Thermoelectric materials Mg2Si0.8Sn0.2 were sintered under three different conditions including no electricity sintering（NCS）, low electricity sintering（LCS）,and high electricity sintering（HCS）. Thermoelectric performance and microstructure of three group samples were measured and compared. The results indicate that the application of electric current during the sintering process changes the microstructure and significantly increases the density of samples, and increases the electric conductivity and the power factor. The electric current activated/assisted sintering is an effective way to obtain thermoelectric materials with excellent performance.

Bt corn is one of the top three large-scale commercialized transgenic crops around the world. It is increasingly clear that the complementary durable approaches for pest control, which combine the endogenous defense of the crop with the introduced foreign genes, are promising alternative strategies for pest resistance management and the next generation of insect-resistant transgenic crops. In the present study, we tested the inducible effects of exogenous jasmonic acid （JA） on direct-defense chemical content, Bt protein concentration, and related gene expression in the leaves of Bt corn cultivar 34B24 and non-Bt cultivar 34B23 by chemical analysis, ELISA, and RT-PCR. The results show that the expression of LOX, PR-2a, MPI, and PR-I genes in the treated leaf （the first leaf） was promoted by exogenous JA both in 34B24 and 34B23. As compared with the control, the concentration of DIMBOA in the treated leaf was significantly increased by 63 and 18% for 34B24 and 34B23, respectively. The total phenolic acid was also increased by 24 and 12% for both 34B24 and 34B23. The Bt protein content of 34B24 in the treated leaf was increased by 13% but decreased significantly by 27% in the second leaf. The induced response of 34B24 was in a systemic way and was much stronger than that of 34B23. Those findings indicated that there is a synergistic interaction between Bt gene and internally induced chemical defense system triggered by externally applied JA in Bt corn.

Cementitious gangue-fly ash backfill(CGB)is used as a green mining technology ***,under the coupled effects of geological stress and groundwater,the metal elements in the CGB tend to migrate into nearby strata,which can consequently result in pollution of the groundwater *** this paper,the influence of initial pH and stress damage on the migration behavior of metal elements in CGB is quantitatively studied through the multi-physical field coupling model of stress-permeability-con *** enhanced Nemerow index evaluation method is used to comprehensively evaluate the impact of these metal elements migration behaviors on the groundwater *** research results show that:(1)When the stress damage of the CGB increases from 0.76 to 0.95,the Darcy velocity at the bottom of the CGB first increases,then decreases,and finally stabilizes at 2.01×10^(-7)m/*** longest time to reach the maximum Darcy velocity is 3 a.(2)When the damage of the CGB is 0.95,the farthest migration distances of Al,Cr,Mn,Fe,Ba,and Pb are 40.5,34.0,29.8,32.9,38.8 and 32.1 m,respectively.(3)The alkaline environment stimulates the migration of Al,Cr,Fe,Mn,and Pb,whereas Ba migrates farther under acidic *** farthest migration distance of Ba is 31.6 m under pH 3.(4)The enhanced Nemerow index indicates that when stress damage increases from 0.76 to 0.95,the areas with poor water quality increase from 0 to 1.71%,and no area is classified as very poor *** the initial pH changes from 3 to 11,100%of the region is classified as fair or *** initial pH of the CGB has a relatively slight influence on the groundwater *** study provides experimental data and theoretical basis for the environmental evaluation of CGB.

AB5 （MlNi4.0Al0.3Cu0.5Zn0.2） alloy and CoB alloy were prepared by arc melting. AB5-CoB composites were synthesized by simple mixing of AB5 alloy powders and CoB alloy powders, and their electrochemical hydrogen storage properties were studied as negative electrodes in KOH aqueous solution. The maximum discharge capacity of the AB5-CoB（50%） composite （the content of CoB in the composite is 50 wt.%） reached 365.3 mAh.g^-1. After 100 charge-discharge cycles, the discharge capacity of the AB5-CoB（50%） composite was still much higher than that of the AB5 alloy. The high rate discharge capability （HRD） and potentiodynamic polarization were also tested.

This study was to investigate the effect of annexin A5 on testosterone secretion from primary rat Leydig cells and the underlying mechanisms. Isolated rat Leydig ceils were treated with annexin A5. Testosterone production was detected by chemiluminescence assay. The protein and mRNA of Steroidogenic acute regulatory （STAR）, P450scc, 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase （3β-HSD）, 17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase （17β-HSD）, and 17β-hydroxylase were examined by Western blotting and semi-quantitative RT-PCR, respectively. Annexin A5 significantly stimulated testosterone secretion from rat Leydig cells in dose- and time-dependent manners and increased mRNA and protein expression of STAR, P450scc, 3β-HSD, and 17β-HSD but not 17α-hydroxylase. Annexin A5 knockdown by siRNA significantly decreased the level of testosterone and protein expression of P450scc, 3β-HSD, and 17β-HSD. The significant activation of ERK1/2 signaling was observed at 5, 10, and 30 min after annexin A5 treatment. After the pretreatment of Leydig cells with ERK inhibitor PD98059 （50 μmol l^-1） for 20 min, the effects of annexin A5 on promoting testosterone secretion and increasing the expression of P450scc, 3β-HSD, and 17β-HSD were completely abrogated （P 〈 0.05）. Thus, ERK1/2 signaling is involved in the roles of annexin A5 in mediating testosterone production and the expression of P450scc, 3β-HSD, and 17β-HSD in Leydig cells.

Summary:Nurses'work-related fatigue has been recognized as a threat to nurse health and patient *** aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of fatigue among first-line nurses combating with COVID-19 in Wuhan,China,and to analyze its influencing factors on fatigue.A multi-center,descriptive,cross-sectional design with a convenience sample was *** statistical population consisted of the first-line nurses in 7 tertiary general hospitals from March 3,2020 to March 10,2020 in Wuhan of China.A total of 2667 samples from 2768 contacted participants completed the investgation,with a response rate of 96.35%.Social-demographic questionnaire,work-related questionnaire,Fatigue Scale-14,Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7,Patient Health Questionnaire-9,and Chinese Perceived Stress Scale were used to conduct online *** descriptive statistic of nurses'social-demographic characteristics was conducted,and the related variables of work,anxiety,depression,perceived stress and fatigue were analyzed by Z-tests,nonparametric test and Pearson's correlation *** significant factors which resulted in nurses'fatigue were further analyzed by multiple linear regression *** median score for the first-line nurses'fatigue in Wuhan was 4(2,8).The median score of physical and mental fatigue of them was 3(1,6)and 1(0,3)*** to the scoring criteria,35.06%nurses(w=935)of all participants were in the fatigue status,their median score of fatigue was 10(8,11),and the median score of physical and mental fatigue of them was 7(5,8)and 3(2,4)*** linear regression analysis revealed the participants in the risk groups of anxiety,depression and perceived stress had higher scores on physical and mental fatigue and the statistically significant positive correlation was observed between the variables and nurses'fatigue,the frequency of exercise and nurses'fatigue had a statistically significant negative correlation,and average daily working
