Flexible electrochromic fiber with rapid color switching and high optical modulation

Though flexible electrochromic devices have shown huge potential application in the fields of safety warning,display and smart windows,limited attention was paid on preparing flexible electrochromic fiber because of the difficulty in fabricating the multilayer electrochromic device structure in one-dimensional *** this study,a flexible electrochromic nylon fiber based on Ag nanowires(NWs)/PEDOT:PSS/WO3 nanoparticles(NPs)(PEDOT:PSS=poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):polystyrenesulfonic acid)is successfully fabricated,delivering rapid color switching(2.5 and 9 s for bleaching and coloration)and high optical modulation(65.5%at 633 nm),and sustainable to repeated mechanical *** NWs,PEDOT:PSS and WO3 NPs were dip-coated on the nylon fiber,resulting in an electrochromic fiber electrode with stable fiber resistance of 50-100Ω/10 cm,which can withstand mechanical deformation against 300 times of bending cycles with bending radius of 0.5 cm,and sustain 30 times of *** the galvanostatic tests,the capacitance of the electrochromic electrode can maintain 70%of the initial value even after 5,000 times of charge-discharge *** in knotted shape,the fiber still shows excellent color *** study provides a novel method to construct flexible electrochromic fiber and pave the way for the development of flexible optoelectronic devices,such as flexible and wearable displays.

Al_(2)O_(3)/HfO_(2) Nanolaminate Dielectric Boosting IGZO-Based Flexible Thin-Film Transistors

Flexible thin-film transistors(TFTs)have attracted wide interest in the development of flexible and wearable displays or ***,the conventional high processing temperatures hinder the preparation of stable and reliable dielectric materials on flexible ***,we develop a stable laminated Al_(2)O_(3)/HfO_(2) insulator by atomic layer deposition at a relatively lower temperature of 150℃.A sputtered amorphous indium-gallium-zinc oxide(IGZO)with the stoichiometry of In_(0.37)Ga_(0.20)Zn_(0.18)O_(0.25) is used as the active channel *** flexible TFTs with bottom-gate top-contacted configuration are further fabricated on a flexible polyimide substrate with the Al_(2)O_(3)/HfO_(2) *** from the unique structural and compositional configuration in the nanolaminates consisting of amorphous Al_(2)O_(3),crystallized HfO_(2),and the aluminate Al-Hf-O phase,the as-prepared TFTs present the carrier mobilities of 9.7 cm^(2) V^(−1) s^(−1),ON/OFF ratio of-1.3×10^(6),subthreshold voltage of 0.1 V,saturated current up to 0.83 mA,and subthreshold swing of 0.256 V dec^(−1),signifying a high-performance flexible TFT,which simultaneously able to withstand the bending radius of 40 *** TFTs with nanolaminate insulator possess satisfactory humidity stability and hysteresis behavior in a relative humidity of 60-70%,a temperature of 25-30℃ *** yield of IGZO-based TFTs with the nanolaminate insulator reaches 95%.

In-situ sugar-templated porous elastomer sensor with high sensitivity for wearables

Fabrication of elastic pressure sensors with low cost,high sensitivity,and mechanical durability is important for wearables,electronic skins and soft ***,we develop high-sensitivity porous elastomeric sensors for piezoresistive and capacitive pressure ***,a porous polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)sponge embedded with conductive fillers of carbon nanotubes(CNTs)or reduced graphene oxide(rGO)was fabricated by an in-situ sugar template *** sensor demonstrates sensitive deformation to applied pressure,exhibiting large and fast response in resistance or capacitance for detection of a wide range of pressure(0‒5 kPa).PDMS,as a high-elasticity framework,enables creation of sensors with high sensitivity,excellent stability,and durability for long-term *** highest sensitivities of 22.1 and 68.3 kPa−1 can be attained by devices with 5%CNTs and 4%rGO,*** geometrics of the sponge sensor is tailorable using tableting technology for different *** sensors demonstrate finger motion detection and heart-rate monitoring in real-time,as well as a capacitive sensor array for identification of pressure and shape of placed objects,exhibiting good potential for wearables and human-machine interactions.

