Large-scale carambola-like V_(2)O_(5) nanoflowers arrays on microporous reed carbon as improved electrochemical performances lithium-ion batteries cathode

To search for new cathode materials with high energy density of Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) is one of the most challenging issues. Vanadium pentoxide(V2 O5) with high theoretical specific capacity is believed to be a promising candidate for the next generation cathode materials, yet still suffers from low lithium ion diffusion coefficient and poor electronic conductivity resulting in low cycling life and poor rate performances. Here, we report new large-scale carambola-like V2 O5 nanoflowers arrays anchored on microporous reed carbon as high performances LIBs cathode. Each individual pore space of the microporous reed carbon is like a hexagonal cylinder, and the area of each carbon wall is more than103 um2, which is favorable for the growth of V2 O5 nanostructure arrays. After hydrothermal, the largescale carambola-like V2 O5 nanoflowers arrays can directly grow on the surface of microporous *** to the novel composite structures, the V2 O5 nanoflowers arrays@microporous carbon stabilizes at273 mA h g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 0.2 C. When cycling at 1.0 C over 500 cycles, the capacity still maintains at 180 mAh g^(-1). The demonstrated approach in this work paves the way for the development of high rate capability and excellent cycling stability V2 O5-based cathode materials.

Periodic oscillation of quantum diffusion in coupled one-dimensional systems

We analytically show that quantum diffusion in the coupled system composed of two identical chains exhibits a well-defined periodic oscillation in both transverse and longitudinal directions with a frequency determined by the interchain hopping strength, no matter whether the chains are periodic or non-periodic. We illustrate the result through numerical work on the coupled periodic chains and the quasiperiodic Aubry-Andre-Harper(AAH) chains with various modulations of onsite potentials supporting extended, critical, and localized states. We further numerically show that quantum diffusion in the coupled chains of different degrees of disorder W exhibits an exponential decay oscillation similar to the behavior of an underdamped harmonic oscillator, with a decay time inversely proportional to the square of W and a slight frequency change proportional to the square of W. Moreover, quantum diffusions in the coupled systems composed of two different chains are numerically studied, including periodic/disordered chains, periodic/AAH chains, and two different AAH chains, which exhibit the same behavior of underdamped periodic oscillation if the onsite potential difference between two chains is smaller than the interchain hoping *** of this universal periodic oscillation is a result of spectral splitting of the iso-spectra of two chains determined by interchain hopping, independent of system size, boundary condition, and intrachain onsite potentials. Because the oscillation frequency and spreading distance of wavepacket can be tuned separately by interchain hopping and intrachain potentials, the periodic oscillation of quantum diffusion in coupled chains is expected to find applications in control of quantum states and in designing nanoscale quantum devices.

Hydrothermal exfoliated molybdenum disulfide nanosheets as anode material for lithium ion batteries

Ultrathin MoS2 nanosheets were prepared in high yield using a facile and effective hydrothermal intercalation and exfoliation route. The products were characterized in detail using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy. The results show that the high yield of MoS2 nanosheets with good quality was successfully achieved and the dimensions of the immense nanosheets reached 1 μm-2/zm. As anode material for Li-ion batteries, the as-prepared MoS2 nanosheets electrodes exhibited a good initial capacity of 1190 mAh.g-l and excellent cyclic stability at constant current density of 50 mA.g-1. After 50 cycles, it still delivered reversibly sustained high capacities of 750 mAh.g-1.

慢性痛与焦虑、抑郁等情绪障碍相互作用形成恶性循环。目前药物治疗慢性痛及情绪障碍效果不佳,且常伴有成瘾、大脑发育改变等副作用。近年来,针对慢性痛和情绪障碍的非药物治疗手段越来越受到关注,其中有氧运动能明显减轻慢性痛感觉,改善焦虑、抑郁等负性情绪,但是有氧运动如何减缓慢性痛及其情绪障碍共病的潜在神经分子机制尚不明确。有氧运动是以有氧代谢提供能量的运动,大量临床和实验研究表明有氧运动条件下神经营养因子、炎性细胞因子、神经递质、内源性阿片肽等分子可能参与缓解慢性痛及及负性情绪的发生和发展,本文综述了有氧运动治疗慢性痛及其情绪障碍共病潜在神经分子机制的研究进展。

