Data-driven Optimal Dynamic Dispatch for Hydro-PV-PHS Integrated Power Systems Using Deep Reinforcement Learning Approach

To utilize electricity in a clean and integrated manner,a zero-carbon hydro-photovoltaic(PV)-pumped hydro storage(PHS)integrated power system is studied,considering the uncertainties of PV and load demand.It is a challenge for operators to develop a dynamic dispatch mechanism for such a system,and traditional dispatch methods are difficult to adapt to random changes in the actual environment.Therefore,this study proposes a real-time dynamic dispatch strategy considering economic operation and complementary regulatory ability.First,the dynamic dispatch of a hydro-PV-PHS integrated power system is presented as a multi-objective optimization problem and the weight factor between different goals is effectively calculated using information entropy.Afterwards,the dispatch model is converted into the Markov decision process,where the dynamic dispatch decision is formulated as a reinforcement learning framework.Then,a deep deterministic policy gradient(DDPG)is deployed towards the online decision for dispatch in continuous action spaces.Finally,a case study is applied to evaluate the performance of the proposed method based on a real hydroPV-PHS integrated power system in China.Simulations show that the system agent reduces the power volatility of supply by 26.7%after hydropower regulating and further relieves power fluctuation at the point of common coupling(PCC)to the upperlevel grid by 3.28%after PHS participation.The comparison results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

A Regulating Capacity Determination Method for Pumped Storage Hydropower to Restrain PV Generation Fluctuations

The variable speed and constant frequency pumped storage hydropower(PSH)unit can strongly support the complementation and joint power supply of cascaded hydropower and photovoltaic(PV)plants.Its fast response capability has provided a feasible solution for the rapid power and voltage regulation caused by real-time fluctuations of PV systems.However,currently there is a lack of research on precise evaluation on regulation capability and regulating capacity configuration for PSH to restrain the real-time fluctuations.In this paper,a cascaded hydro-PV-PSH complementary joint power system(CHPP)is studied,and a“rule-based”method for regulating capacity determination is proposed.A combined statistical technique is introduced to analyze the initial estimated regulating capacity of PSH.A continuous cyclic revision method is adopted to renew the ideal PV curve by repeatedly using the main operating constraints until an optimal regulating capacity of PSH matching the PV generation scale is achieved.The results of the case study verified the feasibility and effectiveness of PSH for restraining the fast fluctuations of PV systems in real-time,and the configuration between PV and PSH regulating capacity is obtained with real-time application requirements.Finally,analyses including weather conditions,curtailed energy and electricity shortage,the sensitivity analysis,and state transition frequency are presented to demonstrate the robustness of this study.

In order to maintain the optimal operating temperature of the battery surface and meet the demand for thermal storage technology,battery thermal management system based on phase change materials has attracted increasing interest.In this work,a kind of core-shell structured microcapsule was synthesized by an in-situ polymerization,where paraffin was used as the core,while methanol was applied to mod-ify the melamine-formaldehyde shell to reduce toxicity and improve thermal stability.Moreover,three different types of heat conductive fillers with the same content of 10 wt.%,i.e.,nano-Al_(2)O_(3),nano-ZnO and carbon nanotubes were added,generating composites.The microcapsules were uniform,and were not affected by the thermal fillers,which were evenly dispersed around.The composite sample with carbon nanotubes(10 wt.%)showed the highest thermal conductivity of 0.50 W/(m K)and latent heat of 139.64 J/g.Furthermore,according to the leakage testing and battery charge/discharge experiments,compared with Al_(2)O_(3)and ZnO,the addition of carbon nanotubes remarkably enhances the heat storage ability as latent heat from 126.98 J/g for the prepared sample with Al_(2)O_(3)and 125.86 J/g for the one with ZnO,then to 139.64 J/g,as well as dissipation performance as a cooling effect by decreasing the sur-face temperature of battery from 2%to 12%of microcapsule,composite sample with carbon nanotubes presents a broad application prospect in battery thermal management system and energy storage field.

Molecular rotor-based fluorophores(RBFs)activate fluorescence upon increase of micro-viscosity,thus bearing a broad application promise in many fields.However,it remains a challenge to control how fluorescence of RBFs responds to viscosity changes.Herein,we demonstrate that the formation and regulation of intramolecular hydrogen bonds in the excited state of RBFs could modulate their rotational barrier,leading to a rational control of how their fluorescence can be activated by micro-viscosity.Based on this strategy,a series of RBFs were developed based on 4-hydroxybenzylidene-imidazolinone(HBI)that span a wide range of viscosity sensitivity.Combined with the AggTag method that we previously reported,the varying viscosity sensitivity and emission spectra of these probes enabled a dualcolor imaging strategy that detects both protein oligomers and aggregates during the multistep aggregation process of proteins in live cells.In summary,our work indicates that installing intracellular excited state hydrogen bonds to RBFs allows for a rational control of rotational barrier,thus allow for a fine tune of their viscosity sensitivity.Beyond RBFs,we envision similar strategies can be applied to control the fluorogenic behavior of a large group of fluorophores whose emission is dependent on excited state rotational motion,including aggregation-induced emission fluorophores.

