Novel dynamic evidential Petri net for system reliability analysis

This paper proposes a novel dynamic Petri net (PN) model based on Dempster-Shafer (D-S) evidence theory, and this improved evidential Petri net (EPN) model is used in knowledge inference and reliability analysis of complex mechanical systems. The EPN could take epistemic uncertainty such as interval information, subjective information into account by applying D-S evidence quantification theory. A dynamic representation model is also proposed based on the dynamic operation rules of the EPN model, and an improved artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm is employed to proceed optimization calculation during the complex systems' learning process. The improved ABC algorithm and D-S evidence theory overcome the disadvantage of extremely subjective in traditional knowledge inference efficiently and thus could improve the accuracy of the EPN learning model. Through a simple numerical case and a satellite driving system analysis, this paper proves the superiority of the EPN and the dynamic knowledge representation method in reliability analysis of complex systems.

The cellular structured titanium alloys have attracted significant attention for implants because of their lower Young’s modulus,which is comparable to human bone and has the capability of providing space for bone tissue in-growth.However,there is a gap in the knowledge in regard to the relationship between the pore characteristics and the electrochemical performance of open-cellular structured titanium alloys.In this study,we elucidate the influence of pore characteristics on the electrochemical performance of open-cellular structured Ti-6Al-4V alloys produced by electron beam melting(EBM).Intriguingly,the passive film formed on cellular structured Ti-6Al-4V alloy with a larger pore size was more stable and protective,and the corrosion performance was superior compared to the samples with a smaller pore size in phosphate buffered saline(PBS),mainly because of relatively smaller exposed surface area and unlimited flow of electrolyte.However,in acidic PBS containing fluoride ions,the pore characteristics did not play an important role in the corrosion resistance.It was considered that the protective film breaks down such that the corrosion performance of cellular structured alloys was comparable to each other in this harsh environment.

Rhabdomyosarcomas(RMSs)are highly malignant soft-tissue sarcomas.Head and neck RMSs often pose unique challenges to treatment because of their closeness to important structures.We here report a rare case of a 1-year-old boy with a 1-month history of right eye swelling and an eye mass.Biopsy of deep tumors in the maxillofacial region supports embryonal RMS.Postoperative positron emission computed tomography showed a 5.0 cm×4.8 cm×4.2 cm malignant tumor in the right maxillary region.In accordance with the international RMS study group guideline,the child was diagnosed with IIIa and TNM stage T2bN1M1 embryonal RMS.The child was treated with a combination of chemotherapy and ^(125)I seed implantation radiotherapy and eventually achieved partial remission.This case report shows that ^(125)I seed implantation is a safe and effective means of delivering radiotherapy to young children with head and neck RMSs.It may be an option for children with RMSs for whom surgery or external radiotherapy is unsuitable.

“双碳”目标的实现不仅需要政府、企业和非政府组织的参与,更需要公众在日常生活中积极践行亲环境行为。以刺激-机体-反应理论作为框架,整合计划行为理论和规范激活理论构建出一个链式中介模型。基于河南、江苏、四川三省共836份有效公众样本数据,运用结构方程模型进行实证分析,探究绿色氛围对公众亲环境意愿的影响及其内在机理。研究结果表明:1)亲环境意愿受绿色氛围影响,其中控制性绿色氛围对亲环境意愿产生显著正向影响,而支持性绿色氛围的影响不显著。2)支持性绿色氛围对个人规范和行为态度均产生显著正向影响,而控制性绿色氛围仅对个人规范有正向影响。3)个人规范和行为态度在绿色氛围与亲环境意愿之间起到中介作用,其中个人规范通过影响行为态度产生链式中介效应。该研究对厘清绿色氛围与亲环境意愿之间的关系具有重要意义,并为政府制定相关政策提供了理论依据和行为建议。

Mining causes stress redistribution and stratum movement.In this paper,a numerical model was built according to the geological conditions in the 12th coal mine in Pingdingshan city to study the strata movement and the evolution of stress when mining two overlapping longwall panels,named panels#14 and#15.The strata close to the mined panel move directly towards the gob,while the strata that are farther away swing back and forth during the mining process.The directed movement and swinging can break the transverse boreholes for gas extraction;a surface borehole should not be within the range of directional movement.The stress evolution suggested that the mining of the lower panel#15 after the upper panel#14 would further increase the de-stressed range,while the stress concentration around the mined panel would be increased.Hard strata usually carry a greater stress than adjacent rocks and soft coal seams.The stress in a hard stratum increases greatly,and the stress decreases greatly in the coal seams below the hard stratum.This study supplies a reference for similar coal mines and is useful for determining the de-stressed range and transverse borehole arrangement for gas extraction.

