Ethical concerns in aging research:perspectives of global frontline researchers

This study investigated the ethical landscape of aging research amid the increasing global focus on extending the human lifespan and health span. Our global survey of 180 researchers across 38 jurisdictions revealed divergent perceptions of aging, a consensus regarding the feasibility of delaying aging, and multiple perspectives regarding lifespan extension. The present findings underscore a paradigm shift toward inclusive and ethically sound research, emphasizing the need for an approach that strikes a balance between basic and clinical research. In addition, this study highlighted key ethical concerns in aging research, including the effects of misleading advertising, potential inequality in access to aging interventions, and risks pertaining to the extrapolation of research findings from lower-model organisms to humans. The insights presented in this paper call for an integrated approach for overcoming the complex ethical and societal challenges in aging research to ensure responsible and equitable advancements in this burgeoning field.

原位储层生物地球化学评价及其对煤层气开采的指示意义——以沁水盆地南部柿庄南区块为例

煤储层是微生物生存代谢的良好场所,其中与碳循环相关的微生物群落普遍存在,但微生物的地理分布与代谢表达尚未与储层建立有效联系。通过微生物代谢难以在自然条件形成有效气藏,但微生物群落受有机物供给、环境条件等影响,对储层原位环境与煤层气保存条件形成良好响应。沁水盆地南部煤层气资源丰富,是我国最早实现煤层气商业开发的区域之一。以沁水盆地南部柿庄南区块为例,通过研究区储层水的生物地球化学特征与生物基因测序,分析离子质量浓度、溶解无机碳同位素、硫酸盐同位素和微生物丰度与多样性,以产甲烷菌、硫酸盐还原菌等微生物为依据评价储层环境条件。研究表明,储层地球化学受水岩作用、离子交换和微生物代谢等因素影响。较高的钠离子和碳酸氢根离子质量浓度说明储层为相对还原环境或滞留条件。硫酸盐还原菌和产甲烷菌在降解煤过程中发挥协同作用,但硫酸盐还原菌在硫酸盐满足代谢需求时与产甲烷菌竞争可用底物占优而抑制产甲烷菌代谢。硫酸盐同位素、溶解无机碳同位素以及微生物丰度和多样性等可表征上述微生物间的共生关系与储层环境条件。硫酸盐还原作用活跃而产甲烷作用不明显的区域不具备有效保存煤层气的条件。相对还原或滞留的储层环境适宜产甲烷菌代谢,也是煤层气保存的有利区。研究认识丰富了储层生物地球化学评价方法,指导了煤层气勘探开发有利区优选,为我国煤层气生物工程的现场实施提供理论基础与方案指导。

Upper and lower Bounds of the α-Universal Triple I Method for Unified Interval Implications

Theα-universal triple I(α-UTI)method is a recognized scheme in the field of fuzzy reasoning,whichwas proposed by our research group *** robustness of fuzzy reasoning determines the quality of reasoning algorithms to a large extent,which is quantified by calculating the disparity between the output of fuzzy reasoning with interference and the output without ***,in this study,the interval robustness(embodied as the interval stability)of theα-UTI method is explored in the interval-valued fuzzy *** begin with,the stability of theα-UTI method is explored for the case of an individual rule,and the upper and lower bounds of its results are estimated,using four kinds of unified interval implications(including the R-interval implication,the S-interval implication,the Ql-interval implication and the interval t-norm implication).Through analysis,it is found that theα-UTI method exhibits good interval stability for an individual ***,the stability of theα-UTI method is revealed in the case of multiple rules,and the upper and lower bounds of its outcomes are *** results show that theα-UTI method is stable for multiple rules when four kinds of unified interval implications are used,***,theα-UTI reasoning chain method is presented,which contains a chain structure with multiple *** corresponding solutions and their interval perturbations are *** is found that theα-UTI reasoning chain method is stable in the case of chain *** application examples in affective computing are given to verify the stability of theα-*** summary,through theoretical proof and example verification,it is found that theα-UTImethod has good interval robustness with four kinds of unified interval implications aiming at the situations of an individual rule,multi-rule and reasoning chain.

A two-grid finite element method with l1 scheme is presented for solving two-dimen-sional time-fractional nonlinear Schrodinger *** finite element solution in the l-norm are proved bounded without any time-step size conditions(dependent on spatial-step size).The classical l1 scheme is considered in the time direction,and the two-grid finite element method is applied in spatial *** optimal order error estimations of the two-grid solution in the lP-norm is proved without any time-step size *** is shown,both theoretically and numerically,that the coarse space can be extremely coarse,with no loss in the order of accuracy.

