Clean air actions （CAAs） in China have been linked to considerable benefits in public ***,whether the beneficial effects of CAAs are equally distributed geographically is *** high-resolution maps of the distributions of major air pollutants (fine particulate matter[PM2.5]and ozone[O3]) and population,we aimed to track spatiotemporal changes in health impacts from,and geographic inequality embedded in,the reduced exposures to PM2.5and O3from 2013 to *** used a method established by the Global Burden of Diseases *** analyzing the changes in loss of life expectancy（LLE） attributable to PM2.5and O3,we calculated the gain of life expectancy （GLE） to quantify the health benefits of the air-quality ***,we assessed the geographic inequality embedded in the GLE using the Gini index （GI）.Based on risk assessments of PM2.5and O3,during the first stage of CAAs（2013 to 2017）,the mean GLE was 1.87 *** of the sum of the GLE was disproportionally distributed in about one quarter of the population exposed （GI 0.44）.During the second stage of CAAs（2017 to 2020）,the mean GLE increased to 3.94 months and geographic inequality decreased （GI 0.18）.According to our assessments,CAAs were enhanced,from the first to second stages,in terms of not only preventing premature mortality but also ameliorating health *** enhancements were related to increased sensitivity to the health effects of air pollution and synergic control of PM2.5and *** findings will contribute to optimizing future CAAs.

The Lenglongling Mountains （LLM） located in northeastern part of the Tibet Plateau, belong to a marginal area of the East Asian summer monsoon （EASM） and are sensitive to monsoon dynamics. Two tree-ring width chronologies developed from six sites of Picea crassifolia in the LLM were employed to study the regional drought variability. Correlation and temporal correlation analyses showed that relationships between the two chronologies and self-calibrated Palmer Drought Severity Index （sc_PDSI） were significant and stable across time, demonstrating the strength of sc_PDSI in modeling drought conditions in this region. Based on the relationships, the mean sc_PDSI was reconstructed for the period from 1786 to 2013. Dry conditions prevailed during 1817-1819, 1829-1831, 1928-1931 and 1999-2001. Relatively wet periods were identified for 1792-1795 and 1954-1956. Spatial correlations with other fourteen precipitation/drought reconstructed series in previous studies revealed that in arid regions of Northwest China, long-term variability of moisture conditions was synchronous before the 1950s at a decadal scale （1791-1954）. In northwestern margin of the EASM, most of all selected reconstructions had better consistency in low-frequency variation, especially during dry periods, indicating similar regional moisture variations and analogous modes of climate forcing on tree growth in the region.

In cognitive relay networks, the transmission of Secondary Users (SUs) suffers from the activity of Primary Users (PUs) and wireless channel fading. Therefore, how to achieve robust transmission for cognitive relay networks is a challenging task. In this paper, we propose a relaying transmission scheme which exploits robust beamforming at the physical layer and rateless codes at higher layers. We derive the optimal beamforming weight vector and analyze the performance of the proposed scheme when the channel estimation is not accurate between two SU nodes. We also study how the amount of channel information between SU and PU impacts the system performance. Simulation results validate our theoretical analysis and demonstrate that the proposed scheme can significantly enhance the system throughput.

Maize seedling blight caused by Fusarium verticillioides is a widely occurring maize disease,but the genetics and mechanisms of resistance are not well *** this study,GWAS performed by MLM and 3VmrMLM identified 40 and 20 QTNs,associated with seedling blight *** methods identified 49 and 36 genes,*** verification of candidate gene ZmSBR1 identified by both methods showed that the resistance of a mutant line to seedling blight decreased by 0.37 grade points after inoculation with ***,compared with the *** length of the stem rot lesion caused by *** increased by 86%in mutant seedlings,and the relative length of the adult plant stalk rot increased by 35%in mutant plants compared to the wild type after inoculation with Fusarium *** analysis showed that expression of defense-related genes after inoculation was down-regulated in the mutant compared to the wild type,synthesis of secondary metabolites associated with resistance was reduced,and the immune response triggered by PAMP decreased,resulting in decreased resistance of mutant maize *** gene association analysis showed that most maize inbred lines carried the susceptible haplotype.A functional PCR marker was *** results demonstrated that ZmSBR1 conferred resistance to multiple Fusarium diseases at the seedling and adult growth stages and had important application value in breeding.

