Trajectory optimisation in electrical discharge machining of three-dimensional curved and twisted channels

Numerical control electrical discharge machining(NC EDM) is one of the most widely used machining technologies for manufacturing a closed blisk flow path, particularly for three-dimensional(3D) curved and twisted flow channels. In this process, tool electrode design and machining trajectory planning are the key factors affecting machining accessibility and efficiency. Herein, to reduce the difficulty in designing the electrode and its motion path in the closed curved and twisted channels, a heuristic search hybrid optimisation strategy based on channel grids is adopted to realise the initial electrode trajectory design search and optimised size reduction. By transferring the trajectory optimisation constraints from the complex free-form surface to numbered grids, the search is found to be more orderly and accurate. The two trajectory indicators, namely argument angle and minimum distance, are analysed separately for the optimised results of the adaptive learning particle swarm optimisation algorithm, demonstrating that they can meet the actual processing *** results of NC EDM indicate that the motion path generated by this design method can meet the machining requirements of 3D curved and twisted flow channels.

Flow field design and process stability in electrochemical machining of diamond holes

The metal grille, commonly composed of an amount of diamond holes, has been growingly used as a key structure on stealth aircraft. Electrochemical machining(ECM) promises to be increasingly applied in aircraft manufacturing on the condition that process stability is *** this work, a flow field model was designed to improve the process stability. This model is endowed with a variety of flow channel features, together with vibrating feeding modes. The flow field distribution on the bottom surface of the diamond hole was discussed and evaluated as *** numerical results show that a short arc flow channel could significantly enhance the uniformity of electrolyte velocity distribution and a vibrating feeding of the cathode enables to reduce both fluctuations of the electrolyte velocity and pressure on the bottom surface of the diamond ***, the flow field mutations were eliminated. It is verified from the experimental results that a short arc flow channel, when combined with vibrating feeding, is capable of improving machining localization and process stability markedly. What is more, the side gap on the bottom surface of the diamond hole could also be reduced by the abovementioned approach.

Effect of DC electric field on moisture migration characteristics in oil-pressboard

The moisture content has a great influence on the electric insulation strength of ***,it is very important to assess the moisture content in power *** is lack of research about the effect of DC electric field on moisture ***,the authors analyse the moisture migration characteristics of oil-press-board under DC electric *** DC electric field has a greater influence on the moisture content in the *** with no DC electric field,the moisture content in oil is reduced by 22.91 mg/L at 50℃,while it is reduced by 17.63 mg/L at 70℃.Under the same moisture content in the oil,the moisture content in the pressboard which affected by the DC electric field is higher than the Oommen curve,the maximum dif-ference is 0.88%at 50℃,and 0.05%at 70℃.This result can provide a reference for the revision of existing moisture assessment methods.

A green colonial microalgae Botryococcus braunii was hydrothermally processed under subcritical water conditions without the addition of catalysts,obtaining an oil yield as high as 68%.The higher heating value of liquefaction products is close to that of petroleum crude *** oil fraction from Botryococcus braunii liquefaction was specified for the first time,and the liquefaction mechanism was *** to the high lipid content of Botryococcus braunii,the liquefaction product distribution is quite distinct from other *** produced biocrudes contain9%oxygen,with oleic acid as the main *** derived from oleic acid and proteins are the major nitrogenates in the *** biocrude was processed using catalytic cracking and *** cracking mostly produces aromatics,while the majority of hydrotreating products are straight and branched *** oxygen content in the catalytic cracking products was very *** presence of amides in the hydrotreating feed changes the reaction pathway from hydrodecarboxylation to hydrodeoxygenation as a result of the competitive adsorption of amides on the active sites for *** processes show satisfactory denitrogenation *** cracking displays superior ability than hydrotreating with regards to the removal of oxygen.

Shaanxi, 710127 Three kinds of ionic liquid modified heteropolyacids, with one N atom, two N atoms and cyclic N type of quaternary ammonium salts, were synthesized successfully（S-POM, D-POM and C-POM）. And the relative heterogeneous catalysts system for oxidative desulfurization was obtained from simple one-pot hydrothermal reaction and modified heteropolyacids in the pores of MCM-41 after the MOF-199 template self-assembly（S/D/C-POM@MOF@MCM-41, abbreviated as S/D/C-PMM）. These as-designed samples were characterized via XRD, XPS, TEM, BET analysis and so on. Results showed that the C-PMM carried out excellent performance for oxidesulfurization, under optimal conditions, the rate of DBT removal could up to 100% in 90 min and the catalyst was reused more than ten times with nearly no significant reduction on catalytic activity. The kinetic studies reveal that oxidative desulfurization presents a pseudo first-order kinetic process and the apparent activation energy is 26.1 kJ/mol.