Metabolomics signature of blood pressure salt sensitivity and its link to cardiovascular disease:A dietary salt-intervention trial

Individuals with a high degree of salt sensitivity(SS) have a greater risk of cardiovascular disease(CVD),but whether SS fosters CVD by influencing metabolomics homeostasis remains unclear.This study aimed to reveal the role of the SS-related metabolomics signature in the development of CVDs,based on the Meta Salt study,which was a dietary salt-intervention trial conducted at four centers in China in 2019.A total of 528 participants were recruited and underwent 3 days of baseline observations,a 10-day low-salt intervention,and a 10-day highsalt intervention.Plasma untargeted metabolomics,lipidomics,and BP measurements were scheduled at each stage.Participants were grouped into extreme SS,moderate SS,and salt-resistant(SR) individuals according to their BP responses to salt.Linear mixed models were used to identify SS-related metabolites and determine the relationship between the SS-related metabolomics signature and arterial stiffness.Mendelian randomization(MR) analyses were applied to establish the causal pathways among the SS-related metabolites,BP,and CVDs.Among the 713 metabolites,467 were significantly changed after the high-salt intervention.Among them,the changes in 30 metabolites from the low-salt to the high-salt intervention differed among the SS groups.Of the remaining nonsalt-related metabolites,the baseline levels of 11 metabolites were related to SS.These 41 metabolites explained 23% of the variance in SS.Moreover,SS and its metabolomics signature were positively correlated with arterial stiffness.MR analyses demonstrated that the SS-related metabolites may affect CVD risk by altering BP,indicating that the increase in BP was the consequence of the changes in SS-related metabolites rather than the cause.Our study revealed that the metabolomics signature of SS individuals differs from that of SR individuals and that the changes in SS-related metabolites may increase arterial stiffness and foster CVDs.This study provides insight into understanding the biology and targets of SS and its role in CVDs.

目前与风光新能源密切相关的城市源储容量配置研究较多,但在偏远地区进行源储容量配置具有显著不同的两个特点:一是普遍缺失气象历史数据,难以评估风、光时序运行特性;二是与主网联系薄弱,离网运行可能性较高。上述特点给偏远地区源储容量配置带来了挑战,需要构建以自给自足为特征的能源自洽系统。为此提出一种基于风光自然资源评估且兼顾并/离网两个运行状态、以能量自给自足为主要目标的源-储双层优化配置策略。首先建立由太阳辐射强度和风速等资源禀赋确定的风光出力特性模型,并在此基础上构建风光出力典型时序场景集;然后建立包含风光、储能、电动汽车等在内的系统源-储-荷规划-运行双层容量优化配置模型,并提出相应模型转化和求解策略。其中,规划层以系统综合成本最小为优化目标,确定风电、光伏和储能配置容量;运行层基于并网和离网综合指标,实现兼顾并/离网两个状态的年运行成本最小以及并/离网指标最优的多目标优化。最后算例仿真结果证明了所提模型适用于偏远地区能源自洽系统,所得源储配置可减少系统对电网依赖,促进新能源就地消纳,减少负荷缺电损失。

Integrated traffic-power simulation framework for electric vehicle charging stations based on cellular automaton

This paper presents a novel integrated framework for simulating the charging load of an electric vehicle charging station. The framework is built based on the cellular automaton model, including five modules: vehicle generation, charging station, lane change, speed update and boundary clear. The proposed framework can effectively stimulate the system dynamics of the traffic system and charging power process in a charging station. Case studies have verified its feasibility and effectiveness.

通过构建投资便利化指标体系,运用熵值法测度103个国家的投资便利化水平,并对其空间竞争性和β收敛情况进行分析,运用空间杜宾模型实证检验投资便利化对中国对外直接投资的空间效应。结果表明,全球国家的投资便利化水平稳步提升,但不同类型国家投资便利化指数的动态演进差异性较大,非“一带一路”国家和OECD国家的投资便利化水平更高,但其特征分化也更明显;投资便利化指数存在空间竞争性和β收敛,而空间因素能够加快收敛速度。东道国投资便利化提升不仅显著促进中国对东道国的直接投资增长,而且存在显著的空间溢出效应,其中,营商环境的空间溢出效应最明显,金融服务环境的空间溢出效应次之。本文揭示的东道国投资便利化的时空特征为中国对外直接投资高质量发展提供了实证依据。

针对“一带一路”倡议显著增加了我国对沿线国家的直接投资,而问题投资并没有同步增加这一现象,从投资风险的视角揭示风险因素在我国对“一带一路”沿线国家直接投资中的影响。通过构建179个国家和地区的投资风险指数,使用双重差分模型实证研究“一带一路”倡议前后风险因素对我国对外直接投资,特别是问题投资的影响。研究发现,我国企业对“一带一路”沿线国家的投资没有明显的事前风险规避行为,甚至对经济风险和信用风险还表现出一定的风险偏好;“一带一路”倡议显著降低了沿线国家的投资风险,且对东道国的投资风险具有一定化解作用,特别是政治风险。研究结论为深化我国与“一带一路”沿线国家的投资合作、控制投资风险提供了实证依据。

目前国内孤岛微电网运行调度中分布式发电(distributed generation,DG)电源被统一处理为传统发电机的PQ模型,与微电网实际情况不一致,同时较少有文献考虑电压潮流约束,为此,考虑下垂控制DG静态模型,计及潮流非线性约束,提出含可再生能源出力、储能充放电的孤岛微电网分级调度策略;同时,考虑DG下垂特性与潮流非线性约束,上级孤岛微电网经济、安全运行调度依靠集中优化控制器进行,控制下级DG各类静态参数及各储能装置充放电功率;下级依靠传统下垂控制在上级控制参数下实时调整有功、无功出力,维持系统频率、电压稳定。上述模型采用YALMIP+IPOPT程序进行求解,以14节点系统为例开展模拟仿真。仿真结果证明:所提模型及其求解方法可以有效求解孤岛微电网经济及安全运行调度模型,在稳定并提高系统电压水平、降低孤岛微电网运行费用方面具备显著优势。
