Here we first report the fully abundant rare earth(RE)-based nanocrystalline multi-component(Ce,La,Y)-Fe-B alloys containing no critical RE elements of Nd,Pr,Dy,and Tb by melt-spinning *** roles of La and Y substitutions for Ce have been fully *** plays a positive role on both thermal stability and room-temperature(RT)magnetic *** enhanced coercivity H_(cj)by partial substitution of La is attributed to the increases of anisotropy field H_A and the formation of continuously distributed grain boundaries resulting from the suppre s sion of CeFe_(2)*** Y substitution is not benefit for H_(cj),both remanent polarization J_r and thermal stability have been effectively improved since Y_(2)Fe_(14)B shows relatively high saturation magnetization M_s and a positive temperature coefficient of HA over a certain temperature *** addition,RE element segregation has been confirmed,La prefers to enter into the grain boundaries than Ce and Y prefers to remain in the 2:14:1 *** on these understanding,a series of melt-spun(Ce,La,Y)-Fe-B alloys have been designed.A relatively good combination of magnetic properties with maximum energy product(BH)_(max)=7.4 MGOe,H_(Cj)=400 kA/m,and J_r=0.63 T has been obtained in[(Ce_(0.8)La_(0.2))_(0.7)Y_(0.3)]_(17)Fe_(78)B_6 alloy,together with high Curie temperature(T_c=488 K)and low temperature coefficients of remanence(α=-0.255%/K)and coercivity(β=-0.246%/K).

Two-photon photodynamic therapy(TP-PDT)has garnered significant attention because of its excellent depth of tissue penetration and high spatiotemporal ***,the limited targeting ability and oxygen dependency of photosensitizers(PSs)significantly hinder the effectiveness of photodynamic therapy in hypoxic tumor ***,we designed and synthesized two lipid droplet(LD)-targeted two-photon PSs(TBPCP and TBCP)by reducing benzene rings to achieve“acceptor planarization”.Notably,acceptor planarization not only enhanced the intramolecular charge transfer but also transferred the photochemical reaction from typeⅡ(TBPCP)to typeⅠ(TBCP).Under the irradiation of 940 nm femtosecond pulsed laser,TBPCP and TBCP showed bright two-photon-excited fluorescence and excellent LD targeting in living *** TBPCP(typeⅡPS),the outstanding TP-PDT efficacy of TBCP(typeⅠPS)under hypoxic conditions could be obtained in both cellular experiments and multicellular tumor spheroids(MCTS)***,both TBPCP and TBCP could induce the lipid peroxidation in the typeⅠor typeⅡPDT due to the location of LD,depleting GSH and inactivating GPX4 to induce nonprogrammed ferroptosis in cells.

The 3-D geometry of the seismicity in Hindu Kush-Pamir--western China region has been defined by seismic records for 1975-1999 from the National Earthquake Information Center, the U.S. Geological Survey, and over 16,000 relocated earthquakes since 1975 recorded by the Xinjiang seismic network of China. The results show that most Ms≥ 5.0 hypocenters in the area are confined to a major intracontinental seismic shear zone （MSSZ）. The MSSZ, which dips southwards in Pamir has a north- dipping counterpart in the Hindu Kush to the west; the two tectonic realms are separated by the sinistral Chaman transform fault of the India-Asia collisional zone. We demonstrate that the MSSZ constitutes the upper boundary of a south-dipping, actively subducting Pamir continental plate. Three seismic concentrations are recognized just above the Pamir MSSZ at depths between 45-65 km, 95-120 km, and 180-220 km, suggesting different structural relationships where each occurs. Results from focal mechanism solutions in all three seismological concentrations show orientations of the principal maximum stress to be nearly horizontal in an NNW-SSE direction. The south-dipping Pamir subduction slab is wedge-shaped with a wide upper top and a narrow deeper bottom; the slab has a gentle angle of dip in the upper part and steeper dips in the lower part below an elbow depth of ca. 80--120 km. Most of the deformation related to the earthquakes occurs within the hanging wall of the subducting Pamir slab. Published geologic data and repeated GPS measurements in the Pamir document a broad supra-subduc- tion, upper crustal zone of evolving antithetic （i.e. north-dipping） back-thrusts that contribute to northsouth crustal shortening and are responsible for exhumation of some ultrahigh-pressure rocks formed during earlier Tethyan plate convergence. Earthquake fault framework and seismotectonics of the Songpan-Garze region since 1900

Based on 4 781 observed faults （〉2 km length） from a 1：200 000 scale digital geologic map and 5 220 recorded seismic events since the year 1900, 993 earthquake faults are identified within the triangular Songpan-Garze study region. The study area is delineated by the nearly EW-trending East Kunlun fault zone to the north, the NW-trending Xianshuihe fault to the south and the NE-trending Longmenshan thrust belt to the east. Seismicity changes along these earthquake faults, spanning four 10-year intervals since 1970, show that following a strong earthquake swarm, which occurred in the Huya area in the mid-1970s, seismic activity increased from north to south, and migrated eastward along each major strike-slip fault zone. GPS observation data before 2008 indicate a displacement rate across the Xianshuihe fault zone to the south of -6.5- 8.6 mm/a, whereas across the East Kunlun fault zone to the north it was -1.8- 2.2 mm/a. The May 12, 2008 Ms8.0 Wenchuan earthquake, which occurred in the southeast corner of the study region, was the result of stable, high-speed left-lateral displacement along the Xianshuihe fault zone, and a sharp eastward bend of the fault trend in response to the presence of crystalline rocks in the Kangding area. Therefore, the 110-year established seismotectonic framework of the Songpan-Garze region can be defined by a network of various earthquake faults and the structural relations of the local earthquake activities.

