As coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)public health restrictions are relaxed,the circulation of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)alongside other respiratory viruses may lead to an increased likelihood of coinfection(1).Older patients face a higher risk of severe outcomes,when infected with multiple respiratory viruses(2).This study highlights the successful recovery of the oldest older adult(≥80 years)from pneumonia caused by the dual infection of human respiratory syncytial virus(HRSV)and SARS-CoV-2.

The advent of cancer immunotherapy has imparted a transformative impact on cancer treatment paradigms by harnessing the power of the immune ***,the challenge of practical and precise targeting of malignant cells *** address this,engineered nanoparticles(NPs)have emerged as a promising solution for enhancing targeted drug delivery in immunotherapeutic interventions,owing to their small size,low immunogenicity,and ease of surface *** comprehensive review delves into contemporary research at the nexus of NP engineering and immunotherapy,encompassing an extensive spectrum of NP morphologies and strategies tailored toward optimizing tumor targeting and augmenting therapeutic ***,it underscores the mechanisms that NPs leverage to bypass the numerous obstacles encountered in immunotherapeutic regimens and probes into the combined potential of NPs when co-administered with both established and novel immunotherapeutic ***,the review evaluates the existing limitations of NPs as drug delivery platforms in immunotherapy,which could shape the path for future advancements in this promising field.

BACKGROUND Numerous observational studies have documented a correlation between inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)and an increased risk of ***,the causality of their associations remains *** To assess the causal relationship between IBD and the occurrence of all-cause dementia using the two-sample Mendelian randomization(MR)*** Genetic variants extracted from the large genome-wide association study(GWAS)for IBD(the International IBD Genetics Consortium,n=34652)were used to identify the causal link between IBD and dementia(FinnGen,n=306102).The results of the study were validated via another IBD GWAS(United Kingdom Biobank,n=463372).Moreover,MR egger intercept,MR pleiotropy residual sum and outlier,and Cochran's Q test were employed to evaluate pleiotropy and ***,multiple MR methods were performed to estimate the effects of genetically predicted IBD on dementia,with the inverse variance weighted approach adopted as the primary *** The results of the pleiotropy and heterogeneity tests revealed an absence of significant pleiotropic effects or heterogeneity across all genetic variants in outcome *** evidence of a causal effect between IBD and the risk of dementia was identified in the inverse variance weighted[odds ratio(OR)=0.980,95%CI:0.942-1.020,P value=0.325],weighted median(OR=0.964,95%CI:0.914-1.017,P value=0.180),and MR-Egger(OR=0.963,95%CI:0.867-1.070,P value=0.492)*** results were observed in validation *** MR analysis also showed no effect of dementia on the development of ***,MR analysis suggested that IBD and its subtypes did not causally affect allcause dementia and its four subtypes,including dementia in Alzheimer's disease,vascular dementia,dementia in other diseases classified elsewhere,and unspecified *** Taken together,our MR study signaled that IBD and its subentities were not genetically associated with all-cause dementia or its

Recently,the chemiluminescence(CL)induced by carbon nanodots(CDs)has intrigued researchers’extensive interests in various applications due to its special light emission ***,the difficulty of synthesizing chemiluminescent CDs with full-spectrum emission severely hinders the further regulation of the CL emission ***,the multi-color-emissive chemiluminescent CDs are rational designed and further synthesized by regulating the sp2-hybrid core and sp3-hybrid surface from the citrate-ammonia molecular in a single solvothermal *** experimental characterizations and density functional theory calculations reveal that the higher temperature can promote the crosslinking polymerization/carbonization of carbon core and the higher protonation of solvent can determine the core size of final CDs,resulting in the variant CL emission from molecular-,crosslinking-and ***,the CL emission of the CDs can be further synthesized by tuning the luminescence chromophores in the formation process via regulating the temperature and solvent,enabling the applications of the CL CDs in illumination and information *** study paves a new technology to understand the luminescence of CDs and affords an industry translational potential over traditional chemiluminescent molecular.

目的探讨白细胞介素-8(IL-8)和微小RNA-182(miR-182)在非小细胞肺癌(NSCLC)中的相互作用,及促进NSCLC细胞增殖和侵袭的机制。方法选取NSCLC患者40例(NSCLC组),收集其术前血清样本和术中切除的癌组织及癌旁组织样本。以40名体检健康者作为正常对照组。检测血清IL-8水平和癌组织、癌旁组织miR-182表达量。采用细胞学相关实验分析miR-182和IL-8对人NSCLC细胞株A549增殖和侵袭的影响、IL-8对miR-182的调节作用,以及miR-182影响IL-8表达的信号通路。结果NSCLC组血清IL-8水平显著高于正常对照组(P<0.01)。NSCLC患者癌组织miR-182相对表达量显著高于癌旁组织(P<0.01)。IL-8通过miR-182促进A549细胞的增殖和侵袭。IL-8通过信号转导及转录激活因子3(STAT3)上调miR-182的表达。miR-182通过调节NF-κB信号通路上调IL-8的表达。结论NSCLC患者IL-8和miR-182均呈高表达,且通过IL-8/STAT3/miR-182/NF-κB/IL-8正反馈调控轴促进NSCLC的发生、发展。

