The development of lit;triton ion batteries （LIBs） relies on the improvement in the performance of electrode materials with higher capacity, higher rate capability, and longer cycle lift;. In this review article, the recent advances in carbon nanotube （CNT） anodes, CNT-based composite electrodes, and CNT current collectors for high performance LIBs are concerned. CNT has received considerable attentions as a candidate material for the LIB applications. In addition to a possible choice for anode, CNT has been recognized as a solution in improving the performance of the state-of-the-art electrode materials. The CNT-based composite electrodes can be fabricated by mechanical or chem- ical approaches. Owing to the large aspect ratio and the high electrical conductivity, CNTs at very low loading can lead to an efficient conductive network. The excellent mechanical strength suggests the great potential in forming a structure scaffold to accommodate nano-sized electrode materials. Accordingly, the incorporation of CNTs will enhance the conductivity of the composite electrodes, mitigatc the agglomeration problem, decrease the dependence on inactive binders, and improve the clcctrochenfical properties of both anode and cathode materials remarkably. Freestanding CNT network can be used as lightweight current collectors to increase the overall energy density of LIBs. Finally, research perspectives for exploiting CNTs in high-performance LIBs are discussed.

A sensitive,specific and rapid high-performance liquid chromatography-electronic spray ionization-tandem mass spectrometric method was developed and validated for the determination of 7,4'-dihydroxylflavone(7,4'-DHF)in rat ***(internal standard,IS)was added in the collected plasma samples and subsided together by a simple one-step protein precipitation using acetonitrile-methanol(1:1,v/v).Chromatographic separation was performed on an Agilent Zorbax XDB C18 chromatography column and gradient elution with the mobile phase consisting of methanol and 0.1%formic acid was *** mass spectrometric detection was performed by negative ion electro-spray ionization in multiple selected reactions monitoring(MRM)mode,with the transitions of m/z 253.1→113.0 for 7,4'-DHF and m/z 268.9→158.8 for *** calibration curve has liner relationship over the concentration range of ***/mL(r=0.995.4).The intra-and inter-day precision(RSD%)was less than 10%,and the accuracy(RE%,relative error)ranged from-5.2%to 8.0%.The fully validated method was applied to the pharmacokinetics(PK)of 7,4'-dihydroxylflavone(7,4'-DHF)in rat plasma after oral administration(two doses:15 and ***/kg)and intravenous injection(***/kg).The result showed that Tmax and Cmax was 1.33±0.29.h and 0.12±***/mL(***/kg),and 1.17±0.29.h and 0.17±***/mL(***/kg),*** bioavailability was 0.078%(***/kg)and 0.070%(***/kg),respectively.

Steam Oxidation Resistance Comparison of Several Silicon Carbide Refractories at Elevated Temperatures

The oxidation tests of different SiC refractories including Si3N4-SiC bricks,Si3N4-Si2N2O-SiC bricks from China(SNO-1),Si3N4-Si2N2O-SiC bricks from overseas(SNO-2),SiAlON-SiC bricks,oxides bonded SiC bricks,self-bonded SiC bricks as well as SiC castables were carried out in the steam atmosphere(1 000 ℃,32 kg·m-3·h-1)for different durations(100,200,300,400 and 500 h).The mass,the volume,the bulk density and the apparent porosity before and after the oxidation were *** XRD and SEM analyses were *** results indicate that:(1)under the steam atmosphere condition(1 000 ℃,32 kg·m-3·h-1),as the oxidation time increases from 0 to 500 h,the volume and the mass of the silicon carbide refractories increase,while the bulk density decreases;in terms of the apparent porosity,oxides bonded SiC bricks and SiC castables present an increasing trend,Si3N4-SiC bricks,SiAlON-SiC bricks and self-bonded SiC bricks present an increasing trend first and then a decreasing trend,and Si3N4-Si2N2O-SiC bricks present a decreasing trend or a trend of decreasing first and then increasing;(2)as for Si3N4-Si2N2O-SiC bricks,SNO-1 and SNO-2 have basically the same chemical and phase composition,SNO-2 has the lower mass change rate than SNO-1 during oxidation from 200-500 h,which indicates that SNO-2 has the better steam oxidation resistance than SNO-1.