Orbit and clock products for quad-system satellites with undifferenced ambiguity fixing approach

Integer Ambiguity Resolution(IAR)can significantly improve the accuracy of GNSS Precise Orbit Determination(POD).Traditionally,the IAR in POD is achieved at the Double Differenced(DD)*** this contribution,we develop an Un-Differenced(UD)IAR method for Global Positioning System(GPS)+BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS)+Galileo navigation satellite system(Galileo)+Global'naya Navigatsionnaya Sputnikovaya Sistema(GLONASS)quad-system POD by calibrating UD ambiguities in the raw carrier phase and generating the so-called carrier *** on this method,we generate the UD ambiguity-fixed orbit and clock products for the Wuhan Innovation Application Center(IAC)of the International GNSS Monitoring and Assessment System(iGMAS).One-year observations in 2020 from 150 stations are employed to investigate performance of orbit and clock ***,the UD Ambiguity Resolution(AR)yields more resolved integer ambiguities than the traditional DD AR,scaling up to 9%,attributable to its avoidance of station baseline *** from the removal of ambiguity parameters,the computational efficiency of parameter estimation undergoes a substantial 70%*** with the float solution,the orbit consistencies of UD AR solution achieve the accuracy of 1.9,5.2,2.8,2.1,and 2.7 cm for GPS,BeiDou-2 Navigation Satellite System(BDS-2),BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite System(BDS-3),Galileo,and GLONASS satellites respectively,reflecting enhancements of 40%,24%,54%,34%,and 42%.Moreover,the standard deviations of Satellite Laser Ranging(SLR)residuals are spanning 2.5–3.5 cm,underscoring a comparable accuracy to the DD AR solution,with discrepancies below 5%.A notable advantage of UD AR lies in its capability to produce the Integer Recovered Clock(IRC),facilitating Precise Point Positioning(PPP)AR without requiring additional Uncalibrated Phase Delay(UPD)*** assess the performance of quad-system kinematic PPP based on IRC,a network comprising 120 stations is uti

Hybrid constructed wetlands for highly polluted river water treatment and comparison of surface-and subsurface-flow cells

A series of large pilot constructed wetland （CW） systems were constructed near the confluence of an urban stream to a larger fiver in Xi＇an, a northwestern megacity in China, for treating polluted stream water before it entered the receiving water body. Each CW system is a combination of surface- and subsurface-flow cells with local gravel, sand or slag as substrates and Phragmites australis and Typha orientalis as plants. During a one-year operation with an average surface loading of 0.053 m3/（***）, the overall COD, BOD, NH3-N, total nitrogen （TN） and total phosphorus （TP） removals were 72.7% ~ 4.5%, 93.4% ＋ 2.1%, 54.0% ＋ 6.3%, 53.9% ~ 6.0% and 69.4% ：t： 4.6%, respectively, which brought about an effective improvement of the fiver water quality. Surface-flow cells showed better NH3-N removal than their TN removal while subsurface-flow cells showed better TN removal than their NH3-N removal. Using local slag as the substrate, the organic and phosphorus removal could be much improved. Seasonal variation was also found in the removal of all the pollutants and autumn seemed to be the best season for pollutant removal due to the moderate water temperature and well grown plants in the CWs.

Encapsulation of MnS Nanocrystals into N,S-Co-doped Carbon as Anode Material for Full Cell Sodium-Ion Capacitors

Sodium-ion capacitors(SICs)have received increasing interest for grid stationary energy storage application due to their affordability,high power,and energy *** major challenge for SICs is to overcome the kinetics imbalance between faradaic anode and nonfaradaic *** boost the Na+reaction kinetics,the present work demonstrated a high-rate MnS-based anode by embedding the MnS nanocrystals into the N,S-co-doped carbon matrix(MnS@NSC).Benefiting from the fast pseudocapacitive Na+storage behavior,the resulting composite exhibits extraordinary rate capability(205.6 mAh g−1 at 10 A g−1)and outstanding cycling stability without notable degradation after 2000 cycles.A prototype SIC was demonstrated using MnS@NSC anode and N-doped porous carbon(NC)cathode;the obtained hybrid SIC device can display a high energy density of 139.8 Wh kg−1 and high power density of 11,500 W kg−1,as well as excellent cyclability with 84.5%capacitance retention after 3000 *** superior electrochemical performance is contributed to downsizing of MnS and encapsulation of conductive N,S-co-doped carbon matrix,which not only promote the Na+and electrons transport,but also buffer the volume variations and maintain the structure integrity during Na+insertion/extraction,enabling its comparable fast reaction kinetics and cyclability with NC cathode.
