Mapping cropping patterns in the North China Plain over the past 300 years and an analysis of the drivers of change

It is essential to map the cropping patterns when investigating the mechanisms and impacts of climate ***,the long-term evolution of cropping patterns remains poorly *** study collected hundreds of records of cropping intensity and crop combinations from local gazetteers and other relevant articles for the North China Plain(NCP)over the past 300 ***,we analyzed the evolutionary characteristics and drivers in terms of climate change and advances in agricultural *** the Qing Dynasty to the 1950s,one harvest per year(1H1Y)was the dominant pattern in the northern NCP,and three harvests in two years(3H2Y)was the dominant pattern in Henan and Shandong *** 1H1Y crops were cereals and *** 3H2Y crop combinations were spring maize,winter wheat,and *** the 1960s and 1970s,the cropping intensity in much of the NCP was two harvests per year(2H1Y)or a mix of the 2H1Y and 3H2Y *** the 1980s,the cropping intensity in the NCP was dominated by *** the 1960s,the 2H1Y crop compositions have been winter wheat-summer maize in Shandong,Henan,and Hebei provinces,while winter wheat-rice dominated north of the Huaihe *** 3H2Y summer crop changed from beans to maize/cereals over *** warming was not the dominant factor driving the evolution of cropping intensity in the *** in agricultural production conditions and reforms in production relations have promoted the rapid development of multiple cropping since the 1950s.

DeepPurpose-based drug discovery in chondrosarcoma

Background:Chondrosarcoma(CS)is the second most common primary bone tumor,accounting for approximately30%of all malignant bone ***,the efficacy of currently available drug therapies is ***,this study aimed to explore drug therapies for CS using novel computational ***:In this study,text mining,Gene Codis STRING,and Cytoscape were used to identify genes closely related to CS,and the Drug Gene Interaction Database(DGIdb)was used to select drugs targeting the ***-target interaction prediction was performed using Deep Purpose,to finally obtain candidate drugs with the highest predicted binding ***:Text-mining searches identified 168 genes related to *** enrichment and protein-protein interaction analysis generated 14 genes representing 10 pathways using Gene Codis,STRING,and *** drugs targeting genes closely related to CS were analyzed using *** Purpose recommended 25 drugs,including integrin beta 3 inhibitors,hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha inhibitors,E1A binding protein P300 inhibitors,vascular endothelial growth factor A inhibitors,AKT1 inhibitors,tumor necrosis factor inhibitors,transforming growth factor beta 1 inhibitors,interleukin 6 inhibitors,mitogen-activated protein kinase 1 inhibitors,and protein tyrosine kinase ***:Drug discovery using in silico text mining and Deep Purpose may be an effective method to explore drugs targeting genes related to CS.

DESIGN OF liGHTWEIGHT PUF CIRCUIT BASED ON SELECTABLE CROSS-COUPLED INVERTERS

By analyzing the principle of process variations, a lightweight Physical Unclonable Function （PUF） circuit based on selectable cross-coupled inverters is proposed in this paper. Firstly, selectable cross-coupled inverters are chosen for two delay paths. Simultaneously, the circuit takes challenge signal to control each delay path. The PUF cell circuit is implemented in Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation （SMIC） 65 nm CMOS technology and the layout area is 2.94μm × 1.68μm. Then the 64-bit PUF circuit is achieved with the cascade connection of cell circuits. The simulation results show that the randomness is 49.4% and the reliability is 96.5%. Compared to the other works, this PUF circuit improves the encrypt performance and greatly reduces the area.

目的:采用沿血管周围间隙扩散张量成像分析(DTI-ALPS)探讨内侧颞叶癫痫伴海马硬化(mTLE-HS)患者与健康人间、不同发作类型间的脑内类淋巴系统(GS)功能差异,并分析患者GS功能与病程的相关性及预测手术疗效的效能。方法:该研究为横断面研究。回顾性连续纳入2009年7月至2021年7月于南京大学医学院附属金陵医院就诊的171例mTLE-HS患者(mTLE-HS组)及75名健康志愿者(对照组)。分析所有受试者的一般资料,如发作类型(部分性发作、继发全面性发作)、预后等,并采集三维磁化准备快速梯度回波序列T_(1)WI及DTI图像。使用VBM分析方法对脑脊液进行分割并进行体积计算,使用基于Atlas的DTI-ALPS方法进行双侧大脑ALPS指数计算。采用独立样本t检验或配对t检验比较mTLE-HS组与对照组、不同发作类型患者间ALPS指数的差异,采用Pearson相关分析mTLE-HS组双侧ALPS指数与病程的相关性;采用受试者操作特征曲线和曲线下面积评估ALPS指数对手术疗效的预测价值。结果:171例mTLE-HS患者中mTLE伴左侧HS 98例,mTLE伴右侧HS 73例;37例接受手术治疗,其中预后好27例、预后差10例。mTLE伴左侧HS、mTLE伴右侧HS的左侧ALPS指数较对照组左侧ALPS指数降低(P0.05)。mTLE伴左侧HS的左侧ALPS指数、右侧ALPS指数与病程均呈负相关(r=-0.272,P=0.007;r=-0.307,P=0.002),但mTLE伴右侧HS的左侧ALPS指数、右侧ALPS指数与病程无相关性(P>0.05)。mTLE-HS患侧DTI-ALPS指数对手术疗效具有较好的分类诊断效能,曲线下面积为0.778。结论:mTLE-HS患者存在脑内GS功能障碍,且受损程度与发作类型、癫痫病程相关。表征GS功能的ALPS指数对手术疗效具有较好的分类诊断效能。

