Auxin is unique among plant hormones in that its function requires polarized transport across plant cells.A chemiosmotic model was proposed to explain how polar auxin transport is derived by the H^(+)gradient across the plasma membrane(PM)established by PM H^(+)-adenosine triphosphatases(ATPases).However,a classical genetic approach by mutations in PM H^(+)-ATPase members did not result in the ablation of polar auxin distribution,possibly due to functional redundancy in this gene family.To confirm the crucial role of PM H^(+)-ATPases in the polar auxin transport model,we employed a chemical genetic approach.Through a chemical screen,we identified protonstatin-1(PS-1),a selective small-molecule inhibitor of PM H^(+)-ATPase activity that inhibits auxin transport.Assays with transgenic plants and yeast strains showed that the activity of PM H^(+)-ATPases affects auxin uptake as well as acropetal and basipetal polar auxin transport.We propose that PS-1 can be used as a tool to interrogate the function of PM H^(+)-ATPases.Our results support the chemiosmotic model in which PM H^(+)-ATPase itself plays a fundamental role in polar auxin transport.

背景与目的成熟T细胞和自然杀伤细胞(natural killer,NK)淋巴瘤为非霍奇金淋巴瘤中的一类异质性肿瘤,其中结外鼻型NK/T细胞淋巴瘤(extranodal NK/T?cell lymphoma,nasal type,ENKTL)为一个侵袭性的亚型,伴有散发性CD30表达。但是CD30表达在ENKTL中的意义仍存有争议。本研究的目的是根据2016年世界卫生组织(World Health Organization,WHO)的分类指南,对大样本成熟T细胞和NK细胞淋巴瘤患者进行分类,并研究CD30表达与ENKTL患者预后之间的关系。方法我们选择了2009年9月1日到2013年8月31日之间,来我中心治疗的所有成熟T细胞和NK细胞淋巴瘤的患者。根据WHO 2016年淋巴瘤分类指南进行了分类,分析了CD30表达与ENKTL患者临床病理因素的相关性,并评价了CD30表达对ENKTL患者预后的影响。结果我们共鉴定了622例成熟T细胞和NK细胞淋巴瘤的患者,其中317例(51.0%)为ENKTL患者。我们在其中的91例ENKTL患者标本中检测了CD30的表达,其中43例(47.3%)表达阳性。在这91例ENKTL患者中,CD30表达与临床病理因素无相关性,CD30表达阳性对患者预后无影响。结论在本中心确诊的成熟T细胞和NK细胞淋巴瘤中,ENKTL是最常见的一个亚型。CD30在ENKTL中高频表达,可作为一个治疗靶点;然而它可能不是ENKTL的预后标志物。

Background:Mature T-cell and natural killer(NK)-cell lymphomas compose a heterogeneous group of non-Hodgkin lymphomas,and extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma,nasal type(ENKTL) is an aggressive subtype with sporadic CD30 expression.However,the significance of CD30 expression in ENKTL is controversial.We aimed to classify a large cohort of patients with mature T-cell and NK-cell lymphomas according to the 2016 World Health Organization(WHO) classification guidelines and to study the association between CD30 expression and prognosis of patients with ENKTL.Methods:We selected consecutive patients with mature T-cell and NK-cell lymphomas who attended our institution between September 1,2009 and August 31,2013.We classified the lymphomas according to the 2016 revision of the WHO classification of lymphoid neoplasms,analyzed the associations between CD30 expression and clinicopathologic features of ENKTL patients,and evaluated the prognostic implications of CD30 expression.Results:We identified 622 consecutive patients with mature T-cell and NK-cell lymphomas,including 317(51.0%)patients with ENKTL.In addition,CD30 expression was detected in 43(47.3%) of a subset of 91 patients with ENKTL.No clinicopathologic features were associated with CD30 expression,and CD30 positivity showed no prognostic significance in patients with ENKTL.Conclusions:ENKTL is the most common type of mature T-cell and NK-cell lymphoma diagnosed at our institution.CD30 is frequently expressed in ENKTL and represents a therapeutic target;however,it may not be a prognostic marker.

