Investigation of formaldehyde sources and its relative emission intensity in shipping channel environment

Formaldehyde(HCHO)is considered one of the most abundant gas-phase carbonyl compounds in the atmosphere,which can be directly emitted through transportation ***-Path Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy(LP-DOAS)was used to observe HCHO in the river channel of Wusong Wharf in Shanghai,China for the whole year of *** to the impact of ship activity,the annual average HCHO level in the channel is about2.5 times higher than that in the nearby campus *** explain the sources of HCHO under different meteorological conditions,the tracer-pair of CO and O_(x)(NO_(2)+O_(3))was used on the clustered air *** results of the source appointment show that primary,secondary and background account for 24.14%(3.34±1.19 ppbv),44.78%(6.20±2.04ppbv)and 31.09%(4.31±2.33 ppbv)of the HCHO in the channel when the air masses were from the mixed direction of the city and channel,*** performing background station subtraction at times of high primary HCHO values and resolving the plume peaks,directly emitted HCHO/NO_(2)in the channel environment and plume were determined to be mainly distributed between 0.2 and *** cargo ships with higher sailing speeds or main engine powers tend to have higher HCHO/NO_(2)*** the knowledge of NO_(2)(or NO_(x))emission levels from ships,this study may provide data support for the establishment of HCHO emission factors.

安注结构对于压水堆一回路的压力边界失效时防止堆芯将因为持续的发热而“蒸干”有着重要作用。为此,本文通过对安注结构进行建模仿真计算,分析安注结构对于流动的影响,并基于代理模型进行多目标优化,得出文丘里形式的直接安注结构安注管有两个作用。一是节流作用,防止反应堆内的流体倒流,二是与挡流板配合使用,防止安注冷水在大流量时冲到吊篮组件上。通过优化使导流板两侧流动顺畅,导流板两侧压力分布接近,都较为均匀,优化后的导流板受力降低,优化的效果较为明显。

Spin Resolved Zero-Line Modes in Minimally Twisted Bilayer Graphene from Exchange Field and Gate Voltage

The reliance on spin-orbit coupling or strong magnetic fields has always posed significant challenges for the mass production and even laboratory realization of most topological materials. Valley-based topological zero-line modes have attracted widespread attention due to their substantial advantage of being initially realizable with just an external electric field. However, the uncontrollable nature of electrode alignment and precise fabrication has greatly hindered the advancement in this field. By utilizing minimally twisted bilayer graphene and introducing exchange fields from magnetic substrates, we successfully realize a spin-resolved, electrode-free topological zeroline mode. Further integration of electrodes that do not require alignment considerations significantly enhances the tunability of the system's band structure. Our approach offers a promising new support for the dazzling potential of topological zero-line mode in the realm of low-energy-consumption electronics.

Modelling the formation and dissolution behavior of alumina agglomerate in the cryolite

The presence of alumina agglomerates seriously affects the current efficiency of the aluminum electrolysis *** the dynamic dissolution process of agglomerates is essential to improve the current efficiency of aluminum electrolysis.A mathematical model is proposed to describe the different phenomena from the formation until complete dissolution of *** permeation and solidification processes of cryolite,a semi-analytical mathematical model is developed to formulate the formation,melting and dissolution processes of agglomerates,and the time duration for each stage is *** and heat mass transfer of agglomerates are explored based on the packing theory and mechanism of heat mass transfer in wet porous *** approach is applied to investigate the main factors affecting the dissolution stages and porosity of *** results show that the superheat has a great influence on the formation and melting stage,the diameter of agglomerates can reach 14.93 mm for 200 particles *** density decreases with the increase of agglomerated particle number,which varies in the range of 2.27-2.28 g/cm^(3).The average dissolution rate of agglomerates is about 1.83×10^(-5)-2.95×10^(-5) kg/s within the range of alumina concentration in this study.

The original Leray’s problem concerns the well-posedness of weak solutions to the steady incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in a distorted pipe,which approach the Poiseuille flow subject to the no-slip boundary condition at spatial *** this paper,the same problem with the Navier-slip boundary condition instead of the no-slip boundary condition,is *** to the complexity of the boundary condition,some new ideas,presented as follows,are introduced to handle the extra difficulties caused by boundary ***,the Poiseuille flow in the semi-infinite straight pipe with the Navier-slip boundary condition will be introduced,which will serve as the asymptotic profile of the solution to the generalized Leray’s problem at spatial ***,a solenoidal vector function defined in the whole pipe,satisfying the Navierslip boundary condition,having the designated flux and equalling the Poiseuille flow at a large distance,will be carefully *** plays an important role in reformulating our ***,the energy estimates depend on a combined L2-estimate of the gradient and the stress tensor of the velocity.

Effects of orientation on the fatigue crack growth behaviors of the ZK60 magnesium alloy in air and PBS

Strong anisotropic corrosion and mechanical properties caused by specimen orientations greatly limit the applications of wrought magnesium *** investigate the influences of specimen orientation,the corrosion tests and(corrosion)fatigue crack growth tests were *** rolled and transverse surfaces of the materials show distinct corrosion rate differences in the stable corrosion stage,but the truth is the opposite for the initial stage of *** air,specimen orientations have a significant influence on the plastic deformation mechanisms near the crack tip,which results in different fatigue fracture surfaces and cracking *** with R-T specimens,N-T specimens show a slower fatigue crack growth(FCG)rate in air,which can be attributed to crack closure effects and deformation twinning near the crack *** corrosion environment will not significantly change the main plastic deformation mechanisms for the same type of ***,the FCG rate in phosphate buffer saline(PBS)is one order of magnitude higher than that in air,which is caused by the combined effects of hydrogen-induced cracking and anodic *** to the similar corrosion rates at crack tips,the specimens with different orientations display close FCG rates in PBS.
