All-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs)are recognized as high energy density batteries system without safety issues within the next generation of *** development of solid electrolytes is the crucial step of *** composite electrolyte has stable physical and electrochemical characteristics,and its comprehensive performance surpasses the individual solid electrolyte,bringing unique vitality to the solid ***,their intrinsic weakness limits the development of composite *** this review,we provide a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities of composite electrolytes,with special focus on mechanisms of ion transport,nanostructure design towards high ionic conductivity,interfacial issues within electrolytes and ***,future development is prospected,which can shed light on researchers in this field and accelerate the industrial production of composite electrolytes.

Rice is a staple food for more than half of the worldwide population and is also a model species for biological studies on monocotyledons. hrough a team efort, Chinese scientists have made rapid and important progresses in rice biology in recent years. Here, we briely review these advances, emphasizing on the regulatory mechanisms of the complex agronomic traits that afect rice yield and grain quality. Progresses in rice genome biology and genome evolution have also been summarized.

Strigolactones （SLs） are a very special class of plant hormones, which act as endogenous signals to regulate shoot branching in plants, and also serve as rhizosphere signals to regulate interactions of host plants with heterologous organisms such as symbiotic arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and parasitic weeds. In this short review, we give a brief description of novel discoveries in SL biosynthesis pathway, and mainly summarize the recent advances in SL perceotion and signal transduction.

Resistant starch(RS),a healthy dietary fiber,is a particular type of starch that has attracted much research attention in recent *** has important roles in reducing glycemic index,postprandial blood glucose levels,and serum cholesterol levels,thereby improving and preventing many diseases,such as diabetes,obesity,and cardiovascular *** formation of RS is influenced by intrinsic properties of starch(e.g.,starch granule structure,starch crystal structure,and amylose-to-amylopectin ratio)and non-starch components(e.g.,proteins,lipids,and sugars),aswell as storage and processing *** studies have revealed that several starch-synthesis-related genes(SSRGs)are crucial for the formation of RS during seed *** transcription factors and mRNA splicing factors have been shown to affect the expression or splicing of SSRGs that regulate RS content,suggesting their potential roles in RS *** review focuses mainly on recent research progress on the genetic regulation of RS content and discusses the emerging genetic and molecular mechanisms of RS formation in rice.

We analyzed and improved a collision avoidance strategy, which was supported by Long Term EvolutionVehicle(LTE-V)-based Vehicle-to-Vehicle(V2 V) communication, for automated vehicles. This work was completed in two steps. In the first step, we analyzed the probability distribution of message transmission time, which was conditional on transmission distance and vehicle density. Our analysis revealed that transmission time exhibited a near-linear increase with distance and density. We also quantified the trade-off between high/low resource reselection probabilities to improve the setting of media access parameters. In the second step, we studied the required safety distance in accordance with the response time, i.e., the transmission time, derived on the basis of a novel concept of Responsibility-Sensitive Safety(RSS). We improved the strategy by considering the uncertainty of response time and its dependence on vehicle distance and density. We performed theoretical analysis and numerical testing to illustrate the effectiveness of the improved robust RSS strategy. Our results enhance the practicability of building driverless highways with special lanes reserved for the exclusive use of LTE-V vehicles.

Various mutants defective in phytohormone biosynthesis and signaling pathways have been identified and characterized recently. Functional analysis of corresponding genes has greatly enriched our knowledge of phytohormone biosynthesis, transport, and signal transduction. Moreover, identification of phytohormone receptors and dissection of cross-talks among phytohormones allow us to elucidate the molecular basis of actions of phytohormones. The recent comprehensive work on the regulation of the biosynthesis, transport and signaling of phytohormones will help us to understand phytohormone actions in plant growth and development and their potential application in crop improvement. In this review, we summarize the latest work about phytohormones actions and highlight some common issues in this field.

The plant hormone auxin influences a variety of developmental and physiological processes. But the mechanism of its action is quite unclear. In order to identify and analyze the expression of auxin responsive genes, a cDNA array approach was used to screen for genes with altered expression from Arabidopsis suspension culture after IAA treatment and was identified 50 differentially expressed genes from 13824 cDNA clones. These genes were related to signal transduction, stress responses, senescence, photosynthesis, protein biosynthesis and transportation. The results provide the molecular evidence that auxin influences a variety of physiological processes and pave a way for further investigation of the mechanism of auxin action. Furthermore, we found that the expression of a ClpC (regulation subunit of Clp protease) was repressed by exogenous auxin, but increased in dark-induced senescing leaves. This suggests that ClpC may be a senescence-associated gene and can be regulated by auxin.
