Towards evolvable Internet architecture-design constraints and models analysis

There is a general consensus about the success of Internet architecture in academia and ***, with the development of diversified application, the existing Internet architecture is facing more and more challenges in scalability, security, mobility and performance. A novel evolvable Internet architecture framework is proposed in this paper to meet the continuous changing application requirements. The basic idea of evolvability is relaxing the constraints that limit the development of the architecture while adhering to the core design principles of the Internet. Three important design constraints used to ensure the construction of the evolvable architecture, including the evolvability constraint, the economic adaptability constraint and the manageability constraint, are comprehensively described. We consider that the evolvable architecture can be developed from the network layer under these design constraints. What’s more, we believe that the address system is the foundation of the Internet. Therefore, we propose a general address platform which provides a more open and efficient network environment for the research and development of the evolvable architecture.

Onedimensional porous carbons bearing high surface areas and sufficient heteroatom doped functionalities are essential for advanced electrochemical energy storage devices,especially for developing freestanding film *** we develop a porous,nitrogenenriched,freestanding hollow carbon nanofiber(PNFHCF)electrode material via filtration of polypyrrole(PPy)hollow nanofibers formed by in situ selfdegraded templateassisted strategy,followed by NH3assisted *** PNFHCF retains the freestanding film morphology that is composed of threedimensional networks from the entanglement of 1D nanofiber and delivers 3.7fold increase in specific surface area(592 m^(2)g^(-1))compared to the carbon without NH_(3)treatment(FHCF).In spite of the enhanced specific surface area,PNFHCF still exhibits comparable high content of surface N functionalities(8.8%,atom fraction)to *** developed hierarchical porous structure without sacrificing N doping functionalities together enables the achievement of high capacity,highrate property and good cycling stability when applied as selfsupporting anode in lithiumion batteries,superior to those of FHCF without NH3 treatment.

Tropical and subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests(EBFs)and needle-leaved forests(ENFs)in China exhibit complex leaf shedding strategies in responses to soil water availability,vapor pressure deficits(VPDs)and sunlight ***,the seasonal variations and triggers of litterfall differ significantly in tropical/subtropical forests,and there are still many ***,we aim to explore the distinct climatic factors of seasonal litterfall in a climate–phenology correlation *** collected seasonal litterfall data from 85 sites across tropical/subtropical China and used linear correlation coefficients between sunlight and rainfall to partition synchronous/asynchronous *** phase analysis and structural equation model analysis were conducted to model the climatic triggers of tropical *** indicated two types of tropical litterfall phenology under two types of *** synchronous climates,where seasonal sunlight and rainfall are positively correlated,the litterfall peak of the unimodal phenology and the first litterfall peak of the bimodal phenology both happen at the end of dry *** second litterfall peak of the bimodal phenology occurs at the end of rainy season due to water *** asynchronous climates,where seasonal sunlight and rainfall are negatively correlated,VPD shows consistent seasonal variations with incoming *** leaf senescence is accelerated at the end of dry season by higher VPD;while soil water deficit is in anti-phase with sunlight and mainly controls the second litterfall peak of the bimodal phenology in *** findings provide an important reference for modeling tropical phenology in Earth system models.

Egg white proteins are one of the major allergens. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of Aspergillus oryzae cultivation on IgE binding ability of egg white proteins. Effect of A. oryzae on egg white proteins was determined using ninhydrin method,SDS-PAGE, ELISA, fluorescence FITC labeling, MALDITOF-MS and LC-MS/MS analysis. Adding mycelium of A. oryzae ATCC 1011 and 16868 substantially reduced the IgE binding ability of acidified egg white after 24 h incubation. The binding capacity of egg white proteins to IgE in plasma from four egg allergy patients was almost completely lost after incubation with mycelium of ATCC16868. Results from SDS-PAGE, free amino acid analysis,MALDI-TOF-MS and LC-MS/MS indicated that there was no substantial protein degradation during ***, the reduction of IgE binding ability of egg white proteins during A. oryzae treatment was probably due to a loss of ～1700 Da mass including a fragment of the ovomucoid N terminus.

The scientific goal of the Anninghe seismic array is to investigate the detailed geometry of the Anninghe fault and the velocity structure of the fault *** 2D seismic array is composed of 161 stations forming sub-rectangular geometry along the Anninghe fault,which covers 50 km and 150 km in the fault normal and strike directions,respectively,with~5 km *** data were collected between June 2020 and June 2021,with some level of temporal *** types of instruments,***-05A and SmartSolo,are used in this *** quality and examples of seismograms are provided in this *** the data protection period ends(expected in June 2024),researchers can request a dataset from the National Earthquake Science Data Center.