Definite-time zero-sequence over-current protection is presently used in systems whose neutral point is grounded by a low resistance(low-resistance grounding systems).These systems frequently malfunction owing to their high settings of the action value when a high-impedance grounding fault *** this study,the relationship between the zero-sequence currents of each feeder and the neutral branch was ***,a grounding protection method was proposed on the basis of the zero-sequence current ratio *** is defined as the ratio of the zero-sequence current of the feeder to that of the neutral ***,both zero-sequence voltage and zero-sequence current are affected by the transition resistance,The influence of transition resistance can be eliminated by calculating this ***,a method based on the zero-sequence current ratio coefficient was proposed considering the significant difference between the faulty feeder and healthy ***,unbalanced current can be prevented by setting the starting *** simulation results reveal that the proposed method shows high reliability and sensitivity when a high-resistance grounding fault occurs.

Up-regulation of glycolipid transfer protein by bicyclol causes spontaneous restriction of hepatitis C virus replication

Bicyclol is a synthetic drug for hepatoprotection in clinic since 2004. Preliminary clinical observations suggest that bicyclol might be active against hepatitis C virus(HCV) with unknown mechanism. Here, we showed that bicyclol significantly inhibited HCV replication in vitro and in hepatitis C patients. Using bicyclol as a probe, we identified glycolipid transfer protein(GLTP) to be a novel restrictive factor for HCV replication. The GLTP preferentially bound host vesicle-associated membrane protein-associated protein-A(VAP-A) in competition with the HCV NS5 A, causing an interruption of the complex formation between VAP-A and HCV NS5 A. As the formation of VAP-A/NS5 A complex is essential for viral RNA replication, up-regulation of GLTP by bicyclol reduced the level of VAP-A/NS5 A complex and thus inhibited HCV replication. Bicyclol also exhibited an inhibition on HCV variants resistant to direct-acting antiviral agents(DAAs) with an efficacy identical to that on wild type HCV. In combination with bicyclol, DAAs inhibited HCV replication in a synergistic fashion. GLTP appears to be a newly discovered host restrictive factor for HCV replication, Up-regulation of GLTP causes spontaneous restriction of HCV replication.

The pandemic of SARS-CoV-2 worldwide with successive emerging variants urgently calls for small-molecule oral drugs with broad-spectrum antiviral ***,we show that carrimycin,a new macrolide antibiotic in the clinic and an antiviral candidate for SARS-CoV-2 in phase III trials,decreases the efficiency of programmed–1 ribosomal frameshifting of coronaviruses and thus impedes viral replication in a broad-spectrum *** binds directly to the coronaviral frameshift-stimulatory element(FSE)RNA pseudoknot,interrupting the viral protein translation switch from ORF1a to ORF1b and thereby reducing the level of the core components of the viral replication and transcription *** carrimycin with known viral replicase inhibitors yielded a synergistic inhibitory effect on *** the FSE mechanism is essential in all coronaviruses,carrimycin could be a new broad-spectrum antiviral drug for human coronaviruses by directly targeting the conserved coronaviral FSE *** finding may open a new direction in antiviral drug discovery for coronavirus variants.

印刷电路板式换热器(printedcircuitheatexchanger,PCHE)作为一种新型高效微通道换热器,将其应用在LNG浮式储存与气化装置(FSRU)上具有非常大的潜力。对超临界甲烷在PCHE通道中的流动和传热特性进行了数值模拟,结果表明:传热系数随温度先增大后减小,并在准临界温度(202~212 K)处达到峰值;压降随温度先保持不变,然后在准临界温度附近急剧上升,之后随温度增大的趋势变缓;当温度在准临界温度附近时,低质流密度下增大热通量会恶化传热;不同压力下传热系数均在准临界温度处达到峰值;温度低于准临界温度时,压力对压降的影响可以忽略,温度高于准临界温度时,压降随压力增大而显著降低;压力由6.4M Pa提高到8.5 MPa时,传热最大降低32.5%,压降最大降低28.5%;开发的换热和压降关联式平均误差分别为5.6%和4.2%。

COVID-19 pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection severely threatens global health and economic *** effective antiviral drug is currently available to treat COVID-19 and any other human coronavirus *** report herein that a macrolide antibiotic,carrimycin,potently inhibited the cytopathic effects(CPE)and reduced the levels of viral protein and RNA in multiple cell types infected by human coronavirus 229 E,OC43,and ***-of-addition and pseudotype virus infection studies indicated that carrimycin inhibited one or multiple post-entry replication events of human coronavirus *** support of this notion,metabolic labelling studies showed that carrimycin significantly inhibited the synthesis of viral *** studies thus strongly suggest that carrimycin is an antiviral agent against a broad-spectrum of human coronaviruses and its therapeutic efficacy to COVID-19 is currently under clinical investigation.