Active organic optical waveguide materials(OOWMs) incorporating room temperature phosphorescence(RTP) hold significant promise for diverse applications in photonic and optoelectronic devices. Despite this potential, realizing active RTP optical waveguides with large-sized ordered structures and minimal light loss remains a formidable challenge. To address this issue, we present a groundbreaking thermoplastic active OOWM with low light loss, leveraging room temperature phosphorescent liquid crystalline polymer(LCP). This innovative material can be easily synthesized through the copolymerization of phosphorescent and liquid crystalline monomers. The resulting RTP copolymer exhibits a nematic liquid crystal phase with a phosphorescence lifetime of approximately 0.15 ms and an afterglow duration of around 1 second. Leveraging the excellent processability of LCP,we successfully produce meter-scale fibers via melt spinning. These RTP LCP fibers, characterized by a high orientation of mesogens along the fiber axis, demonstrate superior light confinement and efficient light conduction compared to unoriented samples, resulting in a low optical loss coefficient of 0.13 dB/mm. Furthermore, the thermal responsiveness of the RTP LCP optical waveguide enables its use as a photo switch. This pioneering work paves the way for the design of new OOWMs tailored for advanced photonics and optoelectronics devices.

*** Cities are responsible for approximately 70%of all anthropogenic greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions and about 60%of all anthropogenic methane(CH4)emissions[1,2].Solid waste disposal sites(including landfills and dumpsites),which are prevalent in global cities,emit CH4 generated from the anaerobic biodegradation of municipal solid waste(MSW).Notably,the proportions of CH4 emissions from disposal sites surpass 50%of the total CH4 emissions in some megalopolises[3].CH4 has a high global warming potential(GWP),being 28 times stronger than carbon dioxide(CO_(2))over a 100-year period and 80 times stronger over a 20-year period[4].Understanding and mitigating CH4 emissions from solid waste disposal sites is particularly pertinent and pressing,considering that the latest Synthesis Report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC)emphasizes that the current pace of mitigation and adaptation policies and measures falls short of restraining global temperature rise to under 1.5℃ within the 21st century[4].More than 150 countries signed the Global Methane Pledge at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow(COP26),which aims to reduce global annual CH4 emissions by 30%by 2030,compared with emissions in 2020[5].

采用耦合电场模型的相变格子Boltzmann模型,数值研究了电场作用下锥翅结构表面的饱和池沸腾换热.为了定量分析电场对锥翅结构表面沸腾换热影响的机理,首先在无电场作用下对比调查了平滑表面和锥翅表面的沸腾换热现象.发现锥翅结构在核态沸腾阶段有更多的成核点,沸腾换热性能增强,临界热流密度(critical heat flux,CHF)提高.而在过渡沸腾阶段以及膜态沸腾阶段,由于锥翅结构增加了锥翅表面流体的流动阻力,阻碍了气液交换,换热性能低于平滑表面.基于以上发现,通过对锥翅表面池沸腾过程施加电场,进一步强化了锥翅表面沸腾换热.结果表明,在起始核态沸腾阶段,电场的存在稍微延后了气泡开始成核时间,气泡尺寸减小,沸腾轻微被抑制;充分核态沸腾阶段,由于电场力的作用以及电场与锥翅结构协同表现出的尖端效应,阻止了加热表面干斑的扩散和蔓延,促进沸腾换热;过渡沸腾以及膜态沸腾阶段,尖端效应更加明显,逐渐增大的电场强度使沸腾在更高过热度下处于核态沸腾状态,沸腾换热性能大幅度提高,且CHF逐渐提高.

Coal is a solid combustible mineral,and coal-bearing strata have important hydrocarbon generation potential and contribute to more than 12%of the global hydrocarbon ***,the deposition and hydrocarbon evolution process of ancient coal-bearing strata is characterized by multiple geological times,leading to obvious distinctions in their hydrocarbon generation potential,geological processes,and production,which affect the evaluation and exploration of hydrocarbon resources derived from coaly source rocks *** study aimed to identify the differences on oil-generated parent macerals and the production of oil generated from different coaly source rocks and through different oil generation *** with the analysis of previous tectonic burial history and hydrocarbon generation history,high-temperature and high-pressure thermal simulation experiments,organic geochemistry,and organic petrology were performed on the Carboniferous-Permian(C-P)coaly source rocks in the Huanghua Depression,Bohai Bay *** oil-generated parent macerals of coal's secondary oil generation process(SOGP)were mainly hydrogen-rich collotelinite,collodetrinite,sporinite,and cutinite,while the oil-generated parent macerals of tertiary oil generation process(TOGP)were the remaining small amount of hydrogen-rich collotelinite,sporinite,and cutinite,as well as dispersed soluble organic matter and unexhausted residual *** with coal,the oil-generated parent macerals of coaly shale SOGP were mostly sporinite and *** part of hydrogen-poor vitrinite,lacking hydrocarbon-rich macerals,and macerals of the TOGP,in addition to some remaining cutinite and a small amount of crude oil and bitumen from SOGP contributed to the oil *** results indicated that the changes in oil yield had a good junction between SOGP and TOGP,both coal and coaly shale had higher SOGP aborted oil yield than TOGP starting yield,and coaly shale TOGP peak oil yield was low