Machine learning Security Defense Algorithms Based on Metadata Correlation Features

With the popularization of the Internet and the development of technology,cyber threats are increasing day by *** such as malware,hacking,and data breaches have had a serious impact on *** network security environment in the era of big data presents the characteristics of large amounts of data,high diversity,and high real-time *** security defense methods and tools have been unable to cope with the complex and changing network security *** paper proposes a machine-learning security defense algorithm based on metadata association *** control over unauthorized users through privacy,integrity,and *** user model is established and the mapping between the user model and the metadata of the data source is *** analyzing the user model and its corresponding mapping relationship,the query of the user model can be decomposed into the query of various heterogeneous data sources,and the integration of heterogeneous data sources based on the metadata association characteristics can be *** and classify customer information,automatically identify and perceive sensitive data,build a behavior audit and analysis platform,analyze user behavior trajectories,and complete the construction of a machine learning customer information security defense *** experimental results show that when the data volume is 5×103 bit,the data storage integrity of the proposed method is 92%.The data accuracy is 98%,and the success rate of data intrusion is only 2.6%.It can be concluded that the data storage method in this paper is safe,the data accuracy is always at a high level,and the data disaster recovery performance is *** method can effectively resist data intrusion and has high air traffic control *** can not only detect all viruses in user data storage,but also realize integrated virus processing,and further optimize the security defense effect of user big data.

Multi‐object tracking in autonomous driving is a non‐linear *** better address the tracking problem,this paper leveraged an unscented Kalman filter to predict the object's *** the association stage,the Mahalanobis distance was employed as an affinity metric,and a Non‐minimum Suppression method was designed for *** the detections fed into the tracker and continuous‘predicting‐matching’steps,the states of each object at different time steps were described as their own continuous *** conducted extensive experiments to evaluate tracking accuracy on three challenging datasets(KITTI,nuScenes and Waymo).The experimental results demon-strated that our method effectively achieved multi‐object tracking with satisfactory ac-curacy and real‐time efficiency.

Strategy for suppressing abnormal grain growth of ZK60 Mg alloy during solution by pre-compression:A quasi-in-situ study

Abnormal grain growth(AGG)easily takes place in Mg alloys during high-temperature solutions,result-ing in deterioration of mechanical ***,the compression prior to solution(pre-compression)was conducted to suppress AGG,and the microstructure evolution as well as suppressing mechanisms was investigated based on quasi-in-situ *** compression along the transverse direction,//ED grains preferentially nucleated and rapidly grew up,and the initial//ED texture was *** grain growth modes of heat-induced and strain-induced grain boundary migrations were *** former was attributed to the high interfacial energy of grain boundaries with large *** latter consumed the adjacent grains with high storage energy,forming abnormal grains with irregular *** compression with a reduction>6%could obviously suppress *** suppressing effects were mainly attributed to weakening the size advantage of//ED grains,increasing nucleation,reducing grain boundary character distribution,and redistributing storage energy *** 12%compression along the transverse direction,30°misorientation of//ED grains and high energy grain boundaries were ***{10-12}tensile twins and{10-15}high index twins induced by com-pression increased the nucleation of static ***,compression introduces high-density dislocations,which also contributed to suppressing AGG behavior during solution.

Adaptive 5G-and-beyond network-enabled interpretable federated learning enhanced by neuroevolution

Mobile telemedicine systems based on the next-generation communication will significantly enhance deep fusion of network automation and federated learning(Fl), but data privacy is a paramount issue in sectors like healthcare. This work hence considers Fl augments 5G-and-beyond networks by training deep learning(Dl) models without the need to exchange raw data. The substantial communication loads imposed on by extensive parameters involved in Dl models are managed through adaptive scheduling mechanisms effectively. To address the opaque nature of Dl models and to improve the interpretability of Fl models, we introduce a convolutional fuzzy rough neural network specifically designed for medical image processing. We also develop a multiobjective memetic evolutionary algorithm to streamline and optimize the neural network architectures. Our comprehensive Fl framework integrates smart scheduling, interpretable fuzzy rough logic,and neuroevolution. This framework is shown to improve communication efficiency, increase interpretability of diagnosis with protected privacy, and generate low-complexity neural architectures.

The spread of infectious diseases often presents the emergent properties,which leads to more dificulties in prevention and *** this paper,the SIR model with both delay and network is investigated to show the emergent properties of the infectious diseases'*** stability of the SIR model with a delay and two delay is analyzed to illustrate the effect of delay on the periodic outbreak of the *** the stability conditions of Hopf bifurcation are derived by using central manifold to obtain the direction of bifurcation,which is vital for the generation of emergent ***,numerical simulation shows that the connection probability can affect the types of the spatio-temporal patterns,further induces the emergent ***,the emergent properties of COVID-19 are explained by the above results.
