optical properties were systematically investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),magnetic resonation(MAS),nuclear magnetic resonation(NMR),and fluorescence *** doping of Nd^(3+)can promote the transition of Al[5]and Al[6]to Al[14],indicating improvements in the ability of the amorphous material to form Nd^(3+):Y_(2)O_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3) vitrified beads,and 1.5 at%Nd^(3+):YAG-Al_(2)O_(3) nanocrystalline transparent ceramics can be obtained by crystallization at 1050℃ with a matrix composed of YAG and concomitant δ-Al_(2)O_(3) and θ-Al_(2)O_(3).The nanocrystalline transparent ceramics show an internal transmitance of 89.56%at 1064 nm,and the strongest emission peak corresponds to the energy transfer from 4F_(3/2) to 4l_(11/2) of Nd^(3+)with a fluorescence lifetime of 2.1μs when pumped by an 808 nm ***,spectral broadening begins to occur,indicating the onset of concentration quenching,when the concentration of Nd^(3+)exceeds 1.5 at%,substantially higher than the 1.0 at% observed in YAG ***-Al_(2)O_(3) nanocrystalline transparent ceramics obtained by amorphous crystalization can be utilized as the matrix to increase the inflexion point of doping concentration quenching of Nd^(3+),and this material may have great potential as a laser gain medium.

Porous flower-like SnO_(2)/CdSnO_(3) microstructures self-assembled by uniform nanosheets were synthesized using a hydrothermal process followed by calcination,and the sensing performance was measured when a gas sensor,based on such microstructures,was exposed to various volatile organic compound(VOC)*** response value was found to reach as high as 100.1 when the SnO_(2)/CdSnO_(3) sensor was used to detect 100 ppm formaldehyde gas,much larger than those of other tested VOC gases,indicating the high gas sensitivity possessed by this sensor especially in the detection of formaldehyde ***,the response/recovery process was fast with the response time and recovery time of only 13 and 21 s,*** excellent gas sensing performance derive from the advantages of SnO_(2)/CdSnO_(3),such as abundant n-n heterojunctions built at the interface,high available specific surface area,abundant porosity,large pore size,and rich reactive oxygen species,as well as joint effects arising from SnO_(2) and CdSnO_(3),suggesting that such porous flower-like SnO_(2)/CdSnO_(3) microstructures composed of nanosheets have a high potential for developing gas sensors.

Capacitors are widely used in pulsed magnet power supplies to reduce ripple voltage,store energy,and decrease power *** this study,DC-link capacitors in pulsed power supplies were *** deriving an analytical method for the capacitor current on the H-bridge topology side,the root-mean-square value of the capacitor current was calculated,which helps in selecting the DC-link *** proposed method solves this problem quickly and with high *** current reconstruction of the DC-link capacitor is proposed to avoid structural damage in the capacitor’s current measurement,and the capacitor’s hotspot temperature and temperature rise are calculated using the FFT *** test results showed that the error between the calculated and measured temperature increases was within 1.5℃.Finally,the lifetime of DC-link capacitors was predicted based on Monte Carlo *** proposed method can evaluate the reliability of DC-link capacitors in a non-isolated switching pulsed power supply for accelerators and is also applicable to film capacitors.

Evolution of interfacial heat transfer,contact behavior and microstructure during sub-rapid solidification of molten steel with different hydrogen contents

Typical Q235 low-carbon steel samples with different hydrogen contents(0.0004,0.0008,and 0.0013 wt.%)were prepared by adjusting the environment humidity and *** effects of hydrogen on interfacial heat transfer,contact behavior,and microstructure evolution were investigated using a novel droplet solidification *** results revealed that when the hydrogen content increases from 0.0004 to 0.0013 wt.%,the maximum heat flux between the molten steel and cooling substrate decreases from 8.01 to 6.19 MW/m^(2),and the total heat removed in the initial 2 s reduces from 10.30 to 8.27 MJ/m^(2).Moreover,the final contact angle between the molten steel and substrate increases from 103.741°to 113.697°,and the number of pores on the droplet bottom surface increases significantly from 21 to 210 with the increase in *** surface roughness of the droplet bottom surface increases from 20.902 to 49.181 *** addition,the average grain size of the droplet increases from 14.778 to 33.548 pm with the increase in the hydrogen *** interfacial contact condition becomes worse due to the escape of hydrogen from the steel matrix during the cooling process,which leads to the reduction in the interfacial heat transfer and the increase in the grain size.

To address the limitations of conventional nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems,this work developed enzyme and reduction dual-responsive polymeric *** micelles were synthesized with copolymers composed of TPGS_(3350)-PVGLIG-DOX(TPD)and FA-SS-DOX(FSD),which endow them with tumor-targeted drug delivery ***_(3350)contributes to extending the circulation of micelles in body,augmenting their accumulation in tumor tissues via the enhanced permeability and retention(EPR)*** localized the tumor site,matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP2)cleaves the PVGLIG peptide moiety within the micelles,thereby releasing TPGS_(3350)and exposing the targeting ligand of *** approach enables the subsequent internalization of the micelles by tumor cells through folate receptor-mediated *** internalization,the high intracellular concentration of glutathione(GSH)triggers the reduction of the disulfide bond within the FA-SS-DOX,leading to the release of the anticancer-drug doxorubicin(DOX),which promotes apoptosis in the tumor cells and enhances the efficacy of chemotherapy.