SETD2 is the main transferase for the trimethylation of histone H3 at lysine 36 (H3K36me3) in mammals. SETD2 plays important role in repairing DNA double strand breaks and maintaining chromatin integrity.1 In renal carcinoma, SETD2 deficiency caused DNA replication fork instability and DNA damage.2 The absence of SETD2 was also reported to have strong tumor-promoting effects in lung adenocarcinomas (LUAD).3 However, the other roles of SETD2 remain poorly understood in LUAD. In this study, we utilized comprehensive omics-data analysis to determine that SETD2 was associated with DNA damage and immune-related signals in LUAD. SETD2 knockdown induced DNA damage and cGAS activation in LUAD cells, and reduced the number of cells at the G1 phase. Moreover, SETD2 deficiency was conducive to mutation burden, immune cell infiltration, and immunotherapy responses. High SETD2 expression was associated with high radiocurability. These findings suggest that SETD2 may be a promising biomarker of therapeutic responses for LUAD patients, and offer novel insights into immunotherapy and radiotherapy.

培养学生的道德动机,是道德教育的一项重要任务。道德动机的生成受到多种因素的影响,其中“德福关系”是重要影响因素之一。德福一致历来都是人们伦理生活追求的理想目标,但由于生活世界的复杂性,“德”与“福”在实然层面并不完全一致。这一悖论的存在对道德教育构成了严峻挑战,严重挫伤甚至抹杀着学生践行道德的动机。传统路径诉诸超验力量、内在情感与理性等方式探寻解决方案,为化解道德动机难题提供了基本遵循,但在“祛魅”的现代社会中却遭到了多重挑战。破解这一困境,需要吸收传统路径的“合理内核”,克服其片面化、抽象化和绝对化的倾向。在坚持人的自然性与自由性相统一、道德他律与道德自律相统一、保障德福一致与培养内在德性相统一的基础上,通过完善赏罚机制、重塑德福信仰、培育道德良心的方式,为道德动机难题的解决提供一种可能方案。

A new structural reliability analysis method in presence of mixed uncertainty variables

For structures with both random and fuzzy uncertainty,this paper presents a novel method for determining the membership function in fuzzy reliability with the Automatic Updating Extreme Response Surface(AUERS)method.In the proposed method,fuzzy variables are initially converted into a value domain under the given cut level and the extreme point in the domain where the reliability reaches its extreme value is considered.Second,the Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)algorithm is used to determine the extreme point according to the extreme responses for different sets of random sample inputs.A kriging response surface is subsequently constructed between the random variables and the corresponding extreme points.An automatic updating strategy is then introduced based on the Relative Mean Square Predicted Error(RMSPE)before performing every iteration of reliability analysis.By adding new sample points,the approximate quality of the kriging response surface is improved.Finally,reliability analysis is used to determine the reliability bound under the given cut level.The proposed method assures the accuracy and computation efficiency of the mixed uncertainty reliability analysis results while it prevents the solution from becoming trapped in a local optimum,which occurs in classical optimization methods.Two example analyses are used to demonstrate the validity and advantages of the proposed method.

Polyploidy Induction and Morphological Characteristics in the Asiatic Hybrid Lily(Lilium spp.cultivar dazzling)

The Asiatic hybrid lily cultivar Lilium dazzling(family Liliaceae)is a perennial herbaceous bulbous plant with bright yellow flowers of ornamental values.It also shows resistance to diseases and abiotic stress,making it an ideal parent for breeding studies.This study established a sterile culture system using scales of dazzling lily as explants to induce polyploidy.Adventitious buds growing to 1 cm were treated with different concentrations of colchicine(125,250 and 500μmol·L-1),pendimethalin or trifluralin(100,200 and 300μmol·L-1,respectively)for 12,24 and 36 h.Flow cytometry and chromosome counting were used to identify ploidy,and the phenotype of the polyploids was examined by stomatal observation and leaf index determination.With increasing mutagen concentration and exposure time,the mortality and mutagenic rate increased.The optimal treatment group was:300μmol·L-1 trifluralin for 12 h,which resulted in 15.55%mortality rate and 42.22%induction rate.The polyploid plants showed a significant increase in stomata length,leaf length and leaf width,with a decrease in stomatal density compared with the control plants.This study provided a basis for polyploid breeding.
