PdCu alloy anchored defective titania for photocatalytic conversion of carbon dioxide into methane with 100% selectivity

The photoreduction of CO_(2)into CH_(4)with simultaneous high activity and selectivity is a promising strategy to increase energy supply and alleviate global ***,the absence of the active sites that is responsible for the adsorption and activation of CO_(2)and the generation of CO and H2via side reactions often lead to poor efficiency and low selectivity of the ***,Cu,Pd,and PdCu metal clusters cocatalyst-anchored defective TiO_(2)nanotubes(Cu/TiO_(2)-SBO,Pd/TiO_(2)-SBO,and Pd1Cu1/TiO_(2)-SBO)were designed via a simple solution impregnation reduction and applied for photocatalytic conversion of CO_(2)to CH_(4).The Pd1Cu1/TiO_(2)-SBO photocatalyst exhibits excellent catalytic performance among the other catalysts for photoreduction of CO_(2)into CH_(4).More interestingly,the product selectivity of CH_(4)reaches up to 100%with a rate of 25μmol g^(-1)h^(-1).In-situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS)and density functional theory(DFT)simulations indicate that the main reasons for the high selectivity of CH_(4)are attributed to the PdCu alloy and oxygen vacancies,which jointly enhance the photoinduced carrier separation and lower energy barriers of key ***,due to the tunable d-band center of the Cu site in the PdCu alloy,the generated intermediates can be well prevented from poisoning and promoted to participate in further ***,the current study will provide insight into the development of new,highly selective photocatalysts for the visible light-catalytic reduction of CO_(2)into CH_(4).

Spin-orbit,charge-transfer intersystem crossing(SOCT-ISC)can directly overcome the disadvantages of the traditional heavy-atom effect and improve the generation efficiency of reactive oxygen species(ROS).Since orthogonal molecular orbitals of donor-acceptor(D-A)pairs favor the SOCT-ISC transition,herein aza-borondipyrromethenes(aza-BODIPYs)with 1,7-di-anthracyl groups(An-azaBDP)was successfully prepared,owing to steric hindrance to produce a big dihedral angle between the two molecular orbital(MO)***,according to density functional theory(DFT)and time-dependent density functional theory(TDDFT),the energy difference between the S1-T1orbitals of An-aza BDP is small and more inclined towards ***-aza BDP can effectively generate singlet oxygen under light ***-aza BDP with light irradiation can induce apoptosis in SW620 cells,and can serve as a potential candidate for the treatment of cancer cells and tumors.

Due to its large magnetocrystalline anisotropy field and high Curie temperature,SmCo-based magnets are irreplaceable in high-temperature applications,The hot-deformed SmCo-based magnets are especially attractive for their excellent corrosion resistance,making them more suitable for harsh ***,it is still challenging for hot-deformed SmCo-based magnets to obtain high magnetization and high coercivity ***,it is necessary to analyze the relationship between its microstructure and magnetic properties and explore its magnetic hardening mechanism to guide the further improvement of magnetic *** this paper,the anisotropic heterostructure SmCo_(5)magnet was prepared by combining large height-reduction and introducing a nano-grained Smrich *** c-axis texture,(BH)m of 16.1 MGOe,and H_(ci)of 9.6 kOe were obtained via the heterostructure with SmCo_(5)micron-grain and Sm-rich nano-scale *** magnetic domain observation and technical magnetization analysis demonstrate that the coe rcivity mechanism is dominated by *** results also show that the smooth and Sm-rich precipitated grain boundary provides weak pinning *** provides a reference for the development of high-pe rformance nanocrystalline SmCo_(5)magnets.

Effects of land-use patterns on soil microbial diversity and composition in the Loess Plateau,China

In the Loess Plateau of China,land-use pattern is a major factor in controlling underlying biological ***,the process of land-use pattern was accompanied by abandoned lands,potentially impacting soil ***,limited researches were conducted to study the impacts of land-use patterns on the diversity and community of soil microorganisms in this *** study aimed to investigate soil microbial community diversity and composition using high-throughput deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)sequencing under different land-use patterns(apricot tree land,apple tree land,peach tree land,corn land,and abandoned land).The results showed a substantial difference(P20.65%),and Ascomycota(77.42%)varied in soils with different land-use *** pH exerted a dominant impact on the soil bacterial communities'composition,whereas soil available phosphorus was the main factor shaping the soil fungal communities'*** findings suggest that variations in land-use pattern had resulted in changes to soil properties,subsequently impacting diversity and structure of microbial community in the Loess *** the strong interdependence between soil and its microbiota,it is imperative to reclaim abandoned lands to maintain soil fertility and sustain its function,which will have significant ecological service implications,particularly with regards to soil conservation in ecologically vulnerable areas.

