The solid-state prefermentation by Aspergillus niger(CICC 2377)and Aspergillus flavus(CICC 40536)was employed to increase the oil extraction yield from *** influence of incubation time on oil yield was *** maximum oil yield extracted from the substrate prefermented by Aspergillus niger for 96 h was 23%,which increased by 47.4%compared with control(15.6%).In the same fermentation conditions,the maximum oil yield extracted from substrate prefermented by Aspergillus flavus was 21.6%,which increased by 38.5%compared with control(15.6%).The quality of soybean oil was not changed obviously by the pretreatment of fermentation with fungi.

Abstract By analyzing the similarity between the viscosity-inertia compromise for single fluid in turbulent pipe flow and the particle-fluid compromise in gas-solid fluidization, it is deduced that the variational criterion for dissipative structures dominated jointly by two sub-mechanisms (for instance, viscous elfect and inertial effect in turbulent flow; particle movement and fluid movement in fluidization) could be physically expressed as mutually constrained extremum between the individual extremum tendencies of the sub-mechanisms, and could thus be mathematically formulated as a two-objective optimization problem.

One new dimeric(1) and two monomeric sesquiterpene lactones(5 and 13), together with 10 known compounds(2-4, 6-12), were isolated from Artemisia heptapotamica collected in Almaty region of Kazakhstan. All compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time. The structures of the new compounds were mainly achieved by extensive analysis of MS, 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic data, and ECD spectrum as well. The inhibitory activities of all isolates against activation of NF-κB induced by LPS were assessed on a THP1-Dual cell model. Some of them showed strong inhibitory activity with IC50 values ranging from 2 to 25μmol·L^-1.

Midline2 （MID2） is an ubiquitin-conjugating E2 enzyme linked to tumor progression and a novel interacting partner of breast cancer 1, early-onset 0BRCA1）. However, the role of MID2 in breast cancer remains unknown. This study investigated the expression, prognostic value, and role of MID2 in breast cancer. The expression of MID2 mRNA and protein was significantly upregulated in breast cancer tissue and established cell lines compared with that in normal breast epithelial cells and paired adjacent non-tumor tissue （P 〈 0.001）. Immunohistochemical analysis demonstrated that MID2 was overexpressed in 272 of 284 （95.8%） paraffin- embedded, archived breast cancer tissue. Moreover, MID2 expression increased with advanced clinical stage （P 〈 0.001）. High MID2 expression was significantly associated with advanced clinical stages and T, N, and M staging （all P 〈 0.05）. Univariate and multivariate analyses indicated that high MID2 expression was an independent prognostic factor for poor overall survival in the entire cohort （93.73 vs. 172.1 months; P 〈 0.001, log- rank test） and in subgroups with stages Tis ＋ Ⅰ ＋ Ⅱ and Ⅲ ＋ Ⅳ. Furthermore, 3-（4,5-dimethyl-2-thiazolyl）-2,5- diphenyl-2H-tetrazolium bromide colony formation, and anchorage-independent growth ability assays were conducted. Results showed that siRNA silencing of MID2 expression significantly reduced MCF-7 and MDA-MB- 231 cell proliferation in vitro and blocked the growth of MDA-MB-231 cell xenograft tumors in vivo （P 〈 0.05）. This study indicated that MID2 may be a novel prognostic marker and interventional target in breast cancer.

Immobilization and characterization of the Lactarius deliciosus mycelia-embedded polylysine-alginate beads and their decolorization performance

Liquid fermented fungal mycelia with decolorization capability have potential applications in scale-up. In this work, the Lactarius deliciosus mycelia were immobilized on ε-polylysine-alginate beads, and the decolorization effects of ε-polylysine-alginate beads were demonstrated along with Coomassie brilliant blue G-250 as a model dye. Morphology observation confirmed the beads had an exterior film and interior capsule with honeycomb microstructures suitable for mycelia growth. It was manifested that the maximum decolorization efficiency for mycelia was 98.5% at a removal rate of 0.68 mg·L^(-1)·h after 3 days. In comparison, the decolorization efficiency of the immobilized mycelia reached the maximum value of 97.3% at a removal rate of 6.1 mg·L^(-1)·h after 8 h. The enzyme activities of lignin peroxidase and laccase tested in the immobilized mycelia were significantly higher than in that of the free ones, such as the lignin peroxidase had the highest enzyme activity of 77.6 ± 7.4 U·L^(-1) in the former, while of 27.4 ± 8.7 U·L^(-1) in the latter. The immobilization of L. deliciosus mycelia could improve the decolorization of Coomassie brilliant blue G-250 efficiently. The prepared ε-polylysine-alginate beads embedded with L. deliciosus mycelia have very good reusability and a great potential in decolorizing analog dyes.