Aflatoxin B1(AFB1) is a common contaminant in cereals of global concern， and long-term low-dose exposure can adversely affect human health. Here， we showed that populations with dietary patterns characterized by high-fat diet (HFD) might have an increased risk of exposure to high levels of AFB1. Our data indicated that chronic exposure of AFB1 induced “gut-liver axis” injury in mice under HFD and normal diet (ND) patterns. AFB1 further aggravated hepatic and intestinal injury， and intestinal microbiota disruption in HFD mice. Bifidobacterium breve BAA-2849 intervention analysis showed that liver injury and lipid disorders caused by AFB1 exposure were alleviated by regulating the proportions of different gut microbes. We demonstrated through a mice model that the populations with a dietary pattern of HFD might be more susceptible to AFB1 exposure and adverse effects on the gut-liver axis， and the toxicity of AFB1 exposure can be alleviated by regulating the gut microbiota.

To maintain,develop and rationally utilize marine organisms,understanding their genetic structure and habitat adaptation pattern is *** punctatus,which is a commercial fish species inhabiting the Indo-west Pacific Ocean,has shown an obvious annual global capture and aquaculture production decline due to climate changes and human *** the present study,restriction-site associated DNA sequencing(RAD-seq)was used to describe its genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphisms panel(SNPs).Among 146 individuals collected at nine locations scattered in China,Korea and Japan,a set of 632,090 SNPs were *** genetic analysis showed that *** individuals were divided into two significant genetic ***,potential genetic differentiation between northern and southern population of *** was *** results indicated that gene flow existed among sampling locations of ***,especially from southern Japan to ***,candidate genes associated with habitat adaptations of *** were identified,which are involved in diverse physiological processes of *** including growth and development(e.g.,KIDINS220,PAN3),substance metabolism(e.g.,PGM5)and immune response(e.g.,VAV3,CCT7,HSPA12B).Our findings may aid in understanding the possible mechanisms for the population genetic structure and local adaptation of ***,which is beneficial to establish the management and conservation units of ***,guiding the rational use of resources,with reference significance for a profound understanding of the adaptative mechanisms of other marine organisms to the environment.

Size is one of the most important characteristics of nanoparticles to influence their biodistribution and antitumoral *** with large sizes have difficulty in deep tumor penetration,while small particles are easily removed from tumor tissues due to the high tumor interstitial fluid *** address these issues,an intelligent core-crosslinked polyion complex micelle(cPCM)with a reversibly sizeswitchable feature was engineered in this *** micelles are consisting of methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(D,L-lactide)copolymer(mPEG-PLA),mPEG-PLA-(HE)6CC,and mPEG-PLA-(RG)6CC at an optimal mass ratio of 6:1:1 with an antiangiogenic compound,dabigatran etexilate(DE),*** net charge inside the micelles is switchable when exposed to different pH conditions,thereby leading to revisable size-change of ***-loaded micelles(DE@cPCM)can swell and release drugs at the tumor sites with a mildly acidic pH,while they shrink and protect the cargo from leaking into the blood circulation with a neutral *** indicated that DE@cPCM can inhibit tumor angiogenesis in vitro and in vivo,thereby efficiently restraining tumor growth in a 4T1-bearing mouse ***,the sizeswitchable cPCM is a promising nanoplatform for targeting delivery of anticarcinogens into the matrix of tumor tissues.

Plants have evolved complex physical and chemical defense systems that allow them to withstand herbivory *** of a complex mixture of very-long-chain fatty acids(VLCFAs)and their derivatives,cuticular wax constitutes the first physical line of defense against ***,we report the function of Glossy 8(ZmGL8),which encodes a 3-ketoacyl reductase belonging to the fatty acid elongase complex,in orchestrating wax production and jasmonic acid(JA)-mediated defenses against herbivores in maize(Zea mays).The mutation of GL8 enhanced chemical defenses by activating the JA-dependent *** observed a trade-off between wax accumulation and JA levels across maize glossy mutants and 24 globally collected maize inbred *** addition,we demonstrated that mutants defective in cuticular wax biosynthesis in Arabidopsis thaliana and maize exhibit enhanced chemical *** transcriptomic and lipidomic analyses indicated that the gl8 mutant confers chemical resistance to herbivores by remodeling VLCFA-related lipid metabolism and subsequent JA biosynthesis and *** results suggest that VLCFA-related lipid metabolism has a critical role in regulating the trade-offs between cuticular wax and JA-mediated chemical defenses.
