Enhancing crystal integrity and structural rigidity of CsPbBr3 nanoplatelets to achieve a narrow colorsaturated blue emission

Quantum-confined CsPbBr3 perovskites are promising blue emitters for ultra-high-definition displays,but their soft lattice caused by highly ionic nature has a limited stability.Here,we endow CsPbBr3 nanoplatelets(NPLs)with atomic crystal-like structural rigidity through proper surface engineering,by using strongly bound N-dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid(DBSA).A stable,rigid crystal structure,as well as uniform,orderly-arranged surface of these NPLs is achieved by optimizing intermediate reaction stage,by switching from molecular clusters to mono-octahedra,while interaction with DBSA resulted in formation of a CsxO monolayer shell capping the NPL surface.As a result,both structural and optical stability of the CsPbBr3 NPLs is enhanced by strong covalent bonding of DBSA,which inhibits undesired phase transitions and decomposition of the perovskite phase potentially caused by ligand desorption.Moreover,rather small amount of DBSA ligands at the NPL surface results in a short inter-NPL spacing in their closely-packed films,which facilitates efficient charge injection and transport.Blue photoluminescence of the produced CsPbBr3 NPLs is bright(nearly unity emission quantum yield)and peaks at 457 nm with an extremely narrow bandwidth of 3.7 nm at 80 K,while the bandwidth of the electroluminescence(peaked at 460 nm)also reaches a record-narrow value of 15 nm at room temperature.This value corresponds to the CIE coordinates of(0.141,0.062),which meets Rec.2020 standards for ultra-high-definition displays.

SNF1-related protein kinase 2(SnRK2)family members are essential components of the plant abscisic acid(ABA)signaling pathway initiated by osmotic stress and triggering a drought stress response.This study characterized the molecular properties of TaSnRK2.4 and its function in mediating adaptation to drought in Triticum aestivum.Transcripts of TaSnRK2.4 were upregulated upon drought and ABA signaling and associated with drought-and ABA-responsive cis-elements ABRE and DRE,and MYB and MYC binding sites in the promoter as indicated by reporter GUS protein staining and activity driven by truncations of the promoter.Yeast two-hybrid,BiFC,and Co-IP assays indicated that TaSnRK2.4 protein interacts with TaPP2C01 and an ABF transcription factor(TF)TaABF2.The results suggested that TaSnRK2.4 forms a functional TaPP2C01-TaSnRK2.4-TaABF2 module with its upstream and downstream partners.Transgene analysis revealed that TaSnRK2.4 and TaABF2 positively regulate drought tolerance whereas TaPP2C01 acts negatively by modulating stomatal movement,osmotic adjustment,reactive oxygen species(ROS)homeostasis,and root morphology.Expression analysis,yeast one-hybrid,and transcriptional activation assays indicated that several osmotic stress-responsive genes,including TaSLAC1-4,TaP5CS3,TaSOD5,TaCAT1,and TaPIN4,are regulated by TaABF2.Transgene analysis verified their functions in positively regulating stomatal movement(TaSLAC1-4),proline accumulation(TaP5CS3),SOD activity(TaSOD5),CAT activity(TaCAT1),and root morphology(TaPIN4).There were high correlations between plant biomass and yield with module transcripts in a wheat variety panel cultivated under drought conditions in the field.Our findings provide insights into understanding plant drought response underlying the SnRK2 signaling pathway in common wheat.

So far,a clear understanding about the relationship of variable energy band structure with the corresponding charge-discharge process of energy storage materials is still lacking.Here,using optical spectroscopy(red-green-blue(RGB)value,reflectivity,transmittance,UV-vis,XPS,UPS)to studyα-Co(OH)_(2) electrode working in KOH electrolyte as the research object,we provide direct experimental evidence that:(1)The intercalation of OH-ions will reduce the valence/conduction band(VB and CB)and band gap energy(Eg)values;(2)The deintercalation of OH-ions corresponds with the reversion of VB,CB and E_(g) to the initial values;(3)The color of Co(OH)_(2) electrode also exhibit regular variations in RGB value during the charge-discharge process.

Cirque glaciers found on the Colorado Front Range, USA are sensitive to climate change and are important for water supply and the delivery of water downstream. These glaciers are shrinking at a rapid rate in response to the global climate change, and thus it is important to track and analyze them. One of the ways to monitor these glaciers is by using multispectral satellite imagery (Landsat imagery). In this article, the feasibility of tracking glacial area via Landsat satellites has been discussed and the trend of 13 glaciers in the Colorado Front Range Region has been analyzed from 1993 to 2021. In this period, the total glacial area across 13 glaciers in the Colorado Front Range Region has decreased by 63.6%, and a significant correlation (p-value p < 0.05) found with the annual global average temperature indicates that the retraction of glaciers is likely a response to the global warming.