The lower reaches of the Jinsha River are rich in hydropower resources because of the high mountains,deep valleys,and swift currents in this *** region also features complex tectonic structures and frequent *** the impoundment of the reservoirs,seismic activity increased ***,it is necessary to study the P-wave velocity structure and earthquake locations in the lower reaches of the Jinsha River and surrounds,thus providing seismological support for subsequent earthquake prevention and disaster reduction work in reservoir *** this study,we selected the data of 7.670 seismic events recorded by the seismic networks in ***,and Chongqing and the temporary seismic arrays deployed *** then applied the double-difference tomography method to this data,to obtain the P-wave velocity structure and earthquake locations in the lower reaches of the Jinsha River and *** results showed that the Jinsha River basin has a complex lateral P-wave velocity *** events are mainly distributed in the transition zones between high-and low-velocity anomalies,and seismic events are particularly intense in the Xiluodu and Baihetan reservoir *** cross-sections through the Xiangjiaba and Xiluodu reservoir areas revealed an apparent high-velocity anomaly at approximately 6 km depth:this high-velocity anomaly plays a role in stress accumulation,with few earthquakes distributed inside the high-velocity *** the impoundment of the Baihetan reservoir,the number of earthquakes in the reservoir area increased *** seismic events in the reservoir area north of 27°N were related to the enhanced activity of nearby faults after impoundment:the earthquakes in the reservoir area south of 27°N were probably induced by additional loads(or regional stress changes),and the multiple microseismic events may have been caused by rock rupture near the main faults under high pore pressure.

Atherosclerosis(AS)is a major cause of cardiovascular diseases(CVDs)and a strong link with hepatic *** carp muscle hydrolysate(SCH)possess various beneficial activities but its effect on AS and hepatic steatosis is yet *** study aimed to investigate the effects of SCH on AS lesions and hepatic steatosis using apoE-/-*** showed that SCH significantly reduced the vascular AS plaques and alleviated hepatic steatosis lesions in apoE-/-*** with this,the lipid levels both in circulation and liver were lowered by *** mechanism analysis showed SCH down-regulated the expression of genes involved in lipoproteins production while up-regulated the expression of genes related to reverse cholesterol transport(RCT)in ***,SCH remarkably promoted transintestinal cholesterol excretion(TICE)process in intestine,partly contributing to the reduction of blood *** peptide profile data indicated LYF,HWPW,FPK,and YPR are the main peptides in SCH that play a vital role in alleviating AS lesions and hepatic *** findings provided new knowledge for the application of SCH in ameliorating CVDs and liver diseases.

Building an IPv6 address generation and traceback system with NIDTGA in Address Driven Network

In the design and construction process of Next Generation Internet, it is important to identify the source of each IP packet forwarding accurately, especially for the support of precise fine-grained management,control, traceability and improving the trustworthiness of the Internet. This paper designed a scalable Network Identity(NID) scheme for the Internet users, proposed NIDTGA(Network Identity and Time Generated Address), an IPv6 address generation algorithm embedded NID and time information, then designed and implemented an IPv6 address generation and traceback system based on NIDTGA. The design of NIDTGA, which reflects the length, time and owner attributes of the IP address, can be a good support to ADN(Address Driven Network). At the same time, by embedding the key elements of user identity and time in the IPv6 address,and by taking into account both the traceability and privacy, NIDTGA can provide a technical basis for the establishment of the network trust mechanism, and achieve the traceability of security event.

Aims It has been well recognized that understory vegetation plays an important role in driving forest ecosystem processes and *** subtropical plantation forests,understory removal and fertiliza-tion have been widely applied;however,our understanding on how understory removal affects soil respiration and how the process is regulated by fertilization is ***,we conducted an under-story removal experiment combined with fertilization to evaluate the effects of the two forest management practices and their inter-actions on soil respiration in subtropical forest in southern *** The study was conducted in a split-plot design with fertilization as the whole-plot factor,understory removal as the subplot factor and block as the random factor in subtropical Eucalyptus *** total,there were four treatments:control with unfertilized and intact understory(CK),understory removal but without fertilization(UR),with fertilization but without understory removal(FT)and with fertilization+understory removal(FT+UR).Eucalyptus above-and belowground biomass increment,fine root biomass,soil tempera-ture,soil moisture and soil respiration were measured in the present *** respiration(Ru)was quantified in different ways:Ru=RCK−Ru or Ru=RFT−R(FT+u);fertilization increased soil respiration(RFI)was also quantified in different ways:RFI=RFT−RCK or RFI=R(FT+u)−*** Findingsover a 2-year experiment,our data indicate that understory removal significantly decreased soil respiration,while fertilization increased soil *** removal decreased soil respiration by 28.8%under fertilization,but only 15.2%without *** significantly increased soil respiration by 23.6%with the presence of understory vegetation,and only increased by 3.7%when understory was removed,indicating that fertilization increased soil respiration mainly by increasing the contribution of the *** study advances our understanding of