Analysis method and experimental study of ice accumulation detection signal based on Lamb waves

A quantitative identification method for in-flight icing has the capability to significantly enhance the safety of aircraft *** guided waves have the unique advantage of detecting icing in a relatively large area,but quantitative identification of ice layers is a *** this paper,a quantitative identification method of ice accumulation based on ultrasonic guided waves is ***,a simulation model for the wave dynamics of piezoelectric coupling in three dimensions is established to analyze the propagation characteristics of Lamb waves in a structure consisting of an aluminum plate and an ice *** wavelet transform method is utilized to extract the Time of Flight(ToF)or Time of Delay(ToD)of S_(0)/B_(1) mode waves,which serves as a characteristic parameter to precisely determine and assess the level of ice ***,an experimental system is developed to evaluate the feasibility of Lamb waves-based icing real-time detection in the presence of spray ***,a combination of the Hampel median filter and the moving average filter is developed to analyze ToF/ToD *** simulation results reveal a positive correlation between geometric dimensions(length,width,thickness)of the ice layer and ToF/ToD of B1 mode waves,indicating their potential as indicators for quantifying ice *** results of real-time icing detection indicate that ToF/ToD will reach greater peak values with the growth of the arbitrary-shaped ice layer until saturation to effectively predict the simulation *** study lays a foundation for the practical application of quantitative icing detection via ultrasonic guided waves.

Superplastic forming is a practical method to manufacture complex-shaped parts of titanium alloys with large *** parts of dissimilar titanium alloys fabricated by superplastic forming can achieve excellent performance by combining the advantages of *** work displays the superplastic tension behavior and microstructural evolution of dissimilar TC4/SP700 laminate prepared by the diffusion bonding *** titanium alloys can achieve metallurgical bonding at parameters of 800℃/1 h/5 *** for dynamic recrystallization and grain growth behaviors upon superplastic tension,stress-induced phase transformation plays an important role inαtoβphase transformation apart from the elevated *** superplastic deformation can be attributed to the grain boundary sliding accommodated multiplex motion of *** addition,the retained strengths of all dissimilar TC4/SP700 laminates after superplastic deformation with different strain rates and temperatures range from 807 to 890 MPa.

Serving as targeting ligands,aptamers have shown promise in precision ***,the lack of knowledge of the biosafety and metabolism patterns in the human body largely impeded aptamers’clinical *** bridge this gap,here we report the first-in-human pharmacokinetics study of protein tyrosine kinase 7 targeted SGC8 aptamer via in vivo PET tracking of gallium-68(^(68)Ga)radiolabeled *** specificity and binding affinity of a radiolabeled aptamer,named ^(68)Ga[Ga]-NOTA-SGC8,were maintained as proven in *** preclinical biosafety and biodistribution evaluation confirmed that aptamers have no biotoxicity,potential mutation risks,or genotoxicity at high dosage(40 mg/kg).Based on this result,a first-in-human clinical trial was approved and carried out to evaluate the circulation and metabolism profiles,as well as biosafety,of the radiolabeled SGC8 aptamer in the human *** advantage of the cutting-edge total-body PET,the aptamers’distribution pattern in the human body was acquired in a dynamic fashion.

A new targeted on-ramp control approach considering both efficiency and equity

On-ramp control is an effective approach for alleviating traffic congestion on ***,there is still a lack of on-ramp control approaches applicable to large regional highway ***,we develop a targeted on-ramp control approach applicable to regional highway networks by taking advantage of the vehicle source information,which pinpoints the on-ramps contributing major traffic flow to the highway ***,a combined and tunable controlling index is proposed to enhance the equity of the generated traffic control *** proposed on-ramp control approach is validated on an actual large highway network using actual travel demand *** indicate that the proposed approach can well mitigate the traffic congestion of highway bottleneck while at the same time enhancing the equity and practicability of the generated traffic control scheme.