In April 2015,the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee adopted the“Outline of the Plan for the Coordinated Development of Beijing,Tianjin,and Hebei.”In July 2017,the“Plan for the Integrated Development of Beijing,Tianjin,and Hebei Talents(2017–2030),”jointly prepared by the leading groups of the three regions,was officially released.The core of the coordinated development of these three regions is the orderly removal of non-capital functions from Beijing.Talents,especially medical talents,are integral to this transition.The construction of a medical talent community across these three regions promotes the further development of a healthier China,meets the growing needs of the people for a better life,and embodies the concept of putting people first.This paper begins by examining the current situation of the construction of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei medical talent community,reviewing the progress made,analyzing existing problems,and proposing targeted countermeasures and suggestions.

With technology advances and human requirements increasing, human-computer interaction plays an important role in our daily lives. Among these interactions, gesture-based recognition offers a natural and intuitive user experience that does not require physical contact and is becoming increasingly prevalent across various fields. Gesture recognition systems based on Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) millimeter-wave radar are receiving widespread attention due to their ability to operate without wearable sensors, their robustness to environmental factors, and the excellent penetrative ability of radar signals. This paper first reviews the current main gesture recognition applications. Subsequently, we introduce the system of gesture recognition based on FMCW radar and provide a general framework for gesture recognition, including gesture data acquisition, data preprocessing, and classification methods. We then discuss typical applications of gesture recognition systems and summarize the performance of these systems in terms of experimental environment, signal acquisition, signal processing, and classification methods. Specifically, we focus our study on four typical gesture recognition systems, including air-writing recognition, gesture command recognition, sign language recognition, and text input recognition. Finally, this paper addresses the challenges and unresolved problems in FMCW radar-based gesture recognition and provides insights into potential future research directions.

INTRODUCTION Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)is a neuroplasticity-enhancing technique that modifies brain responsiveness to various therapeutic modalities in clinical psychiatric and neurological applications. Furthermore,its effect can be attributed to long-term potentiation(LTP)or longterm depression(LTD)-like neuroplasticity.However,responsiveness to rTMS is largely variable in healthy and pathological brains and is mediated by complex biological mechanisms.Metaplasticity refers to a higher-order plasticity mechanism in which the direction and magnitude of synaptic plasticity are modified by prior neuronal activity and is believed to be a significant factor leading to the response variability of rTMs.

In this paper,a novel multi-frame track-before-detect algorithm is proposed,which is based on root label clustering to reduce the high computational complexity arising by observation area expansion and clutter/noise density increase.A criterion of track extrapolation is used to construct state transition set,root label is marked by state transition set to obtain the distribution information of multiple targets in measurement space,then measurement plots of multi-frame are divided into several clusters,and finally multi-frame track-before-detect algorithm is implemented in each cluster.The computational complexity can be reduced by employing the proposed algorithm.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can accurately detect multiple targets in close proximity and reduce the number of false tracks.

Background Growth-promoting antibiotics have been banned by law in the livestock and poultry breeding industry in many countries.Various alternatives to antibiotics have been investigated for using in livestock.Epimedium(EM)is an herb rich in flavonoids that has many beneficial effects on animals.Therefore,this study was planned to explore the potential of EM as a new alternative antibiotic product in animal feed.Methods A total of 7201-day-old male broilers(Arbor Acres Plus)were randomly divided into six groups and fed basal diet(normal control;NC),basal diet supplemented with antibiotic(75 mg/kg chlortetracycline;CTC),and basal diet supplemented with 100,200,400 or 800 mg/kg EM extract for 6 weeks(EM100,EM200,EM400 and EM800 groups).The growth performance at weeks 3 and 6 was measured.Serum,intestinal tissue and feces were collected to assay for antioxidant indexes,intestinal permeability,lactic acid and short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)profiles,microbial composition,and expression of intestinal barrier genes.Results The average daily feed intake in CTC group at 1-21 d was significantly higher than that in the NC group,and had no statistical difference with EM groups.Compared with NC group,average daily gain in CTC and EM200 groups increased significantly at 1-21 and 1-42 d.Compared with NC group,EM200 and EM400 groups had significantly decreased levels of lipopolysaccharide and D-lactic acid in serum throughout the study.The concentrations of lactic acid,acetic acid,propionic acid,butyric acid and SCFAs in feces of birds fed 200 mg/kg EM diet were significantly higher than those fed chlortetracycline.The dietary supplementation of chlortetracycline and 200 mg/kg EM significantly increased ileal expression of SOD1,Claudin-1 and ZO-1 genes.Dietary supplemented with 200 mg/kg EM increased the relative abundances of g_NK4A214_group and Lactobacillus in the jejunal,while the relative abundances of Microbacterium,Kitasatospora,Bacteroides in the jejunal and Gallibacterium in the ileum decreased.Conclusion Supplementati