As a typical flexible polypodal ligand,1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine hexaacetic acid(H TTHA)contains six nitrogen atoms and six carboxyl groups,which can display versatile conformations and coordination *** hydrothermal conditions,with pH-controlled,the uranyl coordination polymer[(UO)(H O) Na(TTHA)(HTTHA)]·H O has been obtained by the reaction of H TTHA and uranyl zinc acetate ***-crystal analysis reveals that the complex crystallizes in the triclinic,space group P 1 and the asymmetric unit comprises four uranyl centers,one sodium center and two molecules *** oxygen atoms are around U1,U2,U3 and U4,which show all the pentagonal bipyramid *** coordinated six oxygen atoms and connected U3 through uranyl oxygen *** connecting emerged an unusual U=0-Na interaction.U1 and U2 are connected by the bridging carboxyl groups.U3,U4 and Na are connected through vertex-sharing and *** heterometallic complex provides the theoretical basis for the activation of the uranyl oxygen atoms with the interaction of U=O-Na.

Surfactant-type heteropolyacid(SRL-POM) was successfully synthesized and immobilized in the dual-function porous materials,MOF-199 and *** and properties of catalyst were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),N adsorption-desorption,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and so *** results indicated that the porous materials retained after the introduction of SRL-POM and for this reason the conversion of DBT reached up to 100%under the optimal conditions and shown a better reusability using the as-prepared catalyst and oxygen as the *** kinetic studies reveal that the oxidative desulfurization can present a pseudo firstorder kinetic process and the apparent activation energy is 23.7 kJ/mol.

Flexible triazine ligands[1]containing N are widely applied in the synthesis of MOFs because of their ease of synthesis and rich functional groups,there is not much literature on the synthesis of uranyl complexes(UOF)with triazine derivatives ligands and uranyl salts[2].Based on that,a new highly stable3 D luminescent uranyl-organic framework[UO(L)·DMA](1) under solvothermal reaction was constructed for the first time by using a flexible glycine-derivative ligand 4,6-bis(carboxymethyl-amino)-2-oxo-1,3,5-triazine(H L)featuring two carboxylate *** was found that complex 1 showed satisfied luminescent properties,particularly the efficient selectivity and sensitivity for metal ion Ru and biomolecules DA,AA,UA and *** complex 1 can act as an candidate materials to targetedly detect cation(Ru) and biomolecules(DA,AA,UA and BSA).It is noted that the framework structure of complex 1 still remains highly stable after quenching verified by powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD).

In order to reduce the environmental pollution,such as haze and acid rain,it is necessary to develop environmental friendly-catalyst for deep desulfurization of *** this paper,a series of vanadium substituted Dawson-type polyoxometalates[H(P MoVO)]were synthesized and loaded on carbon nanotubes(CNTs).The catalysts(MoV/CNTs) were characterized by techniques including the Fourier transform infrared,X-ray diffraction,N adsorption-desorption,Xray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron *** desulfurization performances of MoV/CNTs were tested,and the effect of different conditions on desulfurization was *** results show that temperature,oxygen flow volume and catalyst quality had prominent influence of desulfurization,and the sulfur removal rate for model oil was reached 92.84%by MoV/*** addition,the catalysts exhibit an excellent reusability.

A catalyst POM@MOF-199@ZSM-5-MCM-41(PMZM) for oxidative desulfurization was prepared which heteropolyacids were supported on micro/mesoporous materials ZSM-5-MCM-41 by one-pot method. Five kinds of molecular sieves were prepared and one of the most excellent molecular sieves was selected to immobilize heteropolyacids. The catalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR), Ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy(UV-Vis), N adsorption-desorption, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The removal of DBT reached 98.1% by using POM@MOF-199@ZSM-5-MCM-41 with O as oxidant in oxidative desulfurization. After desulfurization, the catalyst can be simply recovered by filtration and reused 7 times with an unnoticeable decrease in catalytic activity.