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene have attracted great attention since decades ago because of their interesting structure and properties and important application in many areas. They can have high conductivity, high specific surface area, high transparency in the visible range and high mechanical flexibility. They have important application in energy conversion systems including solar cells and fuel cells. They have been extensively studied as the transparent electrode and interfacial materials of organic solar cells (OSCs) and perovskite solar cells (PSCs). They are also used as the catalytic counter electrode of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). In addition, graphene oxide (GO) is exploited as an auxiliary binder of TiO2 paste for the mesoporous TiO2 layer of DSSCs, and GO and functionalized CNTs are adopted as gelators of gel electrolyte for quasi-solid state DSSCs. CNTs and graphene also have important application in fuel cells. They can be used as catalyst support for the oxidation of fuels or oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). CNTs and graphene, particularly when doped with nitrogen, can be directly used metal-free catalysts. This article provides a brief review on the application of CNTs and graphene in OSCs, PSCs, DSSCs and fuel cells.

This paper addresses the problem of distributed secure state estimation for multi-agent systems under homologous sensor attacks.Two types of secure Luenberger-like distributed observers are proposed to estimate the system state and attack signal simultaneously.Specifically,the proposed two observers are applicable to deal with the cases in the presence and absence of time delays during network communication.It is also shown that the proposed observers can ensure the attack estimations from different agents asymptotically converge to the same value.Sufficient conditions for guaranteeing the asymptotic convergence of the estimation errors are derived.Simulation examples are finally provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.

We present a statistical study of“trunk-like”structures observed in He+and O+in the inner magnetosphere.The main characteristic of these structures is that the energy of the peak flux decreases earthward.Using observations from the Helium Oxygen Proton Electron(HOPE)instrument onboard Van Allen Probe A,we identify the trunks observed from November 2012 to June 2019 and obtain the universal time,L shell,magnetic local time(MLT),and energy information of each trunk’s root and tip.We then investigate the behavior of trunks in terms of their frequency of occurrence,temporal evolution,spatial and energy distribution,and trunk dependence on different geomagnetic indices.We find that(1)the trunks are always located at L=1.5−4.0 and have a preferential location mainly concentrated at MLT=18−24,(2)the sector within MLT=14−16 is a forbidden zone without trunk roots,and(3)the energy of He+ trunks is the largest near dusk and gradually decreases in the counterclockwise direction,whereas the energy of O+ trunks is relatively evenly distributed with MLT and L.The differences between He+ and O+ trunks are probably due to the different charge exchange and Coulomb collision lifetime.The dependence on different geomagnetic indices indicates that the trunk structures occur more frequently during relatively quiet periods.

为揭示黄河下游冲积地层高压旋喷锚索的拉拔特性,基于济南起步区黄河大道地下快速路基坑工程,选取了两组共8根高压旋喷锚索进行拉拔试验,并利用ABAQUS进行单根高压旋喷锚索拉拔精细化有限元计算。通过现场试验与数值计算结果对比,分析了高压旋喷锚索侧摩阻力和端阻力承载机制,研究了极限抗拔承载力的计算方法。结果表明:随加载荷载增大,高压旋喷锚索锚固段从全长弹性到局部塑性再到局部破坏后达到极限承载力,侧摩阻力峰值由端部向后不断传递,锚固体前段4m的侧摩阻力约占总侧摩阻力的86.9%,锚固段长度可进一步优化;加载期间,高压旋喷锚索端阻力持续增大,达到极限破坏时端阻力承担的荷载约占总荷载的30%,使得其位移增量变化较稳定。考虑端阻力提高效应及施工工艺因素,提出了黄河下游冲积地层高压旋喷锚索极限抗拔力承载力计算公式,通过与其他不同计算方法的对比分析,验证了该计算公式的合理性。
