Colorectal cancer(CRC) is a malignancy of the digestive system that poses a serious threat to human life and health. Approximately 1.93 million new CRC cases were identified in 2020, including0.94 million CRC-related deaths worldwide, which accounted for 10% of the global cancer incidence and 9.4% of all cancer-related fatalities[1].

Multi-faults detection is a challenge for rolling bearings due to the mode mixture and coupling of multiple fault features,as well as its easy burying in the complex,non-stationary structural vibrations and strong background noises.In this paper,a method based on the flexible analytical wavelet transform(FAWT)possessing fractional scaling and translation factors is proposed to identify multiple faults occurred in different components of rolling bearings.During the route of the proposed method,the proper FAWT bases are constructed via genetic optimization algorithm(GA)based on maximizing the spectral correlated kurtosis(SCK)which is firstly presented and proved to be efficient and effective in indicating interested fault mode.Via using the customized FAWT bases for each interested fault mode,the original vibration measurements are decomposed into fine frequency subbands,and the sensitive subband which enhances the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)is selected to exhibit the fault signature on its envelope spectrum.The proposed method is tested via simulated signals,and applied to analyze the experimental vibration measurements from the running roller bearings subjected to outrace,inner-race and roller defects.The analysis results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method in identifying multi-faults occurred in different components of rolling bearings.

The BaO-modified Pd/Al2O3exhibits much better catalytic activity than Pd/Al2O3for C3H8 oxidation both before and after the hydrothermal aging treatment. Further studies ascribe its good activity to the influence of BaO species on the physicochemical characteristics of the catalyst and the reaction routes. Firstly, the BaO species inhibits the phase transformation of alumina, resulting in higher surface area of the catalysts and hereby a better dispersion of Pd. Secondly, the basic nature and electron-withdrawing effect of barium oxide maintain palladium at high oxidation state, which leads to a higher PdO content on surface of the BaO-modified catalyst. Finally, the formation/decomposition of carbonate/bicarbonate species can be promoted by the addition of BaO, which provide extra reaction routes and are important for the deep oxidation of C3H8.

Impact of slope farmland use change on ecosystem services value in China,2000-2020

Slope farmland is an important component of farmland resources in China.The utilization and change of slope farmland have significant effects on ecosystems,and understanding the impact of slope farmland change on ecosystem services(ESs)is critical for effective land utilization and ecosystem protection.This study aims to analyze slope farmland changes in China between 2000 and 2020 and quantify the impact of these changes on ESs by the use of a land use dynamic attitude study,and an ecosystem services value(ESV)equivalent.Results show that the area of slope farmland in China was mainly concentrated on slopes of 2°-6°,and exhibited a downward trend between 2000 and 2020.There were significant differences in the spatial distribution of the farmland,which was mainly located in the Taihang,Qinling,Wushan,and Xuefeng mountains.ESV increased by$179.235 million due to the conversion between slope farmland and forest,grassland,and construction land from 2000-2010.Conversely,from 2010 to 2020,ESV decreased by$2613.919 million due to the conversion of forest and grassland to slope farmland as well as the conversion of slope farmland to construction land.

A Context-Based Analgesia Model in Rats: Involvement of Prefrontal Cortex

Cognition and pain share common neural substrates and interact reciprocally: chronic pain compromises cognitive performance, whereas cognitive processes modulate pain perception. In the present study, we established a non-drug-dependent rat model of context-based analgesia,where two different contexts(dark and bright) were matched with a high(52°C) or low(48°C) temperature in the hot-plate test during training. Before and after training,we set the temperature to the high level in both contexts.Rats showed longer paw licking latencies in trials with the context originally matched to a low temperature than those to a high temperature, indicating successful establishment of a context-based analgesic effect in rats. This effect was blocked by intraperitoneal injection of naloxone(an opioid receptor antagonist) before the probe. The context-based analgesic effect also disappeared after optogenetic activation or inhibition of the bilateral infralimbic or prelimbic sub-region of the prefrontal cortex. In brief, we established a context-based, non-drug dependent, placebo-like analgesia model in the rat. This model provides a new and useful tool for investigating the cognitive modulation of pain.

中国共产党颁布的“四三决定”纠正了妇女工作中的“女性主义”倾向,提出“动员妇女参加生产”这一妇女运动的新方向,并认识到妇女与家庭利益的一致性。妇女纺织运动不仅是大生产运动的重要构成部分,帮助纾解了边区严峻的布匹短缺困局,而且为实践“四三决定”理念提供了现实路径。在边区纺织运动中,以家庭为基础的纺织合作社既为妇女纺织提供了必要的生产资料,又对之进行统筹领导。劳动妇女在合作社从事纺织生产,一方面增加了经济收入,另一方面提升了“社会化”程度。同时,纺织运动中相继出现的家庭会议、农户计划等民主元素,是妇女纺织生产对封建旧式家庭进行民主化改造的具体表征。

This paper has analyzed the asymmetric flow effect of fire-induced thermal flow in a horizontal tunnel under the natural ventilation condition by conducting large eddy simulations (LES). The key objective is to reveal and to have a better understanding of the asymmetric flow effect caused by the upstream and downstream tunnel length difference. The mechanism behind it can be explained based on the conservation of mass and dynamic force analysis on the smoke and fresh air. The strength of the asymmetric flow effect is characterized by the mass flow rate of the induced longitudinal flow (net mass flow rate of a cross-section). An empirical correlation to predict the induced longitudinal mass flow rate is proposed. Furthermore, the law of smoke and air flow distribution within a horizontal tunnel is established. The proportion of smoke (or air) flowing out (or coming in) through the opening increase (or decrease) linearly with the increasing distance between that opening to the fire location. The variation of the air flow with the longitudinal fire location in a tunnel is more sensitive than the smoke flow. Results have shown that as the fire approaches the tunnel exit from the middle of the tunnel, the smoke spilling out through this opening is reduced from 50% to 40%, while the fresh air incoming from this opening is increased from 50% to 100% and vice versa.

The present study aimed to explore the potential of artificial intelligence(AI)methodology based on magnetic resonance(MR)images to aid in the management of prostate cancer(PCa).To this end,we reviewed and summarized the studies comparing the diagnostic and predictive performance for PCa between AI and common clinical assessment methods based on MR images and/or clinical characteristics,thereby investigating whether AI methods are generally superior to common clinical assessment methods for the diagnosis and prediction fields of PCa.First,we found that,in the included studies of the present study,AI methods were generally equal to or better than the clinical assessment methods for the risk assessment of PCa,such as risk stratification of prostate lesions and the prediction of therapeutic outcomes or PCa progression.In particular,for the diagnosis of clinically significant PCa,the AI methods achieved a higher summary receiver operator characteristic curve(SROC-AUC)than that of the clinical assessment methods(0.87 vs.0.82).For the prediction of adverse pathology,the AI methods also achieved a higher SROC-AUC than that of the clinical assessment methods(0.86 vs.0.75).Second,as revealed by the radiomics quality score(RQS),the studies included in the present study presented a relatively high total average RQS of 15.2(11.0–20.0).Further,the scores of the individual RQS elements implied that the AI models in these studies were constructed with relatively perfect and standard radiomics processes,but the exact generalizability and clinical practicality of the AI models should be further validated using higher levels of evidence,such as prospective studies and open-testing datasets.
