A novel Mg^(-1)0Li-3Al(wt.%,LA103)matrix composite reinforced by ex situ micron TiB_(2) particles was developed in the present *** ball milling and cold pressing pretreatment of the reinforcements made it feasible to prepare this material under stir casting conditions with good *** microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites prepared by different pretreatment methods were analyzed in *** TiB_(2) particles in the Al-TiB_(2)/LA103 composite using the pretreatment process were uniformly distributed in the microstructure due to the formation of highly wettable core-shell units in the *** with the matrix alloys,the Al-TiB_(2)/LA103 composite exhibited effective strength and elastic modulus improvements while maintaining acceptable *** strengthening effect in the composites was mainly attributed to the strong grain refining effect of *** work shows a balance of high specific modulus(36.1 GPa·cm^(3)·g^(-1))and elongation(8.4%)with the conventional stir casting path,which is of considerable application value.

Background:Alpha/beta hydrolase domain-containing protein 17C(ABHD17C)is a depalmitoylation enzyme that removes the S-palmitoylation of targeted *** hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)cells SNU449 and Hep3B use ABHD17C as an oncogene;however,the exact mechanism of this action is yet ***:The expression of ABHD17C in liver cancer tissues was analyzed by bioinformatics,and the expression of ABHD17C in clinical liver cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues was ***,the proliferative viability of HCC cells after overexpression or knockdown of ABHD17C was examined,and pyroptosis and apoptosis proteins were ***:ABHD17C was overexpressed in human HCC tissues as well as numerous HCC cell *** of ABHD17C caused reduced viability,cell cycle arrest,and defective invasion and migration in HCC cells,while overexpression of ABHD17C exhibited the opposite ***,we discovered that the knockdown of ABHD17C resulted in enhanced apoptotic and pyroptotic phenotypes of HCC cells,whereas overexpression of ABHD17C attenuated such ***:It suggests that ABHD17C contributes to HCC carcinogenesis,making it a promising target for medication treatment.

Synonymous codon usage in Methanosarcina mazei ***1 and other Euryarchaeota microorganisms

A comparative analysis of the codon usage bias was conducted in Methanosarcina mazei str. Goel and two related Euryarchaeota microorganisms （Picrophilus torridus str. DSM 9790 and Natronomonas pharaonis str. DSM 2160）. Results revealed that synonymous codon usage in Methanosarcina mazei str. Goel was less biased, which was highly correlated with the GC3S value. And the codon usage patterns were phylogenetically conserved among those Euryarchaeota microorganisms. By employing a hierarchical clustering analysis, it can be seen that it is more the species than the gene function that determines their gene codon usage pattems. Considering that those microorganisms live in different environments where the pH conditions vary quite a lot, it can be presumed that their living environments, especially the pH conditions, play an important role in determining those microorganisms＇ codon usage pattems.

In the work,supported catalysts of FeO_(x) and MnO_(x) co-supported on aluminum-modified CeO_(2)was synthesized for low-temperature NH_(3)-selective catalytic reduction(NH_(3)-SCR)of ***,the SCR activity of the obtained catalyst is markedly influenced by the adding amount of Al and the appropriate Ce/Al molar ratio is 1/*** activity tests demonstrate that Fe-Mn/Ce1 Al2 catalyst shows over 90%NO conversion at 75-250℃and exhibits better SO_(2)resistance compared to Fe-Mn/CeO_(2).Fe-Mn/Ce1 Al2 shows the expected physicochemical characters of the ideal catalyst including the larger surface and increased active reaction active sites by controlling the amount of Al ***,the better catalytic activity is well correlated with the present advantaged surface adsorption oxygen species,Mn^(4+)species,Ce^(3+)species and the enhanced reducibility of Fe-Mn/Ce1 Al2,which is superior to the Fe-Mn/CeO_(2)*** importantly,we further demonstrate that the amount and strength of surface acid sites are improved by Al-doping and more active intermediates(monodentate nitrate)is generated during NH_(3)-SCR *** work provides certain insight into the rational creation of simple and practical denitration catalyst environmental purification.

The SAPO-34 catalyst was fine-tuned with zinc cations through a straightforward template-assisted ion incorporation (TH) process, without the necessary template pre-removal and the preparation of NH4- SAPO-34 intermediate, which is more facile, efficient and cost-effective than the conventional ion exchange process. The template-assisted zinc cations incorporated SAPO-34 catalysts were characterized by XRD, XRF, N2 adsorption-desorption, XPS, SEM, EDX,NMR, respectively. Enhanced selectivity to ethylene and ratio of ethylene to propylene in MTO reaction are observed over the zinc cations modified SAPO-34 catalysts, due to the facilitated formation of lower methylbenzenes that favour the ethylene gen eration, as well as the increased diffusion hindrance originated from the zinc cations incorporation and the facil让ated generation of aromatics compound.

Understanding flow characteristics of fluid near rough contact is important for the design of fluid-based lubrication and basic of tribology *** this study,the spreading and seepage processes of anhydrous ethanol in the interface between glass and rough PDMS are observed by a homemade optical in-situ *** image processing technology and numerical simulation software are adapted to identify and extract the topological properties of interface and thin fluid flow *** attention is paid to the dynamic evolution of the contact interface morphology under different stresses,the distribution of microchannels in the interface,the spreading characteristics of the fluid in contact interface,as well as the mechanical driving *** surface morphology and the contact stress have a significant impact on the interface topography and the distribution of interfacial microchannels,which shows that the feature lengths of the microchannels,the spreading area and the spreading rate of the fluid are inversely proportional to the *** the flow path of the fluid in the interface is mainly divided into three stages:along the wall of the island,generating liquid bridges,and moving from the tip side to the root side in the wedge-shaped *** main mechanical mechanism of liquid flow in the interface is the equilibrium between the capillary force that drives the liquid spreading and viscous resistance of solid wall to *** addition,the phenomenon of“trapped air”occurs during the flow process due to the irregular characteristics of the *** study lays a certain theoretical foundation for the research of microscopic flow behavior of the liquid in the rough contact interface,the friction and lubrication of the mechanical system,and the sealing mechanism.

Improving dryland maize productivity and water efficiency with heterotrophic ammonia-oxidizing bacteria via nitrification and cytokinin activity

A two-year field experiment conducted under dryland conditions in semi-humid and drought-prone regions of China aimed to assess the effect of ammonia-oxidizing bacterial on maize water use efficiency and yield.A heterotrophic ammonia-oxidizing bacteria(HAOB)strain S2_8_1 was *** treatments were applied:(1)no irrigation+HAOB strain(DI),(2)no irrigation+blank culture medium(DM),(3)no irrigation control(DCK),(4)irrigation+HAOB(WI),(5)irrigation+blank culture medium(WM),and(6)irrigation control(WCK).Results revealed that HAOB treatment increased maize growth,yield,and water use efficiency over controls,regardless of whether the year was wet or *** improvement was attributed to the accelerated nitrification in the rhizosphere soil due to HAOB inoculation,which subsequently led to increased levels of leaf ***,these findings suggest that HAOB inoculation holds promise as a strategy to boost water use efficiency and maize productivity in dryland agriculture.