Carbon matrix/SiNWs heterogeneous block as improved reversible anodes material for lithium ion batteries

A novel carbon matrix/silicon nanowires(SiNWs) heterogeneous block was successfully produced by dispersing SiNWs into templated carbon matrix via a modified evaporation induced self-assembly method. The heterogeneous block was determined by X-ray diffraction, Raman spectra and scanning electron microscopy. As an anode material for lithium batteries, the block was investigated by cyclic voltammograms(CV), charge/discharge tests, galvanostatic cycling performance and A. C. impedance spectroscopy. We show that the SiNWs disperse into the framework, and are nicely wrapped by the carbon matrix. The heterogeneous block exhibits superior electrochemical reversibility with a high specific capacity of 529.3 mAh/g in comparison with bare SiNWs anode with merely about 52.6 mAh/g capacity retention. The block presents excellent cycle stability and capacity retention which can be attributed to the improvement of conductivity by the existence of carbon matrix and the enhancement of ability to relieve the large volume expansion of SiNWs during the lithium insertion/extraction cycle. The results indicate that the as-prepared carbon matrix/SiNWs heterogeneous block can be an attractive and potential anode material for lithium-ion battery applications.

Robust transport of charge carriers in in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe_(2) homojunctions with ohmic contact

Metal-semiconductor ohmic contacts are required to reduce the energy dissipation for two-dimensional (2D) electronic devices, and phase engineering of 2D transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) is a promising approach for building ohmic contacts. Here, 2D in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunctions were prepared by direct epitaxy via vapor deposition. The interface properties of in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunction were investigated in detail by combining experiments, calculations and theories. The ohmic contact properties of 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunction were proved according to Kelvin force probe microscopy and density functional theory calculations. The charge carriers robust transport in in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunction without Fermi-level pinning can be well described by Poisson equation and band alignment. These results indicate that phase engineering of 2D TMDCs is promising to construct ohmic contacts for device applications.

Crystallization process determines the quality of perovskite films and the performances of resultant perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Dimethylamine oxalate has been proven as a multifunctional modulator,and is explored as an efficient additive in manipulating the crystallization process of CsPbI_(3) perovskite *** one hand,oxalate serves as the precipitator that facilitates the nucleation process of *** larger size of intermediate is conductive to the larger size and smaller grain boundaries of resultant *** the other hand,in subsequent annealing process,the phase conversion and growth process of transient perovskite can be decelerated due to the strong interactions of oxalate with both dimethylamine cation(DMA^(+))and Pb^(2+).Due to the optimized crystallization kinetics,the morphology and quality of CsPbI_(3) perovskite films are comprehensively improved with lower defect concentrations,and charge recombination loss is effectively *** from the optimized crystal quality of perovskite films,the carbon electrode-based CsPbI_(3) PSCs exhibit a champion efficiency of 18.48%.This represents one of the highest levels among all hole transport layer-free inorganic perovskite solar cells.

Effects of MIF on proliferation,migration,and STAT1 pathway of colon cancer cells

Objective This study aimed to investigate how macrophage migration inhibitory factor(MIF)regulates the interaction of signal transducer and activator of transcription 1(STAT1)with CD74,and affects colon cancer proliferation and *** After transfecting MIF small interfering RNA into the SW480 cell line,the expression of STAT1 and CD74 mRNA was detected by qRT-PCR and western *** and MTT assays were performed to detect the colon cancer cell invasion and proliferation ***-immunoprecipitation was used to detect the interaction between CD74 and STAT1 proteins in the treated and control *** The cellular biological assays(MTT and Transwell)showed that the proliferation and invasion ability of colon cancer cells decreased after MIF knockdown;the results showed significant statistical difference(P<0.05).The results of the co-immunoprecipitation assay suggested that MIF knockdown in colon cancer cells could inhibit the binding of CD74 and STAT1 proteins;statistical difference was observed between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion MIF can increase the proliferation and invasion of colon cancer cells by promoting the combination of CD74 and STAT1.
