To the Editor:As of August 9,2020,the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has infected 19,432,244 people and caused 721,594 deaths globally.To timely identify the infected persons,nucleic acid detection screenings have been carried out for high-infection risk groups in areas known to have coronavirus disease 19(COVID-19)cases,such as Wuhan,Beijing,and Xinjiang.The rapid identification of infected patients and the implementation of quarantine measures play an important role in preventing the transmission of SARS-CoV-2.However,there are some issues associated with large-scale screening for this virus.The consumption of equipment and reagents for specimen collection and detection is high,resulting in elevated screening costs.Moreover,with the increase in the number of samples collected,the testing capabilities of medical institutions have reached a saturation point,hindering the speed and scope of large-scale screenings.For this reason,the mixed detection after RNA extraction(detection in a mixture of nucleic acids extracted from several patients)or before RNA extraction(detection in a mixture of pharyngeal swab transfer buffer obtained from different patients before nucleic acid extraction)has been proposed in many regions.[1]However,both the pooling of swab transfer buffer before nucleic acid extraction and pooling of RNA after nucleic acid extraction inevitably cause dilution of samples and decrease of detection sensitivity.However,there is still a lack of research on how to effectively improve the screening efficiency and control the decrease of sensitivity caused by dilution in an appropriate range.In this study,we designed a novel 10-in-1 test(ten pharyngeal swab samples from ten individuals were placed in one custom-made virus collection tube[CMT]for nucleic acid extraction and testing)by optimizing the current mixed acquisition technique,and after a promising pilot test.

This cohort study was performed to explore the influence of intensive care unit(ICU)quality on in-hospital mortality of veno-venous(V-V)extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)-supported patients in China.The study involved all V-V ECMO-supported patients in 318 of 1700 tertiary hospitals from 2017 to 2019,using data from the National Clinical Improvement System and China National Critical Care Quality Control Center.ICU quality was assessed by quality control indicators and capacity parameters.Among the 2563 V-V ECMO-supported patients in 318 hospitals,a significant correlation was found between ECMO-related complications and prognosis.The reintubation rate within 48 hours after extubation and the total ICU mortality rate were independent risk factors for higher in-hospital mortality of V-V ECMO-supported patients(cutoff:1.5%and 7.0%;95%confidence interval:1.05–1.48 and 1.04–1.45;odds ratios:1.25 and 1.23;P=0.012 and P=0.015,respectively).Meanwhile,the V-V ECMO center volume was a protective factor(cutoff of≥50 cases within the 3-year study period;95%confidence interval:0.57–0.83,odds ratio:0.69,P=0.0001).The subgroup analysis of 864 patients in 11 high-volume centers further strengthened these findings.Thus,ICU quality may play an important role in improving the prognosis of V-V ECMO-supported patients.

Modulating CsPbl_(3)crystallization by using diammonium agent for efficient solar cells

Cesium lead triiodide(CsPbI_(3))perovskite receives tremendous attention for photovoltaic applications,owing to its remarkable thermal stability and optoelectronic properties.However,realizing the CsPbI_(3)perovskite with high black-phase stability and optoelectronic properties remains a significant challenge,which largely affects the photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Herein,aromatic ammonium agents are used to modulate the crystallization of the CsPbI_(3)perovskite to improve its black-phase stability and optoelectronic properties for efficient PSCs.Systemically experimental studies and comprehensively theoretical calculations are performed,which reveal that histammonium dihydrochloride(HACl_(2))could strongly couple with the perovskite during its crystallization,leading to faster nucleation and slower perovskite growth,and thus modulating the crystallization dynamics of the perovskites.Moreover,the residual diammonium cations(HA^(2+))distributed at the grain boundaries and on the surface of the perovskites can effectively passivate defects through electrostatic interactions,substantially suppressing trap-assisted nonradiative recombination,and prompting more matched perovskite surface energetics.Consequently,the photovoltaic performance of CsPbI_(3)PSCs is largely improved because of a combination of enhanced crystallinity and optoelectronic properties of the perovskites.This work offers a new avenue to prepare inorganic perovskites with high optoelectronic properties for photovoltaics.