Derivation of Putative Porcine Embryonic Germ Cells and Analysis of Their Multi-Lineage Differentiation Potential

Embryonic germ （EG） cells are cultured pluripotent stem cells derived from the primordial germ cells （PGCs） that migrate from the dorsal mesentery of the hindgut to the developing genital ridge. In this study, the morphology of the porcine genital ridge was assessed in embryos harvested on days 22-30 of pregnancy. PGCs from embryos at these stages were cultured to obtain porcine EG cell lines, and EG-like cells were derived from PGCs from embryos harvested on days 24-28 of pregnancy. The EG-like cells expressed Oct4, Sox2, Nanog, SSEA-3, SSEA-4 and alkaline phosphatase （AP）. These cells were able to form embryoid bodies （EBs） in suspension culture and differentiate into cells representative of the three germ layers as verified by a-fetoprotein （AFP）, s-smooth muscle actin （^-SMA）, and Nestin expression. Spontaneous differentiation from the porcine EG-like cells of delayed passage in vitro showed that they could differentiate into epithelial-like cells, mesenchymal-like cells and neuron-like cells. In vitro directed differentiation generated osteocytes, adipocytes and a variety of neural lineage cells, as demonstrated by alizarin red staining, oil red O staining, and immunoftuorescence for neuronal class III [3-tubulin （Tuj 1）, glial fibrillary protein （GFAP） and galactosylceramidase （GALC）, respectively. These results indicate that porcine EG-like cells have the potential for multi-lineage differentiation and are useful for basic porcine stem cell research.

Recycling of waste aluminum scraps to fabricate sulfidated zero-valent iron-aluminum particles for enhanced chromate removal

Massive waste aluminum scraps produced from the spent aluminum products have high electron capacity and can be recycled as an attractive alternative to materials based on zerovalent iron(Fe^(0))for the removal of oxidative contaminants from *** study thus proposed an approach to fabricate micron-sized sulfidated zero-valent iron-aluminum particles(S-Al^(0)@Fe^(0))with high reactivity,electron selectivity and capacity using recycled waste aluminum scraps.S-Al^(0)@Fe^(0)with a three-layer structure contained zero-valent aluminum(Al^(0))core,Fe^(0) middle layer and iron sulfide(FeS)*** rates of chromate(Cr(Ⅵ))removal by S-Al^(0)@Fe^(0)at pH 5.0-9.0 were 1.6-5.9 times greater than that by sulfidated zero-valent iron(S-Fe^(0)).The Cr(Ⅵ)removal capacity of S-Al^(0)@Fe^(0)was 8.2-,11.3-and 46.9-fold greater than those of S-Fe0,zero-valent iron-aluminum(Al^(0)-Fe^(0))and Fe^(0),*** chemical cost of S-Al^(0)@Fe^(0) for the equivalent Cr(Ⅵ)removal was 78.5%lower than that of S-Fe^(0).Negligible release of soluble aluminum during the Cr(Ⅵ)removal was *** significant enhancement in the reactivity and capacity of S-Al^(0)@Fe^(0)was partially ascribed to the higher reactivity and electron density of the Al0core than Fe^(0).More importantly,S-Al^(0)@Fe^(0) served as an electric cell to harness the persistent and selective electron transfer from the Al^(0)-Fe^(0) core to Cr(Ⅵ)at the surface via coupling Fe^(0)-Fe^(2+)-Fe^(3+)redox cycles,resulting in a higher electron utilization ***,S-Al^(0)@Fe^(0) fabricated using recycled waste aluminum scraps can be a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly alternative to S-Fe^(0) for the enhanced removal of oxidative contaminants in industrial wastewater.

激光掩星探测大气UTLS温度和水汽的方法及仿真

以高精度和高垂直分辨率探测大气区间对流层顶—平流层底UTLS(Upper Troposphere/Lower Stratosphere,5—35 km)的温度和水汽廓线是提高大气条件变化监测水平的关键,而利用激光掩星方法同时探测温度和水汽则是对现有探测技术的重要补充。本文研究了激光掩星协同探测和反演温度和水汽分子数密度的方法,其中重点研究了双吸收波长近红外激光反演温度的方法,具体为从近红外波段氧气吸收光谱中,选择2个不同跃迁能级对应的特征吸收峰,在每个吸收峰附近各选出1个吸收线,利用2个吸收线对应的双吸收波长激光以及参考线对应波长激光进行掩星探测,进而由探测数据反演出温度。整个温度和水汽协同反演步骤是先反演温度廓线,然后由温度廓线以及5 km参考高度处的压强先验值计算得到压强廓线,最后在温度和压强廓线基础上,结合水汽单吸收波长和参考波长激光掩星数据,反演得到水汽分子数密度廓线。此外,本文对探测和反演过程进行了模拟仿真,通过在近红外波段选择合适的氧气吸收波长和水汽吸收波长,模拟得到掩星透过率数据,以此反演得到温度和水汽分子数密度廓线。并通过对整个过程的分析,明确了反演过程中的误差项及其传递关系,结合数值仿真结果,说明了各个误差项的影响大小。结果显示,在UTLS区间内,温度反演误差总体小于1.05 K,水汽分子数密度反演误差总体小于4%,该误差范围说明了温度和水汽协同反演方法的可行性。