Organic aerosol(OA)is a major component of atmospheric particulate matter(PM)with complex composition and formation processes influenced by various *** reduction can alter both precursors and oxidants which further affects secondary OA *** we provide an observational analysis of secondary OA(SOA)variation properties in Yangtze River Delta(YRD)of eastern China in response to large scale of emission reduction during Chinese New Year(CNY)holidays from 2015 to 2020,and the COVID-19 pandemic period from January to March,*** found a 17%increase of SOA proportion during the COVID *** relative enrichment of SOA is also found during multi-year CNY holidays with dramatic reduction of anthropogenic *** types of oxygenated OA(OOA)influenced by mixed emissions and SOA formation were found to be the dominant components during the lockdown in YRD *** results highlight that these emission-reduction-induced changes in organic aerosol need to be considered in the future to optimize air pollution control measures.

Silicon carbide castables of different SiC contents(86%and 71%,by mass)were prepared using white fused corundum,silicon carbide particles and fines,activated alumina powder,silica fume and pure calcium aluminate cement as main starting materials,heat treating at 1000℃ for 3 h,and oxidizing in steam atmosphere at 1000℃ for different durations(100,200,300,400 and 500 h).The mass and volume before and after oxidation,the bulk density,the apparent porosity and the cold compressive strength were *** phase composition and the microstructure before and after oxidation were analyzed by XRD and *** results indicate that:(1)within 300 h of oxidation duration,silicon carbide shows an increasing oxidation rate;however,the oxidation rate is low during 300-500 h of oxidation duration;2)the oxidation rate of the specimen with 71%SiC is slightly higher than the one with 86%SiC;3)with the increasing oxidation degree of silicon carbide,the apparent porosity of the specimens tends to increase,followed by the declining bulk density and cold compressive strength.

Polar promotors have been proven effective in catalyzing the polysulfide(PS)reduction reaction(PSRR)process in lithium-sulfur(Li-S)***,the promotor surface tends to be poisoned due to the accumulation of insoluble discharging products of lithium disulfide(Li_(2)S_(2))and lithium sulfide(Li_(2)S)during Li-S battery ***,we investigate the detailed PSRR mechanism on the surface of manganese sulfides(MnS)as a representative promoter by performing in-situ Raman mapping *** catalytic ability of MnS enables thorough electrochemical reduction of PSs to Li_(2)S_(2) and Li_(2)S on the MnS *** generated Li_(2)S_(2) and Li_(2)S then adsorb the dissolved PSs via chemical reactions among sulfur species during the subsequent PSRR *** phenomenon mitigates promotor poisoning and continuously improves the reversible ***,the assembled Li-S cell demonstrates excellent electrochemical performance after introducing a conductive interlayer containing a thin piece of carbon nanotube film and MnS promotors.

Rational design of a robust carbon matrix has a profound impact on the performance of flexible/wearable lithium/sulfur ***,we demonstrate a freestanding three-dimensional super-aligned carbon nanotube (SACNT) matrix reinforced with a multi-functionalized carbon coating for flexible,high-areal sulfur loading *** employing the sulfur/nitrogen co-doped carbon (SNC)"glue",the joints in the SACNT scaffold are tightly welded together so that the overall mechanical strength of the electrode is significantly enhanced to withstand the repeated bending as well as the volume change during *** SNC also shows intriguing catalytic effect that lowers the energy barrier of Li ion transport,propelling a superior redox conversion *** resulting binder-free and current collector-free sulfur cathode exhibits a high reversible capacity of 1,079 mAh·g^-1 at 1 C,a high-rate capacity of ~ 800 mAh·g^-1 at 5 C,and an average capacity decay rate of 0.037% per cycle at 2 C for 1,500 ***,a large-areal flexible Li/S pouch cell based on such mechanically robust cathode exhibits excellent capacity retention under arbitrary bending *** a high areal sulfur loading of 7 mg·cm^-2,the large-areal flexible cathode delivers an outstanding areal capacity of 6.3 mAh·cm^-2 at 0.5 C (5.86 mA·cm^-2),showing its promise for realizing practical high energy density flexible Li/S batteries.

Aligned carbon nanotube films coated with amorphous carbon were developed into novel templates by atomic layer deposition. Freestanding macroscopic metal-oxide nanotube films were then successfully synthesized by using these templates. The reactive amorphous carbon layer greatly improved the nuclei density, which ensured the high quality of the films and allowed for precise control of the wall thickness of the nanotubes. Using template-synthesized alumina nanotube films, we demonstrate a humidity sensor with a high response speed, a transmission electron microscopy （TEM） grid, and a catalyst support. The cross- stacked assembly, ultrathin thickness, chemical inertness, and high thermal stability of the alumina nanotube films contributed to the excellent performance of these devices. In addition, it is expected that the metal-oxide nanotube films would have significant potential owing to their material richness, macroscopic appearance, flexibility, compatibility with the semiconducting technologies, and the feasibility of mass production.