Method of Multi-Mode Sensor Data Fusion with an Adaptive Deep Coupling Convolutional Auto-Encoder

To address the difficulties in fusing multi-mode sensor data for complex industrial machinery, an adaptive deep coupling convolutional auto-encoder (ADCCAE) fusion method was proposed. First, the multi-mode features extracted synchronously by the CCAE were stacked and fed to the multi-channel convolution layers for fusion. Then, the fused data was passed to all connection layers for compression and fed to the Softmax module for classification. Finally, the coupling loss function coefficients and the network parameters were optimized through an adaptive approach using the gray wolf optimization (GWO) algorithm. Experimental comparisons showed that the proposed ADCCAE fusion model was superior to existing models for multi-mode data fusion.

Unique Structure and Mechanical Property of Dabryanus Scale

The structure and mechanical property of Dabryanus scale were investigated. Environmental Scanning Electron Micros- copy （ESEM） and Transmission Electron Microscopy （TEM） were used to observe the scale structure. The scale has a discrete osseous layer which is composed of boat-like unit （due to the shape）. The osseous layer is embedded into fibrillary layer, and the largest thickness ratio of osseous layer to fibrillary layer is about 7, much higher than those of other reported fish scales. Nanoindentation test was used to investigate mechanical property of the scale. Elastic modulus （E,） and hardness （H） of Dabryanus scale are much lower than those of other reported fish scales. Scale models were proposed and the principles of materials mechanics were used to analyze the mechanical properties of the Dabryanus scale. The boat-like unit in osseous layer makes the scale flexible while keeping a high thickness ratio of osseous layer to fibrillary layer, which increases the flexibility and protection capacity of the scale This study may provide new strategy for the design of flexible armor or flexible devices.

针对复杂产品装配工艺设计过程中存在的编制效率低、质量波动大、自动化和智能化程度低等问题,提出一种面向语义的知识实例检索和复用的装配工艺快速编制方法。分析复杂产品装配工艺业务流程,建立基于知识检索层和知识实例层的双层装配工艺知识模型,从内容、类型、功能及应用方向对知识进行分类。在此基础上,针对已有的知识实例,提出基于Sentence-BERT句向量模型的工艺文档语义分析方法,结合余弦相似度算法给出了工艺知识的语义检索方法,实现知识在装配工艺设计流程中的快速复用。以某航天产品为例,开发航天产品装配工艺快速设计管理系统,构建装配工艺知识库,并在某制造企业上线运行,验证所提方法的可行性,使工艺编制效率大幅提升。

采用原位聚合法,以聚乙二醇(PEG)为相变软段,异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯(IPDI)为硬段,聚多巴胺包覆的钨掺杂二氧化钒(W-VO_(2)@PDA)为填料,制备了钨掺杂二氧化钒@聚多巴胺改性聚氨酯固-固相变材料(W-VO_(2)@PDA/PUPCM)。考察了PEG相对分子质量(简称分子量)对W-VO_(2)@PDA/PUPCM乳液稳定性和整理织物调温性的影响。通过FTIR、TEM、POM、XRD、DSC和TG对材料的化学结构、结晶性能、相变性能和热稳定性进行了测试和表征。结果表明,PEG分子量对W-VO_(2)@PDA/PUPCM的储热性能和相变性能有很大的影响,当PEG分子量为8000时,W-VO_(2)@PDA/PUPCM具有良好的形状稳定性和热稳定性,熔融温度和熔融焓最高,分别为51.52℃和144.82 J/g,与未经整理织物相比,经W-VO_(2)@PDA/PUPCM整理后织物升温和降温最大温差分别为7.8和5.3℃。

室内手机导航与位置服务是当前的研究热点,场景要素实例化现实增强方法是其中重要的组成部分。实例分割是场景要素感知中一项具有挑战性的基本任务,增强现实是数字孪生建筑物地图应用的有效途径,两者在室内定位导航领域有着重要意义。当前,增强现实技术主要应用在对场景中的语义增强,智能手机室内导航AR增强也只是停留在视觉可视化效果方面,尚没有真正深入到对场景中要素实例的增强层面。针对该问题,提出手机场景要素实例化AR研究思路,通过识别室内场景中的对象并与建筑物地图进行匹配,将建筑物地图中对应存储的要素信息利用AR技术进行增强显示,进而辅助行人进行室内导航与位置服务等相关应用,提升用户室内定位导航等位置服务的信息化水平。对智能手机端视频的实例分割和增强现实方法进行了系统的梳理,并分析了相关方法的特点和适用场景,总结了移动端实例分割和增强现实的研究进展,最后探讨了室内场景要素实例化现实增强方法在导航与位置服务领域的应用前景。
